Plastic sandwich panels have increased waterproofing and heat transfer resistance. If they are present, there is no need for additional window insulation. The presence of an ebb in the window structure can significantly extend its service life and at the same time maintain high rates of waterproofing and sealing. The ebb is a plate that is installed on the outside under the window. It is intended for removal of an atmospheric precipitation and moisture from a profile.

The plate from which the ebb is made is bent at a certain angle. The following materials serve as the basis for its manufacture:

• Plastic (PVC ebbs). The most widespread and favorable type of ebbs from the point of view of a ratio of quality and cost.
• Galvanized sheet (plastisol or polyester is used as an external coating).
• Aluminum. Ebbs from this material are made by bending the sheet (its thickness, as a rule, is 1 mm). Staining occurs by spraying a special powder.

It should be noted that the use of ebbs not only prolongs the life of the window and improves its insulating qualities, but also gives the entire structure a complete, complete look.
