Projects of houses with a patio.

Patio or outdoor patio near the living area, may have different shape and sizes. You can equip it by surrounding it from different sides with walls or fences, a lattice or galleries, as well as a hedge of trees and shrubs.

Patio or outdoor patio near the living area, can be of different shapes and sizes

Before you build a courtyard or patio on a suburban area, you need to draw up and calculate the project. Specialists and designers can offer to bring to life not only beautiful, but also original projects such buildings, which are located both in front of the house and inside the household from timber and stone. Professional design engineers most often use the option of complex landscaping with the construction the following types patio:

  • inside a four-walled courtyard, with a fence and a gate;
  • with one wall and decorative fencing;
  • in the form of a glass flask at a house with a flat roof;
  • corner type, adjoining one of the walls of the house;
  • with a fireplace wall for cooking on an open fire;
  • with artificial pond and decorations.

To get a full-fledged and modern landscape design with a competent arrangement of the patio, you can also look at the already finished projects or develop individual plan improvement.

Types of recreation areas patio

There are several types of patio areas in the local area, but the most popular are corner buildings, courtyards at the back of the household, balcony and multi-level accommodation, as well as a solarium patio and a romantic patio with a barbecue area.

Gazebo-patio for relaxing in the country

Traditional construction with a roof made of durable and durable materials able to protect from the sun and precipitation. Most often, the roof is made of translucent polycarbonate, and the walls are made lattice, which allows you to plant climbing perennials and annual flowering crops around the perimeter.

Romantic patio in the courtyard of a country house

Extremely popular design in mediterranean style. If you decide to create a recreation area with your own hands for romantic meetings and spending evenings for two, then it is best to choose a place in the most remote corner of the garden, where you can retire, and also create the most attractive design against the backdrop of greenery and flowers. The performed site can be both open and closed dense vegetation, decorative fences, fabric canopy.

Projects of houses combined with a patio area

The need to combine home ownership with a recreation area involves the development of a special project. In this case, it is advisable to give preference to the most popular trends, including free planning and combining a kitchen-dining room. Home ownership can be with a traditional pitched roof and a flat roof.

The second option allows you to use the roof surface as a landscaped terrace. Planned houses with a traditional pitched roof are most often built around a patio. In this case, a comfortable living room, combined with a kitchen, should be equipped panoramic windows and access to a covered patio.

Patio with BBQ to meet friends

When choosing a place in the country to create a recreation area with a barbecue, several of the most important nuances must be taken into account. According to the fire safety rules, branches of trees or shrubs should not hang over the site being created. Potted crops can be used to decorate such a zone, artificial reservoirs or decorative fountains.

It is advisable to locate the site in close proximity to the household, which will make it possible to supply the electrical network and the water supply system. Traditional is rectangular shape sites, allowing you to conveniently place furniture and the barbecue itself, but round or oval areas with a barbecue for relaxing with a large company or family look very impressive.

Tiered patio

The original version of the multi-level patio is optimally suited for arrangement in areas with a shortage of free space. Among other things, it is precisely such recreation areas that are most relevant if the owner of suburban real estate plans to use this element. garden design not only for entertainment and relaxation, but also for other purposes. With a whimsical appearance, the tiered patio option, which includes a cut of several types of floors, is great for decorating in modern styles.

The choice of furniture for a seating area in the garden

A properly executed patio includes several traditional elements, represented by small areas for relaxation, an area for economic needs, an artificial reservoir in the form of a pool or pond with a fountain, a drainage system, green areas in the form of lawns or flower beds, as well as plant collections.

The main elements should be carried out in the same style, one hundred will emphasize the entire isolation of the equipped recreation area, therefore Special attention given right choice furniture. First you need to decide whether the furniture will be under open sky throughout the year or clean indoors with the onset of winter. Street furniture It has different purpose , so it is advisable to purchase whole sets, including sun loungers, chairs or armchairs, benches and tables.

It should be remembered that furniture made of cast iron or stone is incredibly beautiful, but most often it is stationary, so for a small patio, it is advisable to purchase lighter furniture made of plastic, bamboo, cane or rattan.

How to make a wooden patio in the country with your own hands

Wood is a natural, environmentally friendly and comfortable material for spending time, which is quite affordable for purchase and easy to use. It is for these reasons that many owners of suburban real estate increasingly prefer wooden buildings in the recreation area.

Choosing and preparing a place under the patio

To begin work on the construction of the patio, you will need to mark the area in accordance with the project. Recreation areas with a wooden floor look great, and a light floor board allows you to visually enlarge the territory. There are several ways to lay a wooden floor:

  • the use of hardwoods, including ash and oak, which are most resistant to negative street influences;
  • fixation of modern terrace board or decking, most often represented by a combination of wood and plastic derivatives, which makes it possible to take advantage of the specific resistance of polymers to external factors.

Laying of building and finishing material is carried out on wooden or metal logs installed on a previously cleaned and marked surface.

Many owners of suburban real estate increasingly prefer wooden buildings in the recreation area.

Construction of the main structure

The above-ground structure for recreation can be made in the form of a spacious platform, sheathed with traditional wooden boards, and equipped with several sections with zones for the location of the hearth, a place to relax with furniture and a decorative artificial reservoir. To protect personal space from prying eyes, walls are erected that can have the most different height- from a few centimeters to a couple of meters.

Steps, walls and patio arches are usually made from the same construction materials. finishing materials, that were used in the cladding of households. Thus, it is possible to show a smooth transition from the building to the patio for relaxation. If a barbecue area is set up in the zone, then in this case only non-combustible and refractory materials are used, which should differ not only in resistance to fire, but also in durability. If the site is fenced in the form of a lattice, then it is allowed to decorate the walls with climbing vegetation.

The above-ground structure for recreation can be made in the form of a spacious platform, sheathed with traditional wooden boards.

Making an Inexpensive Patio Canopy

If you need to build an inexpensive canopy, first of all, you need to decide on the choice of its design. This design can be done:

  • in the form of a gazebo;
  • in the form of a terrace;
  • in the form of a visor;
  • in the form of an imitation of a porch.

The design of the canopy can be attached or freestanding. The material for the construction of a canopy can be:

  • wood;
  • profiled flooring;
  • sheet polycarbonate;
  • plexiglass;
  • colored euroslate;
  • metal tiles;
  • thick fabric.

Especially popular are decorative canopies, which are optimally suited for decoration and serve as an original addition to the overall style of all suburban buildings

At self erection design, it is very important to consider the following basic rules:

  • the canopy is carried out with a minimum slope of 5-10%, which will not allow snow and water to accumulate on the surface;
  • when arranging a place to rest, you need to count on two square meters for one person;
  • the optimal dimensions for arranging a patio with a barbecue are 4x6 m.

The support can be made of concrete, wood or metal. Depending on the design features, a canopy over the recreation area can be:

  • direct, the easiest to manufacture and well protected from direct sunlight;
  • inclined, single-slope and gable type, preventing the accumulation of water and snow on the surface;
  • complex, arched, domed, polygonal and pyramidal shape based on flexible materials, including profiled sheets and polycarbonate.

Especially popular are decorative canopies, which are optimally suited for decoration and serve as an original addition to the overall style of all summer cottages. Any decorative canopy, if desired, is able to perform enclosing and protective functions.

The canopy is carried out with a minimum slope of 5-10%, which will not allow snow and water to accumulate on the surface

Fencing and landscaping of the recreation area

The flora planted in the recreation area should be represented by vegetation that will make it easy to create an unobtrusive and relaxing atmosphere of well-being and complete tranquility. It is highly undesirable to use for the purpose of landscaping too bright and very colorful, fragrant flowers that highlight a large number of nectar. Such vegetation, as a rule, attracts pollinating insects, including various flies, midges, bumblebees and bees that can interfere with outdoor recreation. Undersized conifers will complement the design of the erected recreation area in a very original and harmonious way.

How to equip a patio area (video)

patio area lighting

In the process of decorating the erected site, it is imperative to resolve the issue of supplying electricity, but the installed lamps should form a calm, matte lighting that does not dazzle the eyes. The appearance of the lamps can be in the same style with general design patio or vice versa, should create a bright and original accent in certain areas of the alternative living room. Covered or outdoor area edge lighting along the entire perimeter allows you to emphasize the shape of the patio, and also provides complete security, being a very practical lighting system.

Attention, only TODAY!

Our heroes - mature married couple- turned to the architect-designers Egle Prunskiene and Eva Prunskaitė for professional help, already having a clear idea of how their future house intended for permanent residence should look like. (Note that the concept of the object was influenced by the type of activity, hobbies and lifestyle of customers - professional artists, as well as professors of the Vilnius Academy of Arts).

The one-story building was to be designed based on the Hindu building concept "Vastu Purusha Mandala", which is based on "the imprint of an ordered world." The proportions of the premises, according to this concept, are not important, since it is not a direct guide to action, but rather a scheme that provides both customers and specialists with a certain freedom.

The attic space is included in the living volume, and a number of elements truss system(headstocks and puffs) are left open, which visually corrects the proportions of the rooms

The general lighting in the house is controlled by rotary spotlights, fixed on wooden puffs. Local illumination is provided for the main zones. In the living room it is a floor lamp, in the dining room - a suspension, in the library - an oriental "lantern"

Furniture of laconic form and materials with a smooth or brutal texture create an optimal background for antique furniture

On the floor in rooms public access porcelain stoneware was laid, in the private half (bedroom, library and even workshop) a single-strip parquet board was used

At the same time, "Vastu Purusha mandala" sets the structure square shape and special internal organization. For example, the location of the rooms should be correlated with the distribution of energy flows associated with the primary elements (earth, air, fire, water, space). Another mandatory point: to take the center of the building under the "geographical center of space" - the patio, leaving it free from pillars, walls, ceilings and a canopy, which would provide direct contact with the earth and sky.

It is interesting that the Baltic architectural culture - maximum openness, the desire for unity with the outside world - ran counter to the isolation required by the customers, their desire to transfer their private life inside the house and on the patio. The architects-designers also had other doubts, connected, however, no longer with design aspects, but with the comfort of living in such an inward-oriented building.

The spouses already had a successful experience of permanent residence in their own cottage. They turned to us for the realization of a long-standing dream of a one-story house with a patio. A customer once lived and worked very productively in a similar Hindu building. We admit that such a desire seemed rash to us. After all, India has a completely different climate, and the sun is not an example more. Since the main windows were supposed to be placed on the side of the patio, we were afraid that the rooms would turn out to be cold and not well lit. However, the fears turned out to be unfounded. Thanks to the selected materials, structures and engineering equipment, the cottage turned out to be no less comfortable for living than modern Baltic private houses. But most importantly, such a distance from the outside world has a fruitful effect on the work of our clients, it has become much easier for them to focus on art and create.

Architects-Designers

Egle Prunskiene, Eva Prunskaite

First of all, the owners and performers decided on the list of necessary premises. In addition to the obligatory - kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom - in the cottage it was necessary to find a place for a workshop and a library. In addition, it was necessary to enter very prosaic, but important premises - bathrooms, a boiler room, a garage into the volumetric-spatial solution predetermined by the mandala.

It made it possible to realize the plan almost completely. The entrance to the building was organized along the central axis; on it, but in the opposite part of the cottage, across the patio, they placed a library. The right, south-facing wing was assigned to a representative area (kitchen-dining room and living room) and a private room - a bedroom, separating it from the general purpose room with a "buffer" - a dressing room.

The left, northern wing was given over to working and technical volumes: a workshop was located in the part most remote from the entrance, closer to it - a boiler room and a garage.

Construction technologies, attracted for the construction of an unusual cottage, were determined based on the characteristics of the building site and economic feasibility. Due to the heterogeneity of the soil (according to the hydrogeological survey, there were loam, sand, and stones on the site), at first glance, a buried monolithic slab. However, the impressive costs of its construction, but most of all the need to equip the patio, tipped the scales in the direction of the less costly and fast in the construction of a pile with a monolithic grillage.

Such a foundation guaranteed the stability of the building even in the conditions of the existing complex soil, in addition, it really ensured the contact of the central zone of the cottage - the patio - with the ground. Lungs helped reduce the cost of piles expanded clay concrete blocks used for the construction external walls. And in order to ensure proper enclosing structures, they were insulated from the outside with a 200-mm layer of mineral wool, after which they were covered structural plaster and painted.

Space under pitched roof included in ; again, in order to maintain a comfortable microclimate in the premises, the slopes are reliably secured by means of a powerful - 400 mm thick - layer of mineral wool insulation. The issue of proper insolation of residential and auxiliary rooms was resolved thanks to the French, fully glazed translucent structures provided along the inner perimeter of the cottage.

Three were used to decorate the walls: white paint on water based, plaster, reminiscent of the color and texture of concrete, white and anthracite ceramic tiles. The preference was given to the first coating - it visually expands the space, and in addition, it contributes to better illumination of the premises. The use of the second material is very dosed - with its help, the authors of the project emphasized the monumentality of some internal walls and all niches. carefully used and ceramic lining- she was issued kitchen apron and bathrooms. On the floor in the cottage, they laid porcelain stoneware (walk-through rooms and common areas) and a parquet board (bedroom, library). The ceilings were sewn up with euro-lining made of pine, which, in order to remove the excessive yellowness of this type of wood, was covered with a white glazing impregnation.

The heart of the house is the patio. A bonsai pine tree is planted in its center. There is also a Japanese maple in the patio

There are almost no passage areas in the house, similar to traditional corridors.

Trajectories of movement run directly through the representative, working and auxiliary zones

To increase the insolation of the bathroom, upper part the walls between it and the bedroom were glazed

The two-row layout made it possible to place a free-standing bathtub and shower enclosure in a small room.

Any architectural and construction project consists of three parts: architectural, design and engineering. This is a document without which the developer will not receive permission to start construction.

The main part of the project is the architectural and design sections. If the customer is sure that there are intelligent specialists in engineering networks in the construction team, then the development of this part of the project in a specialized company can be abandoned. But it is necessary to understand that the architect, designer and engineer are working on the project together and such moments as, for example, strobes and openings in the walls for laying pipes and wires, are provided by them in advance.

The engineering part of the project is divided into several parts

  • Water supply and sewerage (VK)
  1. water supply scheme
  2. sewerage scheme
  3. general form systems.

Before proceeding with the design, it is necessary to decide what kind of communication will be - individual or connected to centralized system.

Individual water supply gives complete independence from external conditions. But it must be remembered that you will need your own sources of water, and drilling a well will cost a decent amount.

Connecting to a centralized system will require design development in accordance with specifications existing network and obtaining permission for the tie-in.

When connecting a sewer to a centralized system, the procedure is the same as when connecting a water supply: making a request to the relevant services, developing a project, obtaining permission to tie into the system. If you decide to organize an individual sewer system, then from time to time you will have to invite a sewer service.

  • Heating and ventilation (HV)
  1. heating scheme: calculation of the required power of the equipment, distribution schemes for heating mains, location of pipes and radiators
  2. ventilation scheme: binding to power electrical equipment, ventilation communications and shafts, passage nodes and, if necessary, the location of stoves and fireplaces
  3. boiler piping (if necessary)
  4. general instructions and recommendations for the section.

If the ventilation system is always an individual design, then heating can be either individual (stove, air, water, electric), or connected to centralized networks.

  • Power supply (ETR)
  1. lighting layout
  2. wiring of power networks
  3. ASU scheme
  4. grounding system
  5. detailed description and characteristics of all elements of the system.

Electrical systems can be divided into mandatory and optional. Mandatory include indoor and outdoor lighting, ventilation, air conditioning and electric heating systems. Additional systems include such systems as "warm floor" or automated control gate.

IMPORTANT

  • Each part of the engineering section of the project should contain general and technical descriptions, specifications of materials and necessary equipment.
  • Drawings of elements of all systems and floor electrical wiring are made on a scale of 1:100.

Making changes to the project

Often the customer is faced with the question: to choose standard project at home and save money, while losing on the originality of future housing, or order an individual project, but for a lot of money.

Our company offers a compromise option. You order a standard project, and we make changes to it, taking into account all your wishes as much as possible. Of course, this implies additional costs, but, in any case, such a project will cost much less than work for a specific order. And we will make sure that your house looks original.

The following changes can be made to the project of the house:

move wall partitions. But only if they are not carriers. This operation will allow you to change the size and purpose of the rooms.

moving window and door openings will allow you to change the illumination of the rooms and organize convenient access to the rooms you need

changing the type of floors and walls will allow you to fully realize your own ideas about economical and rational housing

change ceiling heights. Although all our houses are designed with an optimal room height of 2.8 m, some customers find high ceilings to be an additional coziness and comfort.

conversion of the attic into a living space will give you the opportunity to expand your own living space

it is worth changing the angle of inclination of the roof and canopies, taking into account the climatic conditions of a particular region

it is necessary to change the type of foundation, taking into account the engineering and geological parameters of the soil. It is also possible to add or change a basement or basement

add, remove, change a garage or a terrace, you can, in accordance with your ideas about the functionality of housing

change structural composition, building and finishing materials will allow you to economically manage your own financial resources

a mirror image project will allow you to organically fit the house into the surrounding landscape.

The changes made should not affect the safety of the home.

Too many changes usually do not improve the project. If you could not choose a suitable house in the catalogs, then it may be worth ordering an individual project from an architect.

Package "Foundation adaptation"

When a typical project of a house is being developed, then some average soil parameters are taken as a basis. But, without having the exact data of the geological expertise, it is difficult to take into account all the nuances in the design. Therefore, often the engineering and geological characteristics of a real site differ significantly from those originally laid down in the project. And this means that the foundation - the basis of the whole house - will need to be finalized in order to make it strong and reliable.

To completely eliminate all problems when laying the foundation, the specialists of our company have developed a package "Adaptation of the foundation". When implementing a package, not only specifications but also the wishes of the customer.

This package includes:

  • choice of foundation type
  • calculation of technical parameters:

Foundation footing depth
- load bearing capacity
- indicators of soil stress under the base of the foundation
- cross-sectional area of the working reinforcement, etc.

  • detailed drawings of the zero cycle
  • cost sheet for building materials.

Adaptation of the foundation gives a full guarantee of its strength, and hence the reliability of the entire building. You are guaranteed to get rid of problems such as shrinkage and cracks during the operation of a finished house. Moreover, often the adapted foundation turns out to be cheaper than the option originally laid down in the project. And this will help save materials and financial resources.

Individual design

If you decide to build a house, then you have your own idea of what your dream home should be like. And if none of the typical projects suits you, it makes sense to think about individual project. In addition, it will take into account all your wishes as much as possible: the level of comfort, family composition, even the view from the window. It is clear that such a project will cost a lot. But you will know for sure that there is no other like it.
Sometimes, however, you have to resort to individual design forcedly. For example, the developer got a plot of land of a non-standard configuration, and not a single standard project simply fits into it. And it also happens that the number of changes made by the customer is such that it is easier and cheaper to design a house from scratch.

Stages of work on an individual project:

  • development of technical specifications for the design of a house
  • contract for design work
  • preparation of a draft design: linking the building to the terrain, external and interior view, layouts, cuts
  • detailed study of sections of the project.

In addition, you can also order:

  • projects additional facilities- garage, workshop, sauna, etc.
  • visualization of the project in 3D format.

Ultimately, the customer receives the package project documentation, consisting of architectural and constructive sections.

The project features:

  • The general plan of the house with its binding to the boundaries of the site.
  • Floor plans, which indicate the thickness of walls, lintels and partitions, the area of \u200b\u200bthe premises, the specification of windows and doorways.
  • Facade plans with indication of finishing materials and color schemes.
  • Sections of the building and main units.
  • Drawings and sections of the foundation, bill of materials.
  • Calculation of the ceiling, roof truss system, roof insulation and waterproofing units.

Package "Tender offer"

For any developer, the question from a cheerful nursery rhyme "what should we build a house ...?" far from idle. Moreover, the cost of building a house depends on many factors. Therefore, you should not estimate the costs "by eye". Without complete information, it will not work to calculate everything to the smallest detail and, in the end, it will cost yourself more. And besides, a careful calculation of the cost of materials and work affects not only your finances, but also the timing of building a house.

You can calculate the construction costs with the utmost accuracy using the "Tender offer" service developed by our specialists. Essentially, this is a document that full list all building materials and works, indicating their volumes.

The presence of a tender offer allows:

  • get a real picture of the costs of upcoming construction
  • attract a construction company that is able to offer the most favorable conditions for the performance of work
  • not only understand the essence of the construction process, but also competently control the consumption of building materials, independently adjusting prices for each item

Package "Anti-ice"

Snowdrifts and ice in the winter on the roof of your house cause a lot of trouble. You can, of course, climb onto the roof and wave a shovel in the cold for 2-3 hours - that's business. But effective snowmelt and anti-icing systems have long been invented and widely used. Their basis is heating cables. The system is organized on the same principle as the "warm floor". Only more powerful and the cable laying step is smaller.

The Anti-Ice package is developed taking into account the peculiarities of the power supply of the house:

for roofs and gutters: snowmelt in gutters, at the edge of the roof in order to prevent the formation of icicles and frost in the pipes

for the entrance group: heating of steps, paths and open areas

for the entrance to the garage: heated driveways

in addition, sometimes the Anti-Ice system is used for heating the soil in greenhouses, and for landscape heating of flower beds, lawns and lawns, as well as for heating sports facilities.

During the design process, it is calculated minimum flow electricity and fire safety. When creating the Anti-Ice system, it is recommended to use only certified self-heating elements that do not support combustion. In addition, the system is equipped with an overtemperature shutdown device or a differential circuit breaker to automatically shut down the system when power loss is detected. If the system is too large, it is divided into smaller sections. This makes it easier to manage her work.

Important:

for a multi-pitched roof, the Anti-Ice system will be designed by specialists of our company on an individual order.

Package "Lightning protection"

Often developers do not give of great importance protection of their own homes from lightning: someone saves, someone thinks, someone hopes for "maybe". But 3-4 years after the construction of the house, many people remember about lightning protection. All household appliances burned down at a neighbor's roofing felts, or statistics about how many fires happen due to lightning a year caught my eye.

We propose to resolve the issue immediately: to provide protection already at the design stage of the house. It is worth thinking about this, if only for purely aesthetic reasons - there will be no need to once again hollow out the walls of the house and pull the down conductor along the facade, violating the well-thought-out appearance building.

Home lightning protection is a system of devices located both outside the home and indoors. External lightning protection prevents lightning from entering the house, internal - protects the electrical network from sudden voltage surges. And special devices protect electrical engineering from sudden changes in the electromagnetic field within the radius of a lightning strike.

  • Price 3 100 rubles.

Package "Central vacuum cleaner"

"Central vacuum cleaner" is a kind of aspiration system(removal of small particles by sucking them in with an air stream).

The system consists of:

  • a vacuum cleaner(installed in the technical room);
  • duct system, along which the dust-air mass moves (more often hidden installation is carried out in the preparation of the floor or in the space behind the false ceiling);
  • pneumosockets and pneumosows(a flexible hose with a telescopic rod and a nozzle is connected to the former, as in a conventional vacuum cleaner, the latter are intended for express cleaning, usually in the kitchen).

Pros:

  • removable dusty no air gets in back into the room, and is “thrown out” after the unit to the street;
  • No noise in clean rooms.
  • Ease of cleaning without "pulling" the vacuum cleaner from room to room, without the use of extension cords.
  • Concealed installation system, there is nothing in the room except a pneumo-socket.

Project price: from 3100 rubles.

Package "Comfortable home"

Explanatory dictionaries claim that comfort is a set of household amenities, without which life is unthinkable.
modern man in modern home. Most of these amenities are laid down at the design stage. But we are ready to expand their list and help clients make their own housing as comfortable as possible.

The other day, my friends sent me to see one interesting house. Rather so. They were interested in the house and they sent it to me to see, evaluate, express their opinion. When I first received the photos and looked at them quickly on my phone, let’s say, I didn’t feel much inspiration and decided that I would look later ... and I did it just today. But... but today I opened all the images on a large monitor and realized that I was wrong. The house is very interesting

The first thing we usually see is the facade. Here everything is usual and does not tell us anything about what will happen next.

But the courtyard pleases us with openness. It is mine. Big square glazing, clear geometric shapes, but the absence of right angles creates a pleasant impression.

In any case, everything in the design project looks light and homely.

And when I saw this part of the building during the installation process, I was convinced that the design of the project and implementation were consistent. Preservation is more common general concept, and the implementation itself loses a lot of detail.

It will be very interesting to look at this building after the end of construction.

But even as it is, I like it.

And from inner space I was immediately enraptured. I like how everything is organized. Due to the unfolded shape, the rooms form a single space and are not the most big house seems huge.

Directly we see the exit to the terrace, and on the left side the future kitchen-living room.

Here is the kitchen and living room. Light and airy.

An interesting solution with a fireplace. It is open both indoors and out onto the terrace. This idea is clearly visible in the first pictures.

Excellent organization of space. I definitely like it.

One more interesting project and from it I will also take something for my project.

Since ancient times, when external world from all sides carried a threat, in order to protect themselves and their families, houses with courtyards were built. It was a place where you can relax, a zone of special comfort for family and friends.

Project one-story house with patio and glass walls

Such indoor outdoor courtyards are sometimes called. The birthplace of the patio is Spain, where the Moorish and are closely intertwined. In Islamic countries, courtyards were the main place for doing business.

There are similar yards in other countries. For example, and . In these countries, indoor tea yards are an attribute of the tea ceremony ─ one of the most important national rituals.

At present, of course, the courtyard no longer has a protective function, but it is still relevant, as it allows the family to escape from the seething outer life and relax in peace and comfort.

IN ordinary life most often when planning a patio, the so-called atrium layout is used. Its meaning is simple - all buildings are built along the perimeter, and a courtyard is laid out on the resulting site.

original patio fencing

Most often, buildings are arranged either in the form of a square or on three sides, while the fourth, free side, is used as an entrance to it. Distinguish between closed and open courtyard.

First of all, it is necessary to draw up a design project for the desired courtyard. Here it is necessary to determine the location of the house, buildings and the courtyard itself. It should be conveniently located and fulfill its original function: to provide the opportunity for solitude from the outside world.

Patio size

The size of the courtyard depends only on your wishes and possibilities. It can be like a tiny courtyard containing only small gazebo for recreation, as well as a large space with diverse buildings.

Functions and purpose

When creating a project, you should also consider what functions the courtyard will perform. If it is supposed to be a gathering place for only a small family, there is no point in making it huge. If in the future it is planned to gather here all the numerous friends, relatives and acquaintances, in order to avoid crowding, it is worth making it large in size.

When developing a project for an open patio, it is necessary to decide on the choice of all the building materials necessary in the construction process. Depending on preferences and possibilities, it can be both artificial and only natural materials.

Arrangement of paths and platforms

When designing paths and platforms, it is necessary to take into account the relief features of the site and the purpose of the paths. When designing, it is necessary to calculate the load acting on the tracks, and in this regard, select the technology and material for their manufacture.

Tracks can be:

  • Rigid. When monolithic concrete is used as a coating;
  • Soft. Where the building material is crushed stone or gravel;
  • Combined. They consist of paving slabs and various bulk materials.

Water facilities

A fountain will look very beautiful and original in such a courtyard. it is worth planning in accordance with the general exterior of the entire courtyard.

In order to cool off a little on a hot summer day, you should think about building a pool on your patio, even small size. by the most simple option when is the purchase and installation of a standard bowl. When buying ready-made bowls, one should not forget about our cold weather. Plastic bowls, as a rule, burst with a sharp change in temperature.

Also, such bowls are contraindicated strong blows. Acrylic bowls are ideal for our area with severe frosts in winter and easily tolerate almost any mechanical impact.

But if there is a desire to build a pool for own project unusual configuration, then you can fill the dug pit, of the selected shape and size, with concrete.

Additionally, you will have to take care of the location of everything necessary complex equipment for pool maintenance, water filtration and drainage.

Gardening of the patio

Developing landscape design patio, to create colorfulness and comfort, you can use vertical gardening around the entire perimeter, placing the so-called vertical terraces of plants.

Such terraces are a rather complex engineering structure assembled on a frame basis. The frame can be made in any shape, depending on the overall pattern of the courtyard. At the entrance, the plants arranged in an arch look very beautiful. They can also be placed on trellises, climbing plants put on bars, or simply place along the walls of the house and at the border of the plots.

The frame for plants can be assembled from any strong improvised material. For this, profiles for mounting drywall systems or an ordinary wooden beam are ideal.

Capillary mats with a system are mounted on top of the frame drip irrigation on which plants are planted. When constructing such a system, it is necessary to correctly select the entire set of plants decorating the courtyard, according to all the necessary parameters.

The use of forged elements in vertical terraces will catch the eye, and the plants located nearby will play a secondary, complementary role.

The construction on the hedge site will allow you to divide the courtyard into parts or become an original partition for separating various functional areas. For example, this is ideal for separating the recreation area from the pool area.

Terraces are usually erected in the spring and removed for the winter. With some effort, it is fashionable to make such terraces with your own hands, but it is still better to turn to specialists for help. Green terraces will add comfort and completeness to the courtyard.
