Try to experiment and put, for example, a sofa at some angle or at some distance from the wall. This will give the room three-dimensionality, and also allow you to use the space more rationally.
And yet, it is time to move away from those stereotypes that everything should be combined with each other. If everything fits together perfect way, it looks boring. You should not be afraid to mix colors and styles, which will bring the spirit of contradiction into the interior, an element of surprise and play.
