Implementation of the project "Garden on the windowsill"

in senior group"Funny boys"

AT Everyday life children, teachers drew attention to the fact that not all children and not always willingly carry out assignments or are on duty in natural corner. Many children, after watering the flowers, do not want to clean up the watering cans, do not wipe the colors. To the teacher’s question, “Why don’t you finish what you started?” - answered “Already wiped”, “I don’t like to take care of flowers”, “I can water tomorrow”

To the question of the educator: - Do we need plants, and do they benefit?

Some children answered: That the plants should grow outside. Another part of the children said that the plants are beautiful, but they are of little use.

The educators suggested discussing this together as a group. Next questions:

What do we know about plants?

What new things can we learn?

How can we get new knowledge?

All answers were recorded in a table. The children answered the first question on their own, the second question was answered by leading questions of educators, the third question was mainly suggested by teachers, the children supplemented

Earth.

Event title: Experimental-experimental lesson "What kind of land."

Target: Reveal the properties of the earth: it has weight, black color, pours

Material, equipment: Earth in containers

Water

Event title: Water and plants

Target: Determine how much water is needed for plant growth

Material, equipment: 2 containers with soil and germinated sprouts (one is watered regularly, the other is not watered at all)

The sun

Event title: sun and plants

Target: Determine the role of the sun in plant life

Material, equipment: 2 containers with earth and germinated sprouts (one is in the sun, the other is placed in dark room)

Man

Event title: man and plants

Target: Determine how plants need human care

Material, equipment: 2 containers with earth and sprouts (children water one container, loosen the earth, choose a sunny place, do not water the other, do not loosen the earth, put in a dark place)

Preparatory stage:

Excursion to the store "Seeds".

Target: Expand the knowledge of children: where you can buy seeds, land, plant care items.

1. Continue to form concepts - a specialized store, seller, buyer.

2. Introduce children to the variety of seeds, care items for them.

3. Cultivate a respectful attitude to the work of the seller - consultant.

4. Make children want to know where the seeds come from, how they are stored, and what to do with them next.

Previous work:

The teacher preliminarily agrees with the store employees about the arrival of children on an excursion.

In the store, the teacher drew the children's attention to the variety of seeds, pots, trays for growing seedlings, flowers and other plants (palm trees, grapes, etc.). The teacher offers to look around and form their own questions on the perception of what they see.

Children asked questions to the sales assistant:

Where do the seeds come from?

Who and how grows these beautiful flowers?

Why more useful land for plants, which is in the store, than the earth from the lawns?

Why are there so many flower pots?

If there are differences for planting, or can any pot be used?

How important is plant care, or can they just be watered?

How should plants be properly planted?

The teacher drew the children's attention to the fact that people constantly come into the store and what they buy. Buyers buy not only seeds and flowerpots, they also buy special “nutrition” for plants.

And for what it is necessary to ask the seller to tell.

After returning from the store, the children share their impressions. Together with educators, they make a conclusion about the usefulness of plants and the importance of caring for them. Remember together helpful tips sales consultant. The teacher offers to select the information received and use it during the breakdown of the garden on the windowsill.

Practical part

In the kindergarten group, a breakdown of the garden on the windowsill.

After analyzing the information received in the store, the children, under the guidance of teachers, began to break down the fence on the windowsill.

First, they prepared trays, filled them with earth. We examined the seeds, noticed that not all seeds are the same, garlic is generally planted with cloves that are used for food, but birds can peck at cucumber seeds.

After planting the seeds in the ground, it is important to water the ground with water so that the seeds “wake up” and begin to germinate.

The teacher suggested thinking: does our window sill look like a garden? And what is missing for this. Together with the children, the window sill was decorated with attributes and toys of the corresponding theme.

Album "Homework"

Based on the results of visiting the "Corner of Nature".

Target:

1. Help children remember and systematize everything they have learned about plants.

2. To develop creativity, imagination of children, the ability to think figuratively.

Practical part:

Children independently performed the work, arguing about the sequence in which the drawings should be arranged.

In the course of the work, we came to a consensus - the drawings should be located in the same way as the plants are located in the "Corner of Nature".

On the first page there is a drawing of the “Corner of Nature” itself.

After each drawing, there was a story compiled together with the parent about visiting the “Corner of Nature”. Each story was read, the children shared their impressions.

group holiday

Didactic games:

"Tops and Roots »

The teacher takes 2 hoops: black and red, puts them so that the hoops intersect. In a black hoop, you need to put vegetables that have roots for food, and in a red hoop, those that use tops. The child comes to the table, chooses a vegetable, shows it to the children and puts it in the right circle, explaining why he put the vegetable here. (In the area where the hoops intersect, there should be vegetables that use both tops and roots).

« What first, what then.

Purpose: To teach children to make a consistent chain of interrelated events. Develop thinking, speech activity.

Material. Two sets of schemes (bone, sprout, tree with buds, leaves, buds, flowers, fruits), an apple.

Game progress

P
The teacher shows the children an apple and asks the question: “How did it appear?” Then he invites the children to divide into two teams and make a chain of diagrams, explaining how the apple appeared. Teams make up a story based on diagrams.

"Finish the sentence."

Target. To reinforce the knowledge of vegetables in children. Expand and activate vocabulary.

Material. Ball.

Game progress

The cucumber is oval, and the pumpkin ...

Onions are bitter, and carrots ...

The cucumber is green, and the beets ...

The radish is small, but the radish ...

The zucchini is big, but the pumpkin…

Tomatoes are sour, and garlic ...

Carrots in the ground, and a tomato ...

The tomato is round, and the carrot ...

finger games

Theme "Fruits"

Self-massage of fingers (connection of fingers, starting with the little fingers, between the fingers of the ball jumper). Children connect one pair of fingers for each poetic line, while the palms do not touch each other.

We went to the market (little fingers)

There are many pears and persimmons, (ring fingers)

There are lemons, oranges, (middle fingers)

Melons, plums, tangerines, (index fingers)

But we bought a watermelon - (thumbs)

This is the most delicious cargo (fingers are clenched into a fist, the big one is taken up.)

Theater of fingers and tongue (associated gymnastics)

1. Once the fingers went into the forest: top-top, top-top-top. Imitate walking fingers in a given rhythm, pace: index and middle, large and index. Move your tongue up and down.

2. Grows at the edge wild apple tree. It has apples on it. Bring your hands together from elbows to wrists, clench your hands into fists, raise your thumbs up. Tongue round, bend with support on the upper lip.

3. Apples are sour. Wave your hand "Eh". Wrinkle and stick out your tongue slightly.

4. We will collect apples in baskets. Interlace your fingers in a "basket". Bend the rounded ends of the tongue with a "cup".

5. At home, we will cook jam from apples. Raise the thumb of the right hand up - a gesture of approval. Smile and lick your upper and lower lips.

6. Through the forest (top-top, top-top-top) we went to the river. Spread your arms to the sides: smooth movements from the shoulders to the fingers. Smoothly move the wide tongue back and forth.

7. It's hard to carry baskets. We saw a boat. Put your palms in a "boat". Make wave-like movements with your hands. Fold the tongue with a "boat" (lift the side edges up). Pull the tongue forward and retract.

8. Sailed home. Connect the tips of the fingers (fingers "house"). Suck the tongue to the palate (the roof of the house).

finger game"We cook compote"

We will cook compote,

You need a lot of fruits. Here:

Let's chop apples

We will chop the pear

Let's wring out lemon juice,

Put the drain and sand.

We cook, we cook compote.

Let's treat honest people.

Finger game "We're going to the garden for a walk"

Garden - Sink grate or flat soap dish with spikes. Children "walk" with their index and middle fingers along the cells (thorns), for each stressed syllable poems, step by step.

One, two, three, four, five.

We go for a walk in the garden

For blueberries

for raspberries,

For cranberries

For viburnum.

We will find strawberries

And take it to my brother.

Physical education minutes

Grandma cooked kissel

Grandma cooked kissel ( Right hand"stirs jelly.") On a pea,

So that you become cheerful, Forefinger right hand "threatens grandmother".)

We will cook jelly (The right hand again “stirs jelly”.)

Wow so much! (Hands spread wide to the sides.)

Once upon a time there lived a gardener, he planted a vegetable garden, He diligently prepared the beds. (Children make movements, as if digging with a shovel.)

He brought a suitcase

Full of different seeds. (Children walk.)

But they were mixed up in disorder.

Spring has come,

And the seeds sprouted. (Children sit down and stand up.)

The gardener admired the shoots.

I watered them in the morning, (Perform movements, as if watering.)

Covered them for the night

And protected from cold weather. (Children sit down.)

But when the gardener

He invited us to the garden

"The flower has blossomed"

The fingers are clenched into a fist. Each finger alternately straightens and moves to the side, like flower petals, thumb and the little finger are straightened at the same time. This exercise can be performed differently: the palms of both hands are raised up and pressed against each other with the tips of the fingers and the bases of the palms - the flower is closed. The fingers of the same name on both hands are simultaneously retracted - the flower has blossomed.

Violet is a flower that is loved by many nations. Violet flowers began to grow

2400 years ago the ancient Greeks and Romans. This plant was brought to our country from warm

countries. Therefore, this flower cannot live on the street: it will die from the cold.

Water this flower carefully so that water does not get on the leaves.

There are many legends about the origin of the violet. One of them says that this flower has grown

from the tears of grateful Adam, when the archangel Gabriel told him about the forgiveness of sins to the first

to a person.

According to the Slavic legend about violets ( pansies) - in tricolor petals

the flower reflects the trusting, blue eyes of the girl Anyuta with a very kind heart, from

whom her loved ones left, and she looked at the road for a long time, slowly fading away from longing.

Three violet petals symbolize hope, surprise and sadness.

The influence of the environment on the development of the child is enormous. Phenomena and objects of nature

attract children with beauty, brightness of colors, variety. Watching them baby

enriches his sensory experience, on which his further creativity is based.

The deeper the child learns the mysteries of the world around him, the more

questions. The main task of an adult is to help the child independently

find answers to these questions. To satisfy children's curiosity, instill

the first skills of activity and independent thinking, we created the conditions for

search and research activities of children. Introduction to growth and development

plants can be carried out in the winter-spring period, growing in the children's room

garden different cultures using a vegetable garden on the window. And changes in nature

Encourage children to take care of plants. Every careful observer and

a thoughtful explorer can discover something new. Children preschool age in

insufficiently have an idea about plants, about where they grow, about

Planting seeds

Watering and observation

Children spend most of their time in preschool. In part, this is their second home. Through the efforts of educators, the guys learn a lot of new things during the day. For more variety and interest, the program includes creative projects. The garden on the window in the kindergarten, the design in the form of a fairy tale is one of them. Improvised means, patience and imagination will help bring ideas to life.

Many children have no idea how what grows, they are completely unfamiliar with ecological culture. This gap must certainly be filled.

It is extremely important to form aesthetic feelings in preschoolers. And you need to start with the simplest, gradually complicating the task as the child grows older.

Special Requirements

When it comes to young children, it is extremely important to take care of their safety.

  • when setting up a mini-garden on the window, do not forget about the size. They should not go beyond the window sill;
  • to implement the idea, a safe zone is selected;
  • the use of fertilizers is prohibited.

  1. For a vegetable garden on the window, you need to choose sunny side if there is none, you will have to come up with additional lighting.
  2. Compliance with the temperature regime in the room should not be lower than +17 degrees.
  3. For mini beds you need ready soil. There can be no question of any fertilizers - their use in preschool institutions, is strictly prohibited.

Let's start creating

Due to their age, the guys still do not really understand what and how to do. The primary responsibility lies with the teacher. It all starts with the design, here the children can show their imagination. For this, anything will be used, boxes, plastic bottles and glasses. On the window you can’t really accelerate because of limited space. We'll have to be content with two beds, then to compare them.

It is more correct to give preference to large seeds (onions, beans, peas, indoor cucumbers). Children's motor skills can easily cope with them.

Registration

Children should be directly involved in the process. Correctly planting a seed in the ground, they may not succeed right away, then entrust them with an equally important task - registration.

When creating a garden on a window in a kindergarten, do not forget about the design in the form of a fairy tale. By the way, as an idea, you can use your favorite cartoons. For example, Masha and the Bear.

Plants for good growth heat is needed. So, we draw the sun, color it, cut it out and glue it on the window. It will warm the beds. By the same principle we draw clouds and butterflies.

If space permits, you can put a whole onion in the water, and very soon the guys will see the fruits of their labors and will even be able to taste a fresh green onion for dinner. Just in a jar, it will look boring and not aesthetically pleasing. You can glue the container with colored paper, or ask your mother to tie a cover on it, sew buttons on it, they will serve as an eye and a spout. Get Chipolino.

In the same way as the sun, make a tree and glue it on window slope, will be very beautiful. Between the mini-beds, arrange the figures of animals. It could be anyone, a hare, a cow, a horse.

There is one more great idea- from planks or parts of the designer, make something like a fence and attach it to the windowsill with tape. This design will serve as a front garden. Basically, anything can be used. In cars, you can break the beds, and with toys from Kinder Surprise, enliven the free space.

On the wide window sill, a small “ alpine slide from an old dryer. Each tier will be occupied by plants.

Original design ideas

The older the kindergarten group, the more responsibility for the garden on the window can be assigned to it. Children will quite cope with the cleansing of mini-beds from weeds, they will be able to follow temperature regime and watering. Yes, come up with interesting ideas for the design of a small green corner. Here, for sure, their ingenuity and ingenuity will come in handy, by the way. Under the fence, you can adapt pieces of cardboard. And in the middle of the site to hoist a scarecrow.

In the corner where cucumbers grow, right on the hedge, you can attach colored paper bees. Through the efforts of the guys working on the design, the garden on the window in the kindergarten will look like a fairy tale. Every little thing carries a certain meaning. The task of parents and educators is to explain this to little why.

Just imagine how much joy the child will have when he sees the first shoots. This will spur interest in the garden, because the work was not in vain.

Above, on the window, you can place small flowerpots with flowers. Surely the girls will be interested in taking care of them. At the same time, they will draw for themselves new information. For example, some plants like more moisture and mostly cold watering, others less. And you just need to water them. warm water. Having learned all this, children will be able to independently care for the plant at home.

What is the benefit for the child is the garden outside the window

By creating a miniature garden on the window, children receive new information. They learn to care for crops and build up their vocabulary. Previously, such terms as planting, loosening, seeds and others were incomprehensible to them. And now the guys have a clear idea about all this.

Who would have thought that a vegetable garden on the window helps a child learn the basics of mathematics. Not everyone has the ability to think quickly. Visual material is easier to assimilate, any experienced teacher will confirm this.

You can come up with different problems for addition and subtraction. For example: “we planted 6 bulbs, 4 of them managed to germinate and give green feather. The question is how many bulbs are in this moment didn't germinate."

This is not all the advantages of this project. Direct participation in planting plants develops a sense of responsibility in children. Mastering new knowledge, they independently look for answers to questions of interest. Thereby enriching your inner world and expanding horizons.

They call me cabbage.

Delicious, healthy -

I will drive away illness.

It is difficult for you to communicate with me.

It is impossible to cleanse without tears.

But I'm very useful - like this thing:

There is no cure for a cold better than onions

If you eat more carrots

No training required

Drink carrot juice every day

You will be strong and healthy.

Under the leaves in the garden

cucumbers play hide and seek.

He will notice everyone, he will find everyone.

Miracle - vegetable garden

People are surprised:

What is a miracle garden?

There are radishes and lettuce here,

Onion, parsley and spinach.

Tomatoes cucumbers

They ripen together - well done!

Both potatoes and cabbage

They grow densely in the beds.

And everyone says in unison:

"We grow up here for the kids.

For diligence and hard work

The harvest will be collected."

A green zucchini

Turned to the barrel:

Sleeping sweetly in the garden

like a baby in a crib.

I was born to fame

The head is white, curly.

Who loves cabbage soup -

Look for me in them.

The grandfather is sitting in a hundred fur coats,

Who undresses him

He sheds tears.

Red girl

Sitting in the dark

And the spit is on the street.

In the garden is long and green,

And in a tub yellow and salty

At least grew in the garden,

He knows the notes of G and F.

A story about vegetables.

Vegetables lived in the same garden. All of them were very different. The green cucumber was cheerful, mischievous, never lost heart and often made fun of other vegetables. The red tomato was important, pompous. He often stated: "I think it's going to rain today" . And when it really rained, he said: "See, I was right!" If there was no rain, the tomato pretended that it had nothing to do with it. The orange carrot was bored all the time and lamented: “All my beauty is hidden under the ground, how unfortunate I am!” White cabbage she was kind and talkative. She told everyone that once she had only two leaves, and now there are very, very many! The brown potatoes were very friendly. He was friends with all the vegetables and helped everyone. Onion was harmful. He loved it when everyone around shed tears. Here are such different vegetables lived in the garden. Do you think there are people similar to them in character?

Turnip (arranged by K.D. Ushinsky. Grandfather planted a turnip. A big, big turnip grew. Grandfather began to drag a turnip from the ground: he pulls, he pulls, he can’t pull it out. Grandfather called a grandmother for help. - they pull, they can’t pull out. The grandmother called her granddaughter. The granddaughter for the grandmother, the grandmother for the grandfather, the grandfather for the turnip: they pull, they pull, they cannot pull out. they pull, they pull, they can’t pull it out. The bug called Masha. Masha for the bug, the bug for the granddaughter, the granddaughter for the grandmother, the grandmother for the grandfather, the grandfather for the turnip: they pull, they pull, they can’t pull it out.

Masha clicked the mouse. Mouse for Maka, Masha for Bug, Bug for granddaughter, granddaughter for grandmother, grandmother for grandfather, grandfather for turnip: they pull, they pull, they pulled the turnip.

THE TALE OF LUKE

Once upon a time there was a gloomy Bow -

Wept day and night.

Why are you crying, friend?

Very lonely.

Nobody likes me.

They say it's bitter.

Anyone who rips me off

Immediately crying bitterly.

I am very simple, clumsy -

Arrows, and more.

Green sharp long leaf,

At the end is a needle.

They all stand in a bundle.

Look, I'm strong!

But the zucchini has a flower

Yellow like a lily.

And cucumbers in flowers

Even tomatoes.

I'm the only one in my dreams...

Woe to Luka, woe!

So our Luchok cried.

Drops of tears fell

An old man appeared

(He was known in fairy tales).

Very old and small

Beard - to the waist,

Motley long raincoat,

Who is mourning? What's the trouble?

Heard grievances

And magic words

Said: "Kru-kri-dy!"

And the Luchok immediately blossomed,

Just like a dandelion

And became so beautiful

Our green boy!

A story about vegetables

Vegetables are very healthy because they contain a lot of vitamins. For example, carrots contain vitamin A, which helps children grow and improves eyesight. Sweet peppers contain vitamin C, which protects children from colds. A person who has eaten meat gains strength because there is a lot of protein in meat. Peas and beans are called vegetable meat - they are also rich in protein.

Garlic and onions kill harmful bacteria and help us fight disease.

Tomatoes and cucumbers can be found in any home, they also have a lot of vitamins. Well, potatoes, of course, are known to everyone. It makes delicious mashed potatoes. Potatoes have a lot of starch.

And there is also a vegetable in the world, the fruits of which are the largest of all vegetables. In order to see and even taste the fruits of this plant, one does not have to go to distant lands and climb into unknown jungles. Everyone knows this vegetable and can be seen in any garden - it's a pumpkin. It is also curious that the pumpkin is a relative of watermelons and melons. They all grow together on melons. Translated from another language melon means a garden, but this garden is unusual. They don't grow here fruit trees and shrubs, but everything huge field occupied by watermelons, melons and pumpkins, and they, having fallen apart, lie right on the ground, ripen and wait in the wings - harvesting.

Advice for parents. .

A garden on the windowsill at home contributes to the development of curiosity and observation in children, this helps to better understand plant life. He is able to expand children's ideas about plants as living organisms, about the conditions necessary for growth and development, develop an ethical sense, the ability to enjoy the beauty of grown plants and the result of their work.

It is very important that children actively participate in planting and subsequent care of plants. The garden on the windowsill, first of all, should help in the development of children. Therefore, for children younger age it is advisable to plant larger seeds.

Therefore, parents are invited to choose for planting: turnip, garlic cloves, zucchini seeds, celery, parsley. Anything that sprouts should be used as a vitamin supplement for dinner. Parents and children are encouraged to keep a diary of observations in which to record changes in growth.

Such work develops observation, teaches to carefully peer into the surrounding nature, to establish the sequence and connection of phenomena, their causes. Growing, caring for plants, the guys observe which of them grow faster, compare the shape and color of the leaves, determine the conditions necessary for the growth and development of plants, so this is also a great consistent material.

Encourage parents to grow plants different ways creating for them different conditions: for one - heat, water, light; for the other - heat, water, darkness; for the third - cold, water, light. By organizing such an experience and conducting regular weekly observations of onion germination with children, followed by fixing the results using drawings on the calendar, parents achieve a lot - on specific example convince children of the importance of individual factors external environment for the growth and development of plants.

It should be remembered that labor activity for a preschooler is not yet basic. Adults only introduce him to the feasible participation in family work. At preschool age, work is, first of all, a means of educating such important qualities as responsibility for the fulfillment of an assignment, for the result obtained, duty, purposefulness. Plant care is extremely important and has a humanistic meaning: the life and condition of living beings depend on it.

Consultation for educators

The garden on the windowsill in kindergarten contributes to the development of curiosity and observation in children, this helps to better understand plant life. He is able to expand children's ideas about plants as living organisms, about the conditions necessary for growth and development, develop an ethical sense, the ability to enjoy the beauty of grown plants and the result of their work.

It is very important that children actively participate in planting and subsequent care of plants. Therefore, it is advisable for pupils of younger groups to plant larger seeds than for pupils of middle and older groups. Also in the younger groups, 1 - 2 types of plants are enough for planting.

I propose indicative list plants for planting: turnip, garlic cloves, beet roots, parsley, celery. Anything that sprouts should be used as a vitamin supplement for dinner.

Plants should be monitored regularly with the results recorded in a diary. In younger groups, the teacher draws or photographs the changes. Such work develops observation, teaches to carefully peer into the surrounding nature, to establish the sequence and connection of phenomena, their causes. Growing, caring for plants, the guys observe which of them grow faster, compare the shape and color of the leaves, examine them through a magnifying glass, determine the conditions necessary for the growth and development of plants, so this is also a great consistent material.

It is also recommended to carry out experimental activities, to conduct entertaining experiences and experiments, they encourage children to independently search for causes, methods of action, the manifestation of creativity, support children's initiative, ingenuity, criticality and independence. It is advisable to allocate a place for a laboratory where plants will be planted in different ways: between two planes in cotton wool, in stones. You can plant bulbs, creating different conditions for them: for one - heat, water, light; for the other - heat, water, darkness; for the third - cold, water, light. By organizing such an experience and conducting regular weekly observations of onion germination with children, followed by fixing the results using drawings on the calendar, the teacher achieves a lot - using a specific example, he convinces children of the importance of individual environmental factors for the growth and development of plants.

To observe the spring changes in plant life, it is good to bring tree branches to the group. For younger groups - branches of one tree (to monitor buds and leaves). For medium groups - branches of two trees (well known to children and easily distinguishable externally). For seniors and preparatory - branches of several breeds (growing on the territory of the kindergarten).
