Except for the adjustment of the pattern, the murals are pasted in the same way as ordinary wallpaper- depending on the type of material. When paper photo wallpaper glue is applied to the canvas, when working with a material on a non-woven basis - on the wall. To stick vinyl wallpapers, glue is smeared with both the wall and the canvas. Glue is selected and diluted in accordance with the attached instructions.
Self-adhesive photo wallpaper from back side already have an adhesive layer, it is enough to remove the paper protection and roll the canvases to the wall. However, this work requires skill: the adhesive layer sets quickly and is easily damaged, so it is very difficult to fix defects. For the first time, it is better to do the work together.

Of course, not every picture is suitable for a full-wall drawing. Whether you want to decorate your wall with a landscape, a portrait of your favorite dog, or a tree from your parent's garden, you need a digital image of the quality (sharpness, color, and contrast) to make the story look decent in wallpaper format. Therefore, having outlined a specific motive, do not rush to press the shutter button of the camera.
Mount it on a tripod and set the required characteristics. It is most reliable to take a series of shots with different apertures and shutter speeds. The final assessment of the quality of the resulting image will be given by the wallpaper manufacturer.
This photograph of Spiekeroog Island in the North Sea (Germany) was adopted without any problems for non-woven wallpaper 140 cm high. A durable canvas made of special cellulose and textile fibers weighs about 200 g / sq. m. m and, therefore, needs special glue. In this case, "Methylan Secura" from Henkel was used. Before gluing the plot, you should cut off the white edge around the perimeter with a wallpaper knife, which protects the image during transportation.
Then the work goes, in principle, as with ordinary wallpaper.

- Make a markup with a pencil and thickly apply glue to the wall. Then attach the first sheet, press the wallpaper to the wall.
- Smooth out the image by actively working with the rubber roller from the center of the panel to the edges.
- The next and all other sheets must be glued absolutely exactly without offsets - in the butt.
- It is convenient to press the joints with a small rubber roller. Excess glue can be easily removed with a cotton cloth.
- If you plan to paint the wall in the future, the edge of the image should be covered with masking tape.
- It remains to apply a protective coating on the photo wallpaper, which protects the picture from moisture, direct sunlight and other external influences.
Tip: Wall mural should always be pasted on a white base to avoid color distortion.
