Frame house 6x6 with a veranda. Cons of frame buildings

0 ratings

No construction technology can be called ideal in all respects. Each has advantages and disadvantages, and when choosing a method of building a house, it is necessary to pay attention to precisely those parameters that are most important. But frame technology can be called one of the best construction options low-rise buildings in terms of price and quality.

Using frame technology, you can quickly and inexpensively build a cozy and comfortable warm house, avoiding the occurrence of difficulties in the process of construction and its subsequent operation. Many people prefer small houses, that's why professional designers and architects are ready to offer you a project frame house 6x6 with layout. But you can achieve the correct and convenient location of the premises in another way - experts will help you draw up a special house project according to your wishes. This will make it possible to maximize the useful area of the building in relation to its total area exactly the way you want.

Features and Benefits

A 6 by 6 frame house is ideal for a family of 4-5 people. Moreover, if the house is one-story, then in terms of content and layout it is very similar to the usual one-room apartment. In this case, the area of the premises is quite limited and allows two or three people to comfortably stay in them at the same time, but no more.

But since construction does not end with the construction of the foundation and walls, in most cases such structures are equipped with an attic that combines an additional floor and roofing system. This allows you to significantly increase the useful area of the house.

Also, the organization of a spacious veranda contributes to an increase in the total area, the cost of erecting which is significantly lower than the price of the building itself. This can be explained by the fact that the veranda is usually an unheated room, operated in the warm season, which does not require the use of heavy building materials and extra insulation.

An essential advantage of any frame-panel house 6x6, made of timber, is the use of only solid elements in its construction. This will reduce the number of gaps between the bars, and hence the need for their insulation. Such a house will be warm and comfortable for life at any time of the year.

The dimensions of the 6x6 house are quite compact when placed on the site, which will provide the opportunity to use the remaining space for organizing recreational areas or for any other purpose.

Frame house 6x6 one-story

A one-story 6x6 frame house is a square structure that contains all the necessary premises for people to live. The area of each room will allow you to arrange all the furniture required for everyday life. A 6 by 6 one-story house can be equipped with rooms with the following dimensions (example in the photo below):

    3 m² - vestibule or hallway;

    1.5 m² - bathroom;

    13.5 m² - kitchen combined with living room;

9 m² - each of the bedrooms.

A small, but at the same time sufficient area of each room, the absence of corridors and various nooks and crannies that are not used, allows you to use all the space available in the house to good use.

Disadvantages and features of the distribution of space in a one-story frame house 6x6

The limitation of indoor space is the most significant disadvantage one-story frame house. To ensure availability own room for each tenant, if there are more than four, the area of the premises must be reduced to a minimum. That is why such houses are more often chosen by families of two or three people, the residence of this number of people in such an area is still comfortable. If there are already four people in the family, then living in a 6x6 house will be crowded, and given the visits of guests and relatives, it will periodically cause increased discomfort.

Considering the fact that large quantity time people will be in the living room, its space must be made as large as possible. Individual rooms are usually used only for sleeping, so it is not necessary to make them too spacious.

Despite the size of the room, the presence of a window opening in it is prerequisite only in this case, sunlight and fresh air can enter the room, which positively affects the well-being and mood of people.

Review the frame house 6x6, see the video:

Sanitary unit in one-story houses 6x6 is best done combined, that is, a bath or shower should be located in the same room as the toilet. In order to reduce the area required for plumbing fixtures and increase free space the best option will use a compact shower cabin instead of a bulky bathtub. Wherein household appliances(a washing machine, for example), which many people are accustomed to placing in bathrooms, it is better not to install it in the bathroom, as this will cause even more constraint when you are in it.

On our website you can find contacts of construction companies that offer. You can directly communicate with representatives by visiting the exhibition of houses "Low-Rise Country".

Two-story houses 6x6: layout features

Choosing a two-story frame house 6 by 6, projects can be reviewed for a long time, because this design gives more possibilities with regards to housing planning. Projects of houses with two floors differ from each other in the number of rooms, their location and many other parameters. Two-story 6x6 houses are the most the best option for a family of four or more, compared with a one-story structure.

The cost of a two-story frame house will be higher than a one-story one, because, in fact, you will have to build two 6x6 houses, only on one foundation and with one roof. Significant costs will go to the stairs. But do not be upset, because the house will be framed, which means that the foundation for it, and the structure itself as a whole, will cost much less than a building, for example, made of bricks.

Frame layout two-story house often involves the location of the premises common use on the ground floor, as a rule, it is an entrance hall or a hall, a living room, a kitchen and WC. The placement of the bathroom on the ground floor is explained not only by the fact that the guests who come to the house will use the room, but also by the cost of the communication system.

The second floor most often consists of rest rooms for family members, guest rooms in which relatives and friends will periodically stay. Personal Area is also better placed on top floor. If desired, a second bathroom is made on the second floor.

The balcony, though not required attribute two-story house, but its presence greatly increases the comfort of living. It is on the balcony that you can plant flowers in the summer, arrange a comfortable place for reading on fresh air and enjoy stunning sunset views.

Frame houses 6 by 6 with an attic

The main advantage of a 6x6 frame house with an attic is an increase in usable area at almost the same cost as one-story housing. The attic is not full floor, and its enclosing structures are combined with the roof. Most of expenses will be spent only on increasing the area of the roof and on finishing the internal walls.

How to effectively plan a 6x6 frame house with an attic

Often, a 6 by 6 house with an attic, as well as a two-story one, provides that all common areas will be located on the first floor, including a bathroom, and lounges on the second. The disadvantage is the height of the ceilings in the rooms located on the attic floor, it will be lower than in the main part of the house.

Video description

An overview of the frame house with an attic, see the video:

The height of the ceilings throughout the attic area will be variable - more in the center of the floor and less towards the edge. This can lead to some difficulties when performing finishing works, as well as in the future when choosing furniture for the premises. In this case, the rooms will have to be filled with furniture according to individual sizes.

Another example of the location of the stairs in frame house 6x6 with attic

The project of a 6x6 frame house with an attic, as well as a two-story one, should provide for the presence of a staircase. Therefore, when creating interior layout do not forget that the ladder should be located in the most convenient place for use.

The procedure for the construction of a frame house 6x6

Foundation construction

Depending on the swampiness of the soil, the chosen project of a 6x6 m house, it is worth choosing one or another type of foundation:

  1. Columnar - suitable for non-problematic soil.
  2. Tape and pile-grillage - for multi-storey construction or a house project with an attic.

Column Foundation from bottom harness.

It is recommended to let the poured foundation dry - 2-3 weeks in summer period or several months in the autumn-winter, having previously covered the foundation of a 6x6 frame house with polyethylene. The depth of the foundation will depend on the climatic characteristics, the swampiness of the soil, the number of storeys of construction or the presence of an attic from the frame, the future load on the floor and foundation.

Foundation waterproofing

With the help of liquid bitumen and roofing material and the installation of the first crown, on which they will be attached. Properly selected material will not allow the strapping crowns to rot and prevent foundation cracks.

Installation of strapping and floor insulation

According to the project of the house, 6 by 6 m are installed with the appropriate step of the strapping board of the future house. The selected insulation is laid - economical foam or fire-resistant ecowool. On top of the insulation, the floor of a frame house is laid, made of boards or plywood.

Pie wall frame construction.

Installation of racks and walls

The length of the racks will depend on the height of the room, the number of storeys and the presence of an attic according to the project of a frame house. Optimal value ceilings in the room - 2.5 m. The walls of the frame house are installed either from OSB boards or ready-made modules with elements of insulation and decoration.

Floor installation

When building a second floor or attic, it is required additional insulation and strengthening the ceiling of the first floor. The construction of additional floors or their thickening, so that the house can withstand the increased load.

Installation of the roof of a frame house 6x6

The installation of racks and rafters depends on the chosen roof option - gable or complex-pitched. If the attic is residential, its additional insulation is also necessary. The choice of material for the roof depends entirely on the financial capabilities of the customer. Can be provided as inexpensive option, and the material corresponding original project future frame. Photos of 6x6 houses on the Internet will show all the diversity, not only roofing materials, but also all kinds of roofing projects.

Basalt wool in insulation.

Review

I express my deepest gratitude construction company"Brus-House", manager Alexander and a construction team from Nizhny Novgorod: Sergey, Alexei, Maxim, for our house - Frame country house D-1 one-story 6x8 with a terrace (Built on 10/21/2018). The team is very conscientious about their work. The work was done perfectly in terms of quality, they met the deadlines clearly, there were no problems and disagreements with the builders, because people are decent and responsible, promptly resolved all the issues that arose! I was very satisfied with the services provided, while not spending a lot of money and nerves))) The house turned out beautiful.

Sincerely,

Alexey and Alexandra

Feedback on the construction of a frame house D-1 (6 * 8)

The construction of the house was scheduled for September 27th. The car with the material and the team drove in on the morning of September 28. At the same time, no one called in advance, I had to find out myself.

The construction went on for 18 days, of which 3 days the builders were without work (there was no material). With logistics, the company does not seem to be doing well. Since everything cannot be taken away in one car, there should be a second delivery, but there was no free car. Before the arrival of the KAMAZ, the head himself came 2 times and brought the necessary materials.

Well, the weather was unlucky, after a week of dry weather, let's go heavy rains. I was satisfied with the brigade (Pavel, Mikhail and Dmitry). They did not extort money, they did not impose additional services. They simply offered their services in the form of electricians, to sheathe the basement with siding. I will rate the quality of what they built at 4. Not without jambs, of course, but the jambs are insignificant and I turned a blind eye to them. The most important thing is how the winter will last and what will happen in the spring. In general, in a year it will be clear.

Too bad you can't attach pictures of the house.

PS. If the logistics are put in order, then everything will be in order.

Project D1

I am writing this review after almost 2 years of construction. The house of the D1 project was built in exactly 14 days, the builders always worked, at what time I would not come without warning. I redid it inside for myself, slightly enlarged the veranda. I drew a plan, the builders completed everything to a single centimeter. The height of the ceilings was increased to 2.4 m, the insulation was 100, the outer skin was imitation timber. Very satisfied with the work. During this time, nothing has broken anywhere, the windows and doors are in place. Plastic windows and good Russian steel door cost a ridiculous price. I painted it myself, it turned out to be a wonderful house, very cozy, stylish, I always really want to come to the dacha as soon as possible :) Thank you very much for your work!
