Summer is coming, holidays. How to organize leisure for children in nature, in the country, in the countryside? Making our own playground!
In summer, most parents try to take their children out of dusty, gassed cities into nature. If you spend the summer months in the country with your children, then you need to make sure that summer rest was not only for their benefit, but also for their joy. So that the child does not get bored in the country, make a playground for him with your own hands. It will require very little material investment plus your time and imagination. Be sure to involve the children themselves in the creation of the playground. Firstly, joint work helps to unite the family, strengthen relations between parents and children, and, secondly, the design of the playground is a creative activity that will be useful for general development child.

You can sprinkle the beetle with dry sand, and then watch how it gets out of it. On wet sand it is interesting to draw pictures with a stick, write letters.
Making a children's sandbox with your own hands is not difficult at all. First of all, you need to choose a suitable place for it. The sandbox should not be in the sun, but at the same time, a too dark, damp place is not suitable for it. If the child is still small, the sandbox should be near the house so that the baby is always in your sight.
You can fence off the sandbox with the help of logs, stumps, boards. If the sandbox is large enough, you can break it into several play areas(see photo below).

2. Playgrounds for giving. Pools

Remember the main rule: the playground should be safe. "Exclusive" in the form of a color stained-glass window so popular now for decoration landscape design, a deep reservoir with "gold" fish or decorative electric lamps located within the reach of children is not allowed. Build a playground away from thorny bushes, greenhouses and outbuildings, arranging it so that part of it is in the shade for several hours a day - it’s harmful for kids to be in the sun for a long time. How to start creating a playground

A little about safety
- At least 2 m of free space must be left in front and behind the swing.
- It is better to close the “amusement park” for kids with a soft cover (lawn, synthetic coating etc). Children move a lot and often fall, so it is advisable to protect them from possible injuries.
- All embedded parts of the site (supports for slides, swings, houses and other structures) deepen into the ground by at least 0.5 m and strengthen well (concrete, fasten with metal "crutches" - any reliable methods will do).
- Each wood detail on the playground must be carefully sanded and covered with winter-resistant paint or varnish.
- The dimensions of structures (swings, slides, sandboxes, etc.) are commensurate with the age of the child. For example, for a kid from 2 to 5 years old, the size of the sandbox is 1.7x1.7 m, slides and swings - up to 1.5 m. For children of primary school age, the slide is usually made 2.5 to 3.5 m high, and the swing - from 2.5 m.

Their height is 3.5 m. Similar design requires serious strengthening of the supports - deepen them into the ground by 0.5 - 0.7 m and fill with concrete. For the supporting elements of the swing, use a bar (6 pcs) with a size of at least 5x5 cm. At the very beginning of work, bolt the rack bars on both sides of the swing. You will get two strong supports; connect them on top with a beam. Prepare sockets for connections in advance (see figure). The side ladder may well serve not only to serve the swing, but also for older children to play, so make comfortable wide steps on it with a step of 20-25 cm.
Sandbox
We will make a simple sandbox, for example, such as in this figure:
I talked in detail about the construction of the sandbox, so now I will only briefly recall the main points.
- To build a sandbox (see photo of the drawing above), you will need 10 thick (from 2 cm) boards 1.8 m long.
- At the construction site of the sandbox, we remove the soil by 25-30 cm, make a recess in the center and fill the bottom with drainage material (you can use pebbles or crushed stone).
- For each side of the sandbox, two boards will go. They are fastened simply: grooves are cut along the edges (as shown in the figure), and to secure the structure, 30 cm high bars are installed along the ends of the sandbox. and a battlefield for toy soldiers - depending on your kid's imagination.
- We paint in bright colors.
- Everything - the sandbox is ready.
Slide
Probably, not a single playground in the country can do without a convenient slide.I note that it is not so easy to make a safe children's slide yourself. Here it is necessary to take into account a lot of nuances: carefully polish the surface, strengthen the supports well, provide for strong railings and sides.
Therefore, I advise you to still purchase a factory product - fortunately, the choice on sale is huge! And if you still decide to build a slide with your own hands, then at least buy a ready-made slope for it.

Children often like to retire, so it’s a good idea to complement playgrounds with a house, even if it’s very small.
For older children, you can raise the house higher.
