Eco-house pyramidal shape. house in the shape of a pyramid

IN Lately a lot is being said and written about ecological "green" building, eco-houses and eco-design. These concepts fit perfectly into the concept of an energy efficient home.
Eco-houses are houses that reduce as much as possible Negative influence human life on the environment. Such a house allows you to live in harmony with nature, in a cleaner and more environmentally friendly environment.

Ecohouse is an individual building, which is the most resource-saving, low-waste, healthy and non-aggressive in relation to the natural environment. It has all these qualities not only as a single building, but also as a system - with all communications.

Single pole house. View outside.

Architect-student Konrad Wojcik has developed a project called "Primeval Symbiosis" or "Single Pole House". This is a great attempt to build ecologically clean house in the forest, without violating the integrity of nature.

Single pole house. Concept.

Trees inspired this pyramid structure. they are a self-renewable source of energy, fertilize the soil and purify the air. The house is equipped modern technologies: a heat pump that can receive energy directly from the soil, and a bioreactor that processes various wastes. Eco solutions such as solar panels, LED lighting, systems natural ventilation and collecting rainwater, will allow the house to function almost autonomously from the outside world.

Single pole house. Usage solar panels.

To make the house safe for environment, during its construction, Konrad Wojcik did not use cement and steel supports, but chose a lightweight wooden frame yet strong enough to support the entire structure. Inner lining and furniture are made from environmentally friendly, recyclable materials.

Tourist town project.

This single pole house has living space 61 sq. m. and is designed for 2 people. It consists of 3 rooms: a kitchen and a recreation area. It is assumed that in the future projects of such triangular houses will be implemented as tourist towns in the forest landscape.

IN last years mysterious pyramids were discovered in different parts of the world, indicating that not only the Egyptians created such masterpieces of architecture. Peru, Italy, Indonesia...and now Mexico. Although, no. mexican pyramid, which will be discussed today, is not at all an ancient building, and it does not serve as the tomb of the pharaoh, but as the most ordinary house. Although the definition of “ordinary” is completely inappropriate here - it was possible to design a very high-tech building Juan Carlos Ramos.

If the Polish designer Klaudiusz Golos managed to build, then you should not be surprised that Juan Carlos Ramos created a triangular structure. Pyramid House- this is how the author called his creation, the project of which was developed for one of the architecture competitions. The uncomplicated geometric shape attracted Juan Ramos with its ergonomics: despite the fact that such a layout is simple and convenient, it is rarely used by modern builders. Although, due to its originality, of course, it attracts attention.

The main advantage of this house is the abundance natural light, because the house has four huge windows located on facade walls. One of the windows in the house is almost the entire wall, which visually facilitates the construction, makes it almost weightless, airy. The interior of the house is thought out to the smallest detail: on several floors there are two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. At leisure, you can spend time in the library or recording studio. Inside the building there is a swimming pool, there is a balcony. The architect thought of everything to the smallest detail, so one of the “compartments” of the triangle is reserved for a garage. Perhaps living in such a house is a pleasure!

In a picturesque location an hour and a half drive from Reykjavik, Iceland, there is an amazing house in the shape of a pyramid. Strictly speaking, the house does not consist of one pyramid, but of two at once, connected by a common hall. This amazing specimen modern architecture fits surprisingly well into the Icelandic mountain scenery. Customer unusual project represents the international company airbnb, which specializes in renting real estate. And no wonder - the pyramid house was created exactly as country cottage for relax.

A small two-room building can comfortably accommodate one family, for a large number he is not good for guests. But given the secluded location of the house, it will be appreciated by those who most of all desire solitude in an unusual place away from the city and scurrying people. There is a small playground near the house where you can have breakfast outdoors at a small table, and then go for a walk around the neighborhood without going into the house. If someone doesn't like bright sun, then with reverse side at home there is a larger playground, which is better hidden from prying eyes and from the sun's rays.

Inside, the Pyramid House is furnished as a very ordinary modern home with a minimalist style with a Swedish touch. If it were not for the unusual vaults overhead, then this house could be considered the most ordinary, but this is the highlight - for all its simplicity, the house remains the most unique. Unusual triangular windows with a panoramic view make the interior of the house futuristic, and small rectangular windows add some natural light where it is most needed. Every corner here is decorated simply and functionally.

Particular attention in minimalism is paid to free space as a tool that emphasizes the importance of individual details. In this home, designers have benefited from minimalism double or even triple the benefits. Firstly, a minimalist interior that is able to provide sufficient comfort always looks good beyond time and cultural restrictions. Secondly, the free space in the pyramid house emphasizes its true geometric shape, which otherwise could not be seen behind all sorts of lampshades and tapestries. Third, strong geometric shapes untainted by small features Everyday life look monumental and it will help to make a lasting impression on anyone who visits here at least once. Oh yes, and all this with a total area of just over sixty square meters.

Inspired by the experience of past millennia, architects continue to build pyramids around the world. Sky-pointing polyhedrons are sometimes still credited with amazing properties and hidden meaning. There are not so many pyramid-shaped buildings in Belarus. They may look rather strange, but they bring at least some variety to the often dull urban landscapes.

1. Tomb in Uzda

Many ancient princely tombs are scattered all over Belarus. Some of them were built in the Egyptian manner - in the form of pyramids. The largest one (the height of a three-story house!) has been preserved in the cemetery in the city of Uzda, Minsk Region - the tomb of representatives of the ancient Belarusian family of Zawishes. The stone structure is over 200 years old and still stands strong despite the absence of any conservation whatsoever.

The crypt in the lower part of the tomb was completely plundered, the niches where the coffins were walled up were devastated. The altar and all the interior decoration disappeared without a trace.

At the top of the pyramid was a small secret room. According to rumors, secret services were held there and Masons gathered.

2. House-pyramid in Nalibokskaya Pushcha

Most of the Belarusian pyramids are either ancient ritual structures or modern “glass pieces”. But there are extremely few residential buildings in the form of a pyramid. We found one of them 60 kilometers from Minsk, in the Nalibokskaya Pushcha.

A two-story house, the roof of which is also its walls, was built on the territory of the farmstead "Terraski".

- This right pyramid measuring 10 by 10 meters. Walls half a meter high were placed at the base, and a roof was already mounted on them,- told us in the estate. - Why pyramid? For us, this is not just architecture, but a symbol of the harmony of man and nature, body and mind.

The pyramid in "Terraski" was created for holding seminars and trainings related to spiritual development. On the first floor there is a spacious hall, and on the second - three small rooms for rest and lodging.

- One day a group of yogis led by their guru came to us. These guys were specifically looking for a pyramid all over Belarus. They sat in a circle and "shamanized". The most interesting thing is that at that moment two cats climbed onto the roof of the house and did not want to go down from there for a long time,- says Olga, art manager of the estate. - According to my feelings, there is some kind of energy in the pyramid. Several times I happened to spend the night there, and each time I could not relax. There was an emotional upsurge.

3. Belarusian "Egypt"

Belarus has its own "Switzerland" (near Logoisk), its own "Maldives" (chalk quarries near Volkovysk). Indefatigable travelers even found the Belarusian "Scandinavia" in the outback of Polessie. And in 2012, the Belarusian "Egypt" appeared on the banks of the Dvina - this is how three pyramids are sometimes jokingly called next to the summer amphitheater in Vitebsk.

The largest pyramid made of glass and concrete reaches a height of 26 meters (almost like a nine-story house), the other two - 14 meters each. All of them are combined into the largest shopping and entertainment complex in Vitebsk "Marco City". His total area- almost like 8 football fields.

In the evenings, the illumination of the pyramids is lit, and the Vitebsk "Egypt" begins to resemble the National Library.

4. Greenhouse of the Botanical Garden

Among the Minsk polyhedrons, the main greenhouse of the Central botanical garden, made in the form of a glass octagonal pyramid. The building, opened in 2007, is crowned with a transparent dome and reaches a height of 18 meters.

Inside - year-round summer and blooming collections of exotic plants.

Not only lovers of botany visit the greenhouse. Since its opening, it has become one of the popular places for wedding photo shoots.

5. Residential building near Brest

Another residential building in the form of a pyramid is located a 15-minute drive from Brest in the village of Cherni. It is easy to spot from a distance on the high gabled roof.

- We bought this house together with the neighboring one, and another person built it before us. He wanted to create an agricultural estate. At one time, the "pyramid" really gave up for tourists, but now it is ordinary house, - the mistress of the house Evgenia told us.

The walls of the first floor are straight, built according to classical technology. But the attic is made in the form of a triangle. The roof is lengthened by massive overhangs reaching the ground - due to this, the house really looks like a pyramid.

- We did not notice any energy fields and any oddities. Our friend has been living on the first floor of this house for two years. He doesn't complain about anything.- said the hostess.

6. Gomel twins

About seven years ago, another regional center of Belarus, Gomel, acquired its pyramids. "Glass" twins stand opposite each other on opposite sides of the main city street Sovetskaya. And right below them is an underground pedestrian crossing.

A mobile equipment store operates in one pyramid. The second one is under renovation. Soon there will open a communication salon.

7. Mysterious forest pyramid

In the Rogachevsky district, in the forest, not far from the Pridneprovsky sanatorium, there is a low concrete pyramid with a truncated top. Which architect erected it here, when and why is a mystery. Surely historians and local historians are racking their brains over it. The structure does not look like a pedestal for a monument, even more so, like a tomb.

Fans of the fortification suggested that the "sanatorium" pyramid is nothing more than a German anti-tank gouge, installed by the Nazis in 1943. Similar concrete blocks were dug into the ground to stop the advance of the tanks. There are only inconsistencies. Nadolbs were placed in dense rows, and there are no other such gizmos in the vicinity of Pridneprovsky. Yes, and the size of the pyramid is too large for an anti-tank gouge.

8. Pyramid at the Minsk City Hall

In 1901, the first sculptural monument in Minsk appeared on this very spot, in the center of Cathedral Square. Tsar Alexander II, who abolished serfdom and brutally suppressed the popular uprising of 1863-1864, was immortalized in bronze on a high pedestal. Soon after the events of 1917, the heroes of revolutionary everyday life replaced the tsar. Then the square was decorated with a fountain with a statue of an athlete, after the Great Patriotic War- figured vases. Unfortunately, these small architectural forms have not been preserved to this day. Now in the center of the square rises a transparent "glass" in the form of a pyramid. Light penetrates through it into one of the underground halls of the city hall rebuilt from scratch.

9. Pyramid near the department store "Belarus"

In those distant times, when the grass was greener, lush trees grew between the department store "Belarus" and Partizansky Prospekt. In the early nineties, stall trade flourished here. The appearance of the square was changed by large-scale construction works associated with the construction of the Partizanskaya metro station and underground shopping center. The area was later improved paving slabs and lawns. A blue glass pyramid appeared in the center. In addition to aesthetic, it also has a functional purpose - it allows sunlight to pass into the underpass.

The history of architecture has repeatedly resorted to the exploitation of the symbolic power of the pyramid. In the era of classicism, at the end of the 18th century, the use of the pyramid served as a semantic message to the great achievements of Rome and Roman Egypt. In the nineteenth century, the pyramids took over the minds of the Masons. In the twentieth century, the pyramid again became popular in architecture. First used by its architect Chinese origin Bei Yuming Pei at the reconstruction of the Louvre in Paris. Now this pyramid is called “Pyramid of the Louvre”. The meaning of this idea is clear and captivating, a contrasting clash of eras: the baroque of the Louvre and "Egypt" in the form of a "crystal" pyramid, that is, the technology of the new time. This is one of the first examples in high-tech architecture, that is, high-tech architecture.

What do we have today with the pyramids in Belarus? The pyramid, as a space-planning element, in my opinion, has no rational meaning. If we consider the pyramid as an extension of the roof of the house, then we must compare the rationality of the vertical wall and the sloping wall. In such a comparison, of course, vertical wall wins. Under the inclined bevel, the usable area disappears and it is impossible to approach the window. A sort of attic on the ground, with all the ensuing costs. Sometimes abroad, the sloping surface of the roof is increased to the ground in order to install solar panels, so that the angle of the wall to the sun is more favorable.

But in the presented Belarusian objects there is no functional need in the form of a pyramid and there are no solar panels on an inclined surface. So there is a symbolic meaning. But is it so convincing and so appropriate? It may be objected that this is such an image of the building. But the symbol used as an image is dead. What then? Just a pointless imitation? The desire to try on the glory of the architect Pei? Yes, probably.
