In order to gain access to it, it is necessary to unscrew the bolts that fix the fastenings of the drain assembly. After that, we take out the pipe, remove the fixing clamp. Then we drain the water from the pipe into a pre-prepared container.
After that, it is necessary to check whether our pipe is clogged with any rubbish. To do this, lightly squeeze it in different places. If you find a blockage, then it must be removed. After that, we collect the entire structure in its original state.
Impeller
If this does not solve our problem, then move on to the next one. possible malfunction. Now we will check if the pump impeller is jammed. It is located directly behind the filter. If even a small thing gets into it, this can cause a malfunction. Therefore, first try to twist the impeller. If it rotates, and no extraneous things are visible, then everything is in order with it. And if you find something superfluous, for example, a coin or a button, remove it. If this does not help, then it remains to check the drain pump (pump).
How to check and replace the pump?
In order to check the serviceability of the drain pump, we will remove the filter, as you have already done this before. After that, set the program to spin. And illuminate the filter hole. The easiest way to do this is to use a regular flashlight. If the pump impeller does not move, then the pump (drain pump) is broken. After all, we have already checked it for the presence of foreign objects. And this is the only explanation that the impeller does not rotate. And since we have established a malfunction, we proceed to the next step - replacing the broken part.
But before that, we need to purchase this very detail. Most washing machines use standard parts to assemble. Therefore, we can easily find the new pump we need without any problems. If you do not know where you can buy it, then the easiest way is to use the Internet to find a seller. Namely, search engines Yandex, Google, Mail.ru or others. You drive in the search line: “buy a pump for a washing machine in Moscow”, “in Moscow” you need to change it to your city if you are not a Muscovite. Then find sellers in the search results, call them and buy a new pump.

In addition, over time, the magnets themselves can gradually demagnetize, which also leads to a decrease in pump power. A sign of such a malfunction is the noise emitted by the pump. Tip: If your machine is more than 6-7 years old, and it makes noise in the spin mode, the pump is very likely to fail. It needs to be replaced.
How to change the pump yourself
