Sale of large-sized. Planting large trees Planting large trees meter planting

Each person has his own image of a personal garden located in the backyard.

Some dream of chic and majestic flower beds, only from perennials, while others want to see their garden, consisting only of trees and shrubs. Moreover, the latter do not want to wait until small seedlings become adult plants, which is solved by acquiring large-sized trees.

However, it is worth knowing some information about such large-sized ones. This is its species diversity, methods, planting dates, and, most importantly, the cost of the material and services provided.

Species diversity of large trees

An experienced gardener knows that large-sized trees are quite mature plants (2-10 (14) m.), Which are distinguished by a fairly developed root system (at least 100 liters of volume in the soil) and a well-formed crown.

Their main advantage lies in the ability to quickly restore the old garden, its reconstruction. You can also quickly create a projected landscape design.

By planting large-sized planting material, the following results can be achieved:

1.Beautiful alley , with correctly taken into account the distance when planting;

2. Tapeworm on the territory - a certain bright accent that attracts all-round attention;

3.Groups - contrasting and harmonious, with or without dominance.

Before such beauty is created, it is necessary to decide on specific species.

Therefore, depending on the method of implementation, the following 3 types are distinguished:

1. Large sizes with 100% survival rate by growing in special containers. This is a fairly new technology that can be proud of its quality and excellent results. The production of such plants has been established in Poland and Germany. Despite all the advantages, the high price is the only drawback.

2. Survival rate is about 80% available in large-sized material with 2 types of root systems: closed or open. Particular attention should be paid to such plants in the first year of planting.

3. The most common type are large-sized with a frozen lump . Such plants are grown in special conditions, which becomes a guarantee of high and strong immunity.

Large-sized trees amaze with their species diversity.

Landscaping of a suburban area can be carried out by 2 groups of plants:

1. Deciduous large-sized (for example, Norway maple, large-leaved linden, small-leaved, large-sized fruit trees - domestic apple tree, prickly plum).

2. Coniferous large-sized (for example, spruce, prickly, Siberian pine, cedar, western thuja, juniper, various types and varieties of cypress).

All this indicates that any gardener on his site will be able to plant such large-sized plants that best suit his taste. After all, their diversity is very wide, which is only surprising.

The main methods of planting large trees and their timing

There are several basic landing methods, which are carried out manually or using specific specialized equipment. Each of them has its own characteristics.

For example, the simplest option is planting large-sized plants with a special machine, but this is not gentle for the plant itself, which cannot be said about planting the material manually, using small-sized equipment.

But a lot still depends on the site itself. For example, if the landscape design contains a large percentage of landscaping (all kinds of tree and shrub groups), which may indicate the absence of detours, then large vehicles will not be able to reach a specific place. In this case, only the manual method of planting or transplanting the material will remain.

As for the timing, they are standard for all plants - spring or autumn.. But there is both winter planting and summer planting, carried out only by large-sized trees with a clod of earth.

In this case, there are some features of such events, namely:

- Preference is given to the winter season, because the transportation of wood is simplified. In this case, the lump will remain intact in a frozen state, which will not cause him any harm. There is only one drawback - this is the preparation of the landing pit itself due to the frozen ground. But even this is not a problem nowadays.

- In the summer, after planting, special attention is paid to abundant watering, manual pruning of leaves, their treatment with substances that increase survival rate and stimulate growth. Direct pruning of the crown is carried out to improve the growth of the root system.

There is also a peculiarity in the transportation of the seedling itself. The lump must be well packed up to the planting process. If some large-sized plants are transplanted during the same period, then all of the above activities are also mandatory.

Main cost categories for large trees

As noted above, the most expensive are large-sized woody plants grown in containers. The organization that sells the goods, in any case, must provide only high-quality material, thanks to which it can keep its high brand.

You can buy large-sized trees in specialized garden centers or in country nurseries. Usually a specific price list is provided, or an independent inspection of the proposed plants is possible. The last one can boast of any nursery, in which the prices will be the most reasonable, and the choice is wider and richer.

The price of trees also depends on the height and on the decorative qualities. For example, an ordinary pine of 2 meters will cost approximately 10,000 rubles, but a 7-meter one will cost about 19-20 thousand. All coniferous large-sized trees are in the same category.

The cost of some deciduous plants ranges from 8 thousand to 18 thousand rubles, also depending on their height and decorativeness. Paying attention to fruit large-sized, 5-10 years of age, you can see that their price will fluctuate within 20 thousand rubles.

It remains to note the cost of the service for transplanting or planting large-sized plants. Technology plays a significant role here, as well as the number of trees themselves. On average, for one unit you have to pay about 7,500 rubles. - this is for the smallest seedling in height, less decorative.

The best guarantee of a beautiful suburban area is high-quality and beautiful plant material. And if large-sized woody plants act in its role, then a successful result will be quickly and simply ensured.

FAQ on frequently asked questions

When are large plants planted?
The optimal time for planting Russian planting material is autumn-winter. First of all, this is due to the fact that at the time of excavation of the plant, the soil must be frozen. The formation of a high-quality coma (the root system with the soil surrounding it) is the key to the survival of the plant. Violation of the size, packaging rules (burlap + mesh) is a clear sign of poor quality planting material. Such plants, very often can be seen in garden centers "by the road", in most cases such plants do not wake up after winter. Pay attention to the size of the coma of our plants in the photo below.

- In autumn, you can plant plants up to 3-5 meters high, all other high-altitude positions - in winter (January-February)
- German trees are large-sized April-November.

What is better domestic or German trees?
As for domestic:

Such trees differ in their size from 3 to 15 meters. All these plants feel great in our conditions, and of course, have a lower cost. In terms of planting, domestic planting material is more laborious in planting, as they have a large coma size. For reference: Spruce 5-6 meters high weighs 800-900 kg compared to 150-200 kg. with foreign. In most cases, landing takes place using special equipment.

Trees have a better crown, as the plant has been cared for for decades. In addition, there is a constant formation of the root system, thus planting is greatly simplified, and in addition, the survival rate is 20% higher, since the root system is not injured. The most important plus is a wide range of deciduous and coniferous species, including the presence of formed plants.

When creating gardens, we combine domestic and German planting material. This ensures the creation of more complex and interesting gardens.

Do you plant trees with a guarantee?
For all our work, we give a guarantee (from 1 to 3 years) subject to the conclusion of a contract for warranty service. Warranty service is understood as the whole complex of care works necessary for the plant to take root and develop. Landing of large-sized plants with a guarantee is one of the main services of LENOTR-PARK.

Is it better to use German or Russian planting material?
As we wrote a little higher, when creating our gardens, we try to combine domestic and German planting materials. Plants such as spruce, common pine, cedar are better to buy in Russia, since it is not advisable to bring these plants from Germany. Also very often in our practice we use deciduous plants - maple, small-leaved linden, horse chestnut, red oak, mountain ash. These plants can be safely used when plants with a natural crown shape are required, but if the project provides for the use of shaped plants, then this is only germanium. These plants include lindens shaped like cubes, columnar oaks, trellis apple trees, etc.

Please note that German planting material is present in most nurseries in Moscow and the region. But as a rule, these are small trees and shrubs. German krupnomer potter only under the order.

Do you provide delivery?
Our company has its own logistics department, we deliver both domestic and foreign plants. During the season, our trucks leave for loading 3-4 times in Germany.

Planting large-sized trees (trees from five to six meters high with a well-developed crown) has long been used in. In Russia, large-sized plants began to be planted more than 400 years ago. Since then, new opportunities have appeared, including technical ones, which greatly facilitate the transportation and transplantation of trees.

People of the 21st century, tired of asphalt, concrete and fuss, strive to create around themselves at least a small island of wildlife, a place where it is easy to breathe, and the eye rests on lush greenery. For this reason, an increasing number of people are interested in the opportunity to land large-sized trees on their site.

What is important to know about large trees

Treat the choice of plants with all responsibility. There are several factors to consider when choosing:

- Particular attention is paid to the chemical composition of the soil, climate humidity, seasonality, average, maximum and minimum air temperatures in different periods.

- A special moment is the illumination, what plants you plan to plant in the future, additional buildings that you plan to build on the site, and so on.

- First of all, this concerns introducers - large-sized plants planted outside the natural habitat. The farther a plant is from its range, the more difficult it will be for it to take root in a new place.

- One of the most important points, since it is easy to forget about it, and there can be many problems later. It is necessary to leave a margin of space before communications than to find out one day that the root system is tightly intertwined with pipes and wires.

Remember that communications are not only from below, but also from above. Planting cedar under or near wires is a bad idea, even if they appear to be high up.

Optimal landscaping includes two types of trees: those that grow in a given climatic zone, as well as those that complement and decorate the composition.

Winter planting of large trees - at this time, all the processes taking place in the tree are greatly slowed down, which ensures the safest transportation and transplantation. In winter, the ground, as a rule, freezes deeply, which creates additional difficulties. They can be dealt with only with the help of special equipment.

Planting coniferous large-sized

Planting a cedar, reaching 5-6 meters - it is very difficult. In addition to the obvious problems with delivery and landing, there are many subtleties that are extremely difficult to understand. When planting large trees on your own, there is a high risk that the tree will not take root in a new place.

Pine planting, is carried out in such a way that the neck of the root (the place where the root passes into the trunk) remains at the level of the soil. It should be borne in mind that the soil after planting tends to sag.

The landing hole should be about twice the size of the earthen clod. According to GOST, at least 20 centimeters on each side. First, a layer of drainage is laid in it, 20 cm thick. Drainage is required only in cases where clay predominates. After that, a pillow is made of soil.

A fertile mixture for planting coniferous trees is acidic (pH 4.5 - 5.5). In order to achieve the correct proportions, you need to mix sand, peat and soddy soil in a ratio of 1:2:2. In order to help the tree take root, you can use complex fertilizers.

spruce planting, or any other large size, will necessarily end with the creation of wire fasteners that support the plant until it takes root. To prevent the wire from injuring the barrel, make soft clamps.

Planting deciduous large-sized

Planting deciduous large-sized trees has a number of features. The most important thing is that the root neck should remain at a height of 15 - 20 cm above the soil level. Hardwoods have different acidity requirements.

Planting coniferous large-sized trees has the same feature. After landing, it is necessary to install stretch marks, since the clod with the earth has not yet had time to take root.

In place of the landing hole, leave a small depression, which is called the near-stem circle. This is necessary so that the water remains near the plant, and does not spread to the sides. Water a freshly planted plant regularly, pouring 30-40 liters at a time.

World of plants and trees | №5 (68) "2012

Domestic and foreign nurseries today offer a diverse range of large-sized conifers. But the purchase is only the beginning, the tree still needs to be properly planted.

Our correspondent asked questions to Igor Yangutov, a forestry and landscaping engineer with more than 10,000 large-sized objects in his background, and Mikhail Skvaznikov, a landscape architect, candidate of biological sciences.

Corr.: I propose to immediately decide what will be understood as large-sized.

I. Yangutov| Krupnomer is a conditional concept. This is the name of mature, mature trees with a trunk diameter of more than 8 cm and a developed crown.

M. Skvaznikov| A tree or shrub can be considered a large size not at all at the moment when it has grown to a certain mark in footage. First of all, these are mature trees with a well-formed crown and a developed root system located in a soil volume of at least 100 liters.

Corr.: How significant is the number of transfers?

I. Yangutov| Ideally, when the tree has been replanted. It should be noted right away that there are domestic large trees, as a rule, they have no more than 3 transplants, and foreign, from European nurseries, the number of transplants of an adult tree can reach up to 8. Thanks to multiple transplants, the plant develops a powerful and compact root system, which allows large trees to better settle down in a new place. Now the culture of transplants is at a good level in European nurseries. If we take, for example, a Christmas tree from a Russian nursery, then at a height of 8–10 m, its earthen ball is 2–2.20 m, and for a Christmas tree from a European nursery, transplanted several times, the lump is only 1.5–1.7 m .

But if you need to plant a tree from 6 m and above, then, from my point of view, it is worth stopping at the local material. The fact is that the larger the size of the tree, the higher the cost of transportation, and the older the plant, the more difficult it is to transplant, which in any case is stressful for it.

Corr.: When is it better to plant large trees?

I. Yangutov| It all depends on the height of the large plant that you want to plant. For a tree with a trunk diameter greater than 20 cm, winter planting is desirable. And the bulk of domestic large-sized plants are transplanted in winter. There are two types of landing of large-sized plants: with a frozen lump - at negative temperatures and with an unfrozen lump - at the rest of the time, excluding periods when the average daily temperature rises above 20 ° C.

The main thing with any transplant is to keep the earthen ball of the appropriate size as much as possible. When a plant is replanted with a frozen ball, it is possible to transport a large tree with a ball that can weigh up to 9 tons without damage. This method has many advantages, but it also has some disadvantages. Harvesting, transportation and planting of the material must take place at a temperature not lower than -15 ° C, otherwise severe damage to the branches of the crown occurs, and it is also necessary to ensure that there is no excessive frostbite of the roots of the earthen clod. As practice shows, in most cases with a frozen lump it is possible to transplant zoned material from nurseries in Russia and neighboring countries. European planting material coming from nurseries of a different climatic zone is best planted in the spring so that the tree has time to take root and acclimatize - then it will have more chances to take root than when planted in late autumn.

Landing of domestic large-sized trees with a trunk diameter of up to 20 cm and an earthen clod mass of not more than 3 tons is possible both with frozen and non-frozen clods. It is desirable to complete the transplant before the intensive growth of the shoots begins, it is carried out as soon as possible, providing the tree with abundant watering. I emphasize once again: during transplantation, the temperature should not exceed 20 ° C. In summer, large-sized plants are transplanted in extreme cases.

And yet, answering the question of when to plant, I always clarify why a large-sized plant is chosen. If something massive, very high (with a trunk diameter of more than 20 cm) is needed on the site in order to close, then it is advisable to use Russian material. And if you need single trees of rare species, then you can consider imported planting material. The range of European nurseries today is diverse.

M. Skvaznikov| It is most pleasant to choose large-sized trees in the summer, when they demonstrate all their beauty. But winter and early spring are the most favorable seasons for planting. The fact is that the large crown of large-sized plants evaporates a huge amount of moisture, and the damaged root system immediately after transplantation is not able to make up for the losses. In winter, the plant is in deep rest, its life processes are slowed down, besides, deciduous large-sized plants have already lost their foliage, which means that the volume of evaporated water is several times less. It is easier and easier to extract and store an earth lump due to its high-quality freezing. It is necessary to wrap the dug lump with burlap to preserve the existing heat and moisture of the root system. Winter planting of large trees allows you to successfully transplant even fifteen-meter trees.

Corr.: What is the maximum height of an adult tree you can plant on the site?

I. Yangutov| The maximum height will be no more than 13 m. This is due to the dimensions of the transport on which the trees are transported, the length of the car body is 14 meters. It is advisable to limit yourself to a height of about 10–12 m. The older and higher the tree, the more difficult it is to take root. In addition, trees with a height of more than 12 m are technically difficult to treat with preparations and protect.

Corr.: Is it worth it to buy and plant large-sized trees on your own?

I. Yangutov| This question is often asked. I answer like this. There are organizations that perform a full cycle of work with large trees: tree selection, digging, transportation, unloading, planting and subsequent care of them is an ideal option. You can buy large-sized ones yourself, but in this case it will be difficult for you to trace the history of the tree, material may come across that is not zoned or with a frozen lump, in addition, you will not have a guarantee for the plant. So choose.

M. Skvaznikov| Large trees are not dug up in the neighboring forest, they are bred in special nurseries, and a properly prepared tree is quite expensive. Planting large-sized trees is a laborious task and, in the case of truly large trees, it requires the involvement of special funds; planting them, as we have already said, is far from possible at any time. When planting, you must have a site plan and a landscaping project. Different types of trees are planted in different soils, and they all need attention and special care after transplantation.

Corr.: What should be taken into account when choosing a place for a large-sized plant in the garden?

M. Skvaznikov| It is best to select and plant them according to the characteristics in accordance with which they grow in their natural environment: high - behind low ones, weeping - near water, sprawling - in open space. It is important that the growing conditions in the old and new places match.

Care must be taken that the trees do not compete for light and moisture. For example, pines are very photophilous, unpretentious to the composition of the soil, but do not tolerate stagnant water. When planting in a row (alley), large-sized pines should be at a distance of 4-5 meters from each other. Large spruces love shade or partial shade, they are hard to transplant, and very demanding on stagnant water. Their root neck must be at the same level with the ground. Blue spruce is a large size that requires a lot of sun and free space.

I. Yangutov| It is important to consider that the tree will grow, its crown will increase, so it is better to contact a specialist who will give recommendations on planting.

Corr.: What should be the soil?

I. Yangutov| The best option for coniferous plants is fertile loam with the addition of peat. According to the mechanical composition, the soil should not be too heavy, like clay in which water stands, and too light, like sand, which does not hold water. It should be the same as in the natural habitat. In the forest, needles, old branches falling to the ground and rotting, form a humus horizon of 20–25 cm, which is the main nutrient medium for the plant. How to get a similar soil composition in the garden?

The ideal option: if there is an upper fertile layer, it must be removed (the lower layer is removed, it will not be used), add peat, sand, sapropel containing a lot of organic matter, and plant a tree in this mixture. If the soils are sandy, then the added soil should be heavier so that the water is better retained, if the soils are loamy, the soil is taken lighter so that the water does not stagnate. These are general recommendations, what and in what quantity to add to the soil should be determined by a specialist.

Corr.: On average, a guarantee for a large-sized vehicle is given from one to three years. Is this enough time for the tree to adapt?

I. Yangutov| The first year is the most dangerous and important. In the second year, the tree moves away from stress and gradually adapts to new conditions, the root system, damaged as a result of transplantation, begins to recover. The main criterion by which one can judge whether a tree has taken root or not is very simple: if you see buds on a tree in autumn, it means that it will live next year.

Three years is a sufficient period if the tree is constantly looked after under average static conditions: watering, treating conifers from pests, fertilizing, giving stimulants for roots and crowns.

For coniferous plants, protection against stem pests and coniferous insects is very important. Recently, due to the fact that diseased and dead trees are not removed on the territory of the Moscow Region, many stem pests have bred - the typographic bark beetle, the small and large pine beetle, and the engraver bark beetle. They damage the conductive tissue of the tree, along which water and nutrients move. Therefore, during the three-year adaptation period, the tree must be treated with preparations that protect against stem pests, especially if the garden plot is located in a forest area. Tree treatments should be carried out throughout the growing season, from late April to October, the frequency of insecticide use should be determined by a specialist.

And it is also very important to provide watering that is optimal for the plant in specific conditions. With abundant watering, we help the tree survive the stress received during transplantation.

M. Skvaznikov| There is no need to be afraid if the large size becomes ill. The first year after planting will be critical. This is completely natural and corrected by biological supplements. Proper care of large size is also very important. For recently transplanted large-sized plants, intensive watering with and without bioadditives (even if it rains), trunk irrigation (including with mineral top dressing), loosening of trunk circles and their mulching are necessary. In the first year, it is very important to protect the tree from diseases and pests. If in the spring the plant has young shoots, it means that it has taken root normally.

Stretch marks are removed three years after planting large-sized plants.

I. Yangutov| For hedges, you can use any coniferous. But not all breeds tolerate a haircut. For clipped hedges, various types of western thuja are primarily suitable, primarily Brabant, and European (common) and Serbian spruce. The younger the plant, the easier it is to cut and the better, denser the green wall is formed.

Tui are also good because they have a compact root system, this is especially important if the space is narrow, but you need to close around the perimeter. Where European spruce in order for the root system to develop well, you need at least 3 m in diameter, 1.5 m is enough for thuya.

Serbian spruce (Picea omorica), various types of fir (Siberian fir, single-color fir, Korean fir) and prickly spruce (Picea pungens) do the best with the role of a Christmas tree planted on the site. Serbian spruce and fir have shapes that hold the triangle well. It is important that the tree does not come close to the house: an adult tree needs a place sufficient for the growth of roots.

Landing large-sized

Large trees are called mature trees and shrubs with a well-developed crown and root system. It is believed that planting such trees allows you to place the necessary bright accents in the overall landscape composition and, thus, quickly complete it.
The main advantage of large-sized plants is that they have a closed root system, which allows them to be planted and transplanted throughout the year. When creating decorative and orchards, three types of large-sized trees are usually used: coniferous (pine, spruce, fir, thuja, etc.); deciduous (birch, ash, oak, chestnut, etc.) and fruit trees (apple, pear, cherry, apricot, etc.).

The very process of planting large-sized plants on the site is a rather complicated and time-consuming work. The main and necessary condition is to maintain the integrity of the root mass, which in no case should be violated, since it depends on the fragile root hairs how quickly and successfully the tree takes root in your area.

In recent years, very often they resort to winter planting of large trees, when the tree is at rest and experiences minimal stress. However, such a procedure requires special care during transportation and careful landing in the ground.

The easiest way to take root on the site is a young tree grown in compliance with all necessary conditions in a good nursery. In this case, as a rule, the root mass of such a tree is quite well developed, and besides, the young large-sized tree already has a well-formed crown. After landing in the ground, such a large size must be strengthened with the help of special soft ties, which will help the large size to take root faster in a new place. He will also need special watering, which normalizes the water balance of the tree and helps strengthen its root system in the soil.
The place on the site is being prepared for planting a large-sized plant in advance - in accordance with the developed landscape design plan and the recommendations of specialists. The soil fertilization regime depends on its general quality and the type of plants that are being prepared for planting on the site.

The depth of the planting hole dug under the large size should be suitable for the size of the root ball in order to avoid tilting or falling of the tree. If the landing takes place in the winter, then the frozen lump is placed entirely in the pit, taking into account the fact that it will certainly settle in the spring.
After planting or transplanting, all large-sized plants need time to adapt to new conditions. During this period, they need especially caring care, which they need to provide for further proper development. With such care, young large-sized trees reach their peak in 2-4 growing seasons, and adults - annual and two-year-old seedlings - will begin to bear fruit in the first or second season after planting.

Our specialists are ready to carry out competent and accurate planting of large-sized plants at all stages, from the selection of high-quality planting material, its transportation, planting in the ground and subsequent care. Call!

Usually a suburban area with a new house is a flat area without green spaces, and even more so, mature trees. However, it is with their help that you can create any composition: a small forest, and an alley, and a coniferous corner, and park plantings, and reinforcing strips, and much more. Without mature trees, your site looks inferior and unformed. And if there are usually no problems with planting shrubs and grasses, then planting large-sized plants is a complex and multi-stage process.

Let's define terms

Planting large-sized plants in our country has become widespread since the 18th-19th centuries, but the peak of its development occurred in the middle and end of the last century. Then transplants of large-sized plants were carried out on a large scale, using powerful mechanization tools - truck cranes, bar machines for cutting through frozen soil and forming a plant clod. With the help of this technique, cities were planted with greenery, large arrays of large-sized plantings were created, while obtaining a ready-formed landscape in the desired area. The technology of planting large-sized plants was different, but the general rules and principles were always respected.

Large-sized trees are plants with a height of 3 meters or more, with a well-formed crown. Let us agree to classify as large trees deciduous trees with a height of 5 m or more with a crown width of 1.5 m or more and conifers with a height of 4 m. landing and transportation.

Technology of planting large-sized

Planting large-sized plants can be done year-round, subject to certain conditions, protection and care measures. This allows you to green the territory at any time of the year and plan the timing of the work. The most common winter planting of large trees (from late November to March), as the plants are at rest, so it is quite easy to transport a large tree along with a planting ball. Work on planting large-sized plants is carried out in stages, depending on the time.

There are 5 main stages.
1. Preparation of large-sized plants for transplanting in the nursery: digging out large-sized plants, packing a clod and preparing for transportation. If necessary, the tree is treated with additional means and pruned.
2. Transportation: large-sized items are placed in a car, strengthened, observing all safety measures, and delivered to the landing site.
3. Creation of conditions for temporary storage of large-sized crops before planting: shelter of the root system, digging and timely watering.
4. Landing large-sized. Landing is carried out in prepared landing pits, previously saturated with oxygen.
5. Care of planted trees, which includes a whole range of activities.

Large-sized objects are placed at the facility strictly in accordance with the landing plan, which is developed on the basis of the dendroplan. The latter provides for all the necessary living conditions for a tree and optimal planting distances. The final assortment of trees and shrubs by species and varieties depends on the compatibility of the latter in various compositions, which involve the artistic association of plants into groups, taking into account the volume, shape and color of each. The crowns of trees are surprisingly diverse in shape: columnar (pyramidal poplar, western thuja, Columna form), cone-shaped (spruce, fir), spherical (sharp maple, apple tree), umbrella-shaped (pine), weeping (willow, drooping birch). The shape of the crown is best seen in accent, solitary plantings, therefore, when drawing up a dendrological plan, the most spectacular specimen is planned for a single planting in a place that is clearly visible from different sides so that it fully reveals its shape and color. A large single tree planted near the house will soften the rigid outlines of the building, visually shifting the focus on itself. It also protects against noise, dust and excessive sunlight.

When planning tree compositions, it should be borne in mind that the distance between plants should be at least 5-6 m. It is at the stage of drawing up the dendroplan that you need to clearly determine the age and height of the trees you want to plant. This question relates more to the field of finance than to landscape architecture. Planting adult large-sized trees is laborious and expensive, because it must be done by professionals.

Seats of established sizes are prepared with the help of excavators, the walls of the pits are cleaned with shovels by hand and made vertical. The bottom of the pit is loosened by 20-30 cm and a layer of plant soil 40 cm thick is poured, while adding fertilizer. Next, the pit is leveled, rammed, and its center is marked with a small peg to center the plant during planting. In winter, the pit is backfilled only with thawed soil over the root neck of the plant by 4-5 cm, and large-sized plants are planted at a temperature not lower than -15 ° C.

After preparing the landing pit, a winter planting of a large-sized plant is carried out in compliance with a certain sequence and agrotechnical requirements:

  • vegetable soil is brought to the prepared landing places for planting. When planting in areas with heavy clay soils, it is necessary to lay a drainage layer of coarse sand and crushed stone at the bottom of the pit;
  • transportation of large-sized vehicles directly to the landing sites;
  • installation of a large size with a lump in the seat using a truck crane. This process is carried out by experienced workers who know the rules for loading and unloading heavy loads. After installing the large size in the seat, it is necessary to free the lump from the packaging;
  • watering the planted large size according to the established norms (an average of 40-80 liters per tree) until the seat is saturated with moisture, followed by mulching (crushed bark or wood chips can be used as mulch);
  • strengthening the large size with special stretch marks. If necessary, a support is installed.

Caring for planted large-sized trees

Caring for planted large-sized plants consists in restoring impaired body functions. The first year after planting large-sized plants is the most critical, because the root system is severely disturbed, its active part, the suction roots, is partially destroyed. Systematic watering is necessary to restore the root system. Care and careful monitoring of the planted large size is carried out during the first 2-3 years after planting. After 3 years, it is necessary to remove the stretch marks and fixing stakes. To increase the survival rate of large-sized trees, it is necessary to use growth biostimulants (for example, Heteroauxin, Kornevin, Bioplex), which allow the tree to acclimatize faster in a new place and form a new mass of roots. The rate and time of watering and fertilizing should be considered in a specific situation and taking into account the concentration of the growth stimulator.
