Frequently asked questions about the breather Tion O2. Tion o2 compact supply ventilation unit

Breezer Tion O 2 Standart with deep multi-stage cleaning and heating is the best solution for cities.

Description of the breather Tion O 2 Standart

Tion O 2 is a compact wall Supply unit a new generation, designed specifically for premises whose windows overlook a busy highway or are located in an environmentally unfavorable place. Eliminates street noise and solves the problem of stuffiness associated with the tightness of PVC plastic windows.

Thanks to 3-stage air filtration using a Hepa filter, it is suitable for allergy sufferers, asthmatics, young children and other people with immune problems and in need of particularly fine air purification. The device was developed in Novosibirsk by the Tion company, the leader in the medical market for air purification and disinfection. Tion O 2 in his price category has unique characteristics due to the medical grade H11 air purification and climate control. The device cleans supply air from the smallest particles of all types of pollutants: dust, soot, allergens, dangerous viruses, bacteria, mold, carcinogens, as well as from harmful street gases.

Tion O 2 Standard - has the following characteristics:

  • climate control operates from -40°C to +25°C
  • possibility of complete shutdown of heating
  • four fan speeds
  • filter replacement monitoring
  • timer control
  • an additional thick adsorption filter AK-XXL has been developed, which can be put instead of a HEPA filter when there are especially strong odors outside (exhaust fumes, landfill smoke, industrial emissions, etc.)

Thus, the Tion O 2 Standard breather with deep multi-stage purification and air heating with climate control is designed for the conditions of a standard modern city with sources of air pollution (roads, industrial enterprises) and winter temperatures below 0°C. Optimal solution for city dwellers.

Comparative characteristics:

  • Tion O 2 and Ballu Air Master multicomplex

Tion O 2 provides fresh air room up to 40m2. The breather is mounted indoors, it is controlled through an electronic panel or remote control. There are four fan speeds: the minimum speed is designed to provide fresh air to 1-2 people, the average speed is 2-3x, the maximum is 3-4x. Thanks to the climate control function, the breather can automatically heat the air to the temperature you set.

Breather Tion O 2 is recommended for installation in city apartments, offices, country houses. Installation cost - 4000 rubles. The average turnkey installation time is 2 hours. PHOTO of the installation process.

Can be installed without drilling outer wall: in a double-glazed window or in a sandwich panel (inserted instead of glass into the sash), a hole is pre-drilled along the diameter of the device's air duct. Further actions are the same as for standard installation: a pipe is inserted into the hole, the device is hung inside the room, a grill or "beak" is installed outside. An excellent option for those who do not want to drill into the wall or do not have enough free space on the wall to install the device.

Functions and capabilities of the breather Tion O 2 Standart

  • Constant supply of fresh air with adjustable capacity (four air supply rates: 35/60/75/120 m 3 /hour).
  • Three-stage air purification filters (medical standard).
  • Adjustable air heating (from -40°С to +25°С). Thus, the breather acts as a heater. Air heating can be turned off.
  • Electronic control panel with LCD interface, where you can set the fan speed, the temperature to which you want to heat the air, turn on and set the timer and night mode, as well as find out the current temperature in the street and in the room.

Breather Tion O 2 is complete solution to constantly supply the premises with fresh, clean air at a temperature that is comfortable for you, preventing the appearance of stuffiness, dampness, dust, noise, odors, bacteria and allergens.

Three-stage air purification

Fresh and clean air at home is not a luxury, but a necessity, especially if you have a child, and outside the window there is a noisy street, dust, dirt and bad smell. Classical ventilation will not provide fresh air if you live in a city, and besides, it is a source of drafts and, as a result, constant illnesses.

For two months now he has been living in our apartment - household forced ventilation developed in Siberia. Unlike split systems, whose main task is to cool and heat the room, the breather supplies fresh, purified and, if necessary, heated air. The flow power can be represented by seeing the diameter through hole in the wall, which is drilled with a special installation. How it all happens and the experience of using the breather in this post.

The desire to acquire a split system arose exactly after the birth of her daughter. As you know, a caring mother of your children is worse than a mother-in-law from a joke. Sometimes care reaches insanity. Its peak happens at the moment when the child falls ill for the first time in his life. Desperate, my wife read the forums of young mothers - thus, some kind of Chinese air humidifier appeared in our house, which is now broken gathering dust in the pantry.

However, it was clear that sooner or later the air problem would need to be addressed so that the child could breathe clean air and not develop asthma or some kind of allergy. While I was slowly trying to solve this problem, TION wrote to me, offering to test their breather and make an honest review. Yes, yes, they said so, just please make an honest review. An offer you can't refuse. No problem, send your unit, - I answered.

When I agreed, I didn't even know what a breather was.

It turned out that the TION company, despite the American letters in the name, is from Siberia, which made me very happy. Until that moment, I knew exactly two things about Siberia - there is a lot of snow there and the Decembrists were exiled there.

So, TION o2 is a domestic supply ventilation that is suitable for home, office or apartment (select the one you need). Initially, like many others, my wife and I naively believed that buying and installing an air conditioner would solve all our problems, even domestic ones. But it's not.

Breezer works in the following way— filters street air and delivers to the apartment. If necessary, heated. The air intake power of the breather is several times greater than that of the air conditioner (for example, the air conditioner tubes are 2-3 times thinner than the air duct of the breather). At the same time, due to thin tubes, most air conditioners in the supply mode hum very loudly - much louder than when cooling.

To install the device, it was necessary to drill a huge hole in the wall. At first, this scared me a little, but then the fear was replaced by joy that I could finally take revenge on my neighbors.

Even if your hands grow from that place, it is unlikely that you will be able to install the breather yourself. Without special equipment no way. By the way, holes up to 150 mm do not need to be coordinated with anyone. This is the law. So, if you wish, you can drill holes for yourself around the perimeter of the entire apartment so that your cozy nest looks like a piece of Swiss cheese.

In my case, the installation of the breather was carried out by one person, although there are usually several of them.

He brought with him so many tools that I could open my own workshop. But not for long, but only for an hour, because the whole process took so much time. The drilling itself is even faster, the lion's share of the time is spent on preparation.

Drilling is a rather noisy and dusty process, so the floor is pre-covered with a film. However, the film is additional protection, the driller brought with him an industrial vacuum cleaner, also gigantic in size, like a drill.

The giant drill looked like a real monster and looked intimidating. Of course, you can’t hold such a colossus in your hands, so the drill is attached to special bolts on the sides.

This is me to the fact that you need to be prepared for damage to the wall. However, this is not so important - by hanging a picture, you can solve this problem.

A plastic tube is inserted into the hole made, which is wrapped with insulation so that condensation does not appear on the pipe during the cold season. You look into this hole on the street and feel like a real hero of The Shawshank Redemption.

I was surprised by the result - the hole turned out perfectly even.

In my case, it went out onto a non-glazed balcony, from the side of which the hole was closed with a decorative grille.

The breather itself is raised by two bolts, that is, if you wish, it is not a problem to remove it. True, why is not clear, because you can change the filters without removing the device from the wall. But more about filters later.

Important information. The breather is able to heat the air entering the apartment, but it is not able to perform the function of a heater, since Maximum temperature+25. It's quite comfortable temperature. Considering that we used the breather in December-January, it was a real winter, it never occurred to me to want to set the temperature higher.

Since the only place where it was possible to drill a through hole in the apartment was a wall in the room, the device had to be hung almost to the ceiling - below was computer desk. Naturally, only I can reach the control panel due to my height.

However, this is not a problem - the kit comes with a small remote control white color, which contains all the necessary buttons. True, when you sit down on a chair and look up, the display of the device is not really visible and you still have to get up to see if it works at all or not. Oh yes, the remote control, but I love looking at the display, especially since there is a clock there. You ask, why is there a watch on the breather? Why not. You know, I stopped using classic watches a long time ago. Now I know the time by looking at the microwave, stove and breather.

The breather is powered by the network - a cable about three meters long is more than enough. I have one rhetorical question. Why does the cable come out on the side? It cannot be hidden, but it was possible to carefully remove it from under the device itself. All this is not fatal to me - the wire hides the computer desk, but still.

Noise.

This is probably the main question that worries readers. The noise data in the device passport is 32/39/45/52 dB.
I did not have special instruments for measuring noise. And why? The breather has 4 modes, on the first it works silently, on the second it is noticeable, on the third it is like a refrigerator, like an old Soviet refrigerator. The sound is tangible, reminiscent of the work of an old cooler in a PC. Of course, if you increase the power to the maximum speed, the sound becomes noticeably louder, but this "maximum speed" is not needed.

Naturally, taking air from the street, noise from the street does not pass through the filter. For me, this is relevant - the balcony overlooks the road, where motorists and rabid drunks rush until late at night. And it is not yet clear which of them creates more noise. I'm leaning towards the second option. Besides, we always have something on fire. It smells like a dump. In winter they don’t burn, I don’t know why, but in the summer the season begins. Goodbye bad smell.

And, of course, the main thing - you can forget about ventilation. In two months of use, I have never opened balcony door even for micro-ventilation. More precisely, I opened it once, but only to smoke, while no one was at home, because I was too lazy to go to the common balcony.

The Breezer does its job very well, but by the summer I will think about installing air conditioning, since our windows face sunny side and the apartment is constantly stuffy. As a rule, air conditioners with air supply have one important limitation - the ventilation mode does not work if it is cold outside. Often, in the operating instructions for air conditioners with a supply, they warn that when the outside air temperature is less than 3 ° C, air is not supplied. Consequently, ventilation does not function for three quarters of the year. The breather also works at temperatures down to -40°C. And although the most hellish frosts in my memory reached 32 degrees, the figure of minus 40 degrees pleases, it’s not for nothing that the device was developed in Siberia.

You need to understand that the power of the device is enough for one room. For full functioning, such a device will have to be placed in every room. Therefore, if the budget does not allow, my advice is to put the device where the family spends the most time. The manufacturer claims that the breather supplies air to four people. There are three of us in the apartment - we did not experience any problems.

And of course, if you have a child, the breather is an indispensable thing.

I’ll tell you a little about the child, but how not to tell? In general, you have heard stories about the harsh and inadequate St. Petersburg weather. Imagine, in the evening you open the window to ventilate the room and at night the child had fresh air. In the evening it is +5 outside, but at night it suddenly gets cold to -10. As a result, at 4 in the morning, the child comes running to your kitchen with cries of “cold” and crawls under the covers, preventing you from enjoying your personal life. The sad result - snot. And drafts are a constant and most vicious children's enemy. It so happened that we started using TION exactly in December, before the kindergarten (yes, we went to the kindergarten in December, because before that we were sick), and the problem with snot and drafts resolved itself. Of course, it was not possible to completely defeat the snot, but at least they appeared in the child no longer at home.

Of course, to feel the difference before and after using THION, you need live evidence. For these purposes, the company has another device - Tion MagicAir. I also brought him to the load. This is a separate small square white box powered by the mains. Outwardly, it resembles a router, only without an antenna. It can be hung on the wall, or you can not hang it, but put it on the table. As you please.

This is a smart microclimate system that collects all necessary information about the state of the air, and also gives commands to all household appliances located in the apartment - air conditioning, humidifier and so on. In our case, it is the breather.

Keeping track of all this data is easier than boiling a kettle - just install the MagicAir app on your smartphone and follow all the changes in real time. All data is displayed on the screen of your phone, in this program you can change many parameters. Good toy.

What is especially great is the ability to control the breather from a distance. That is, being on the other side of the city, you can turn the device on or off. To do this, you only need the Internet on your phone and home WI-FI.

The size of the breather is comparable to a suitcase. Not a huge Soviet, but a neat modern suitcase. In appearance, especially in the box, it looks rather bulky, but first impressions are deceptive. After he settled on the wall, I stopped paying attention to him at all, besides, the device has a nice design - it won’t spoil it with its appearance. general interior Which, by the way, I don't have. Therefore, in my case, it definitely will not spoil. If you compare Tion with an air conditioner, there are differences in appearance - the breather has compact dimensions, there is no external unit, the installation of the breather is much simpler than that of the air conditioner.

Now about filters. How does it all work? The device has three filters - filter F7, it cleans from coarse dust, HEPA filter E11, it removes fine dust and an AK (Adsorption Catalytic Filter) harmful gas filter. According to the manufacturer, the filters are enough on average for a year or two, sometimes three, depending on how dirty and dusty it is outside the window. Filters are inexpensive, from 1500 to 2000 apiece. That is, the maintenance of the unit will not cost a pretty penny.

HEPA filters have, by the way, a medical cleaning standard. They retain the smallest dust, allergens, viruses, mold.

AK filter - a thunderstorm of harmful exhausts, industrial gases and smoke.

Also, the device is equipped with a fan with four speeds and a ceramic heater, which is relevant in winter period. The breather model in this review is the most “fancy” and stands on this moment 29900. The manufacturer has more budget models. Briefly key differences and prices:

LITE for residents of warm regions, it does not have air heating and has one F7 coarse dust filter (price 21,300), BASE for cities with good ecology, it has air heating and an F7 coarse dust filter (price 26,900) and STANDARD for residents of megacities, which has air heating, an F7 coarse dust filter, a HEPA fine dust filter and an AK filter against harmful gases (price 28,900). With a difference of a thousand, the MAC is compatible with the Magic Air system, which I wrote about above. Of course, the latter option can be safely called a "smart" home system.

Again, about prices. Compared to air conditioners with fresh air, the breather is very cheap.

Another very important thing is in TION. Let's say you bought the most cheap option breather for 21 thousand. There and in any other model, you can separately install filters.

Since I myself did not consider how much electricity the breather “eats”, and this question, I think, is urgent for many, I had to turn to the experience of comrade Viktor Borisov (http://victorborisov.livejournal.com/270851.html). So, he these figures are 100-150 kWh per month, per year - 394 kWh.

So, it's time to sum up, compare the pros and cons.

Let's start, perhaps with cons:

— Price. For some, 30 thousand is a lot of money. However good split the system will cost at least 100 thousand rubles. Underline the word "minimum".
- Absence self installation. This is a disadvantage for those who have itchy hands to do everything themselves. I don't itch here.

So the pros:

- clean fresh air
— variability of device control
- getting rid of ventilation and drafts
— air heating
- almost imperceptible mode of operation
- steep hole in the wall

Obviously, the pros outweigh, but the main advantage, of course, is health. I emphasize that the test of the breather lasted almost two months and during this time it completely suited us.

In the end, it should be said that the breather is not able to replace the humidifier or air conditioner, it turns out that the breather and air conditioner decide different tasks and perfectly complement each other, providing fresh, clean warm or cold indoor air.

The sad reality is that the split system magically was 3 in 1, that is, at the same time a humidifier, a breather and an air conditioner, you will have to pay a lot of money. According to the installer, this is more than 200 thousand rubles, such systems are usually installed in commercial premises, offices. Now I do not need to install a separate air conditioner - not at that time of the year. Let's see what happens in the summer. If it's hot, I'll think about installing an air conditioner, but with the main tasks - to purify the air, heat it up and serve it fresh, Tion copes with a bang. And at this stage, that's enough for me.

For those who have read to the end - here is the device on the official website.

I would like to hear your experience of using similar devices, possibly other companies. Be sure to leave your opinion in the comments.

Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

Does the breather cool the air? What is the difference between a breather and an air conditioner?

The air conditioner cools the air, but does not ventilate the room (does not supply fresh air from the street for breathing) and does not relieve stuffiness when the windows are closed. Outdoor unit air conditioner is needed to cool the coolant, from it to indoor unit only a thin tube with freon goes, and air from the street is not supplied to the room. The breather does not cool the air, but ventilates the room, supplying purified air from the street. The main function of the breather is to provide the necessary fresh air for breathing, to get rid of stuffiness with the windows closed. Thus, the breather and the air conditioner complement each other, allowing both to cool the room and supply fresh purified air from the street, getting rid of stuffiness.

What is the difference between a breather and an air cleaner, air washer and more?

Air purifiers and air washers do not provide an influx of fresh air, "chasing" the air inside the room. Depending on the level of the purifier, it may be better or worse at removing pollutants from the air, however, closed window it will be stuffy. If you open the window, all the dirt and allergens from the street will pour into the apartment, as a result, the efficiency of the cleaner will become barely noticeable against the background of the flow of dust and dirt from the window.
Breezer, on the contrary, does not “drive” the air inside the apartment, but purifies the street air, supplying it inside. At the same time, dirty air inside the apartment is replaced with clean air and forced out through a natural exhaust. Thus, the breather not only performs the function of a cleaner, but also does much more - it eliminates not only pollutants and allergens, but also stuffiness with closed windows.

Does the breather humidify the air? What is the difference between a breather and a humidifier?

The breather does not have a humidification function. It supplies air with the same absolute humidity into the room as it does outside. If the room is humid, and the street is dry, due to the operation of the breather, the humidity is normalized. A humidifier increases the humidity inside the room, but does not relieve stuffiness. If the humidity of the outdoor air is too low for you, then a humidifier can be used with the breather.
In what rooms is it better to install a breather?
The device is recommended to be installed in those rooms where people spend the maximum amount of their time, i.e. where they “breathe” the most: nursery, bedroom, living room. One appliance can serve one room.

What is the best breather supply valve?

The efficiency of the inlet valve directly depends on the operation of the hood. If the hood does not work well, then the valve will work poorly. Also, the valve has practically no cleaning and no heating. AT winter time it delivers cold air creating drafts and can even freeze. The Breezer also has low-noise fans, three-stage cleaning and climate-controlled heating. Thus, the Breezer will supply clean, fresh and heated air to the predetermined temperature into the room.

How to check the efficiency of the hood?

Very simple, open the window in the room and lean a regular A4 sheet against the exhaust outlet in the kitchen or toilet. The sheet should stick. If it does not stick, then the hood is not working properly.

Why can the extractor hood work poorly?

First, the exhaust duct may be clogged. It is often not possible to clean it. Secondly, the operation of the hood is provided by a pressure drop in the exhaust duct. This difference is provided by the following factors:
1. Temperature difference. When it is cool outside and the room is warm, the difference is good and the hood works well. When it is warm outside and the room is warm, there is no difference and the hood does not work well. AT hot weather the hood may even start working in reverse side and you will smell the smells that will come to you from the neighbors.
2. The height of the exhaust duct. Simply put, the higher you live, the worse the hood works. On the last and penultimate floors of the house, the hoods usually practically do not work.
3. Forced air injection into the room. This is exactly what Breezer provides. It creates excessive air pressure, which forces the air to move towards the hood, taking with it the pollution and odors that form inside the room.

Can the room be ventilated with an exhaust fan?

The exhaust fan is only effective if there is air flow. If you close plastic windows and turn on the fan, you will only get the effect of rarefaction (as when an airplane takes off, it can even lay your ears), but the ventilation effect will be close to zero and you will not get fresh air. It can be provided by opening windows or by installing a valve, which will lead to the corresponding problems - drafts, freezing, street dust and dirt.
At the same time, for Breezer to work exhaust fan not needed, because The breather itself creates pressure, which will force the air to go into the hood.

Why is a breather better than an Aeropack ventilator?

Aeropack has no heating at all and has poor air purification (50% versus 99% for Breezer).

How often should Tion O2 be turned on?

It is recommended to use the breather around the clock. If there are people in the room, they constantly “eat up” oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, which means that the influx of fresh air must be constant, like the breathing of people. If there are no people in the room, it is still recommended not to turn off the device: furniture, Decoration Materials and pets can constantly excrete harmful substances, allergens and odors. The influx of fresh, clean air from the breather will force these contaminants into the natural exhaust, so when you return to the room, the air will be clean and fresh. We recommend turning off the breather only for a period prolonged absence.

How many appliances do I need for my house, apartment or office?

The simple answer is one appliance per room.
A more detailed calculation can be made by the number of people in the room and by its area. According to SNiP 31-01-2003, 30 m3 of fresh air per hour should be supplied per person or, according to SP 54.13330.2011 - 3 m3/hour per 1 m2 of premises. The capacity of Tion O2 is up to 120 m3/hour, respectively, one Tion O2 unit provides fresh air for up to 4 people in one room up to 40 m2. As a rule, devices are installed in rooms where people are constantly present.

How is the breather installed and how difficult is the installation?

The Tion O2 Breezer is easier to install than an air conditioner. The main task during installation is to make a hole in the wall with a diameter of 132mm. Installation of the device usually takes about 1 hour and will not harm your repair. Eros installation teams use professional equipment for diamond drilling, which is connected to an industrial vacuum cleaner with water supply to wet the dust. This allows you not to leave dirt and dust after work.

Is it possible to install the device in a house with an insulated facade?

Can. When communicating with the operator, it is necessary to inform about the presence of a ventilated facade on the house and clarify its material. If this facing brick, then the installation is no different from the usual. If these are composite sheets, then it is only necessary to choose a place for the device so that the hole does not fall into the profile to which the facade sheets are attached. If this is porcelain stoneware, then there are 2 installation options: either install a ventilation duct "under the facade", without outlet to the outside, or drill through the ventilation facade, while the quality of the incoming air and the installation price will be the same in both options.

Is it necessary to coordinate the installation of the breather?

No, according to current building codes holes smaller than 200mm do not need to be approved. The hole is closed with a decorative grill from the street, so it does not spoil appearance building, as opposed to outdoor air conditioning units.

Does the thickness or material of the wall affect the ability to install a breather?

The breather can be installed on any wall - brick, reinforced concrete, wood, etc. at the same time, the installation cost will be fixed for any wall thickness.

I have a loggia behind the outer wall, how can I install the Tion O2 breather?

There are 3 options:
1. If there are no plastic windows on the loggia or their constant position in the ventilation mode is allowed, then you can install the breather so that it takes air directly from the loggia. This does not interfere with the flow of fresh air either in summer or in winter. In addition, in winter, even on an uninsulated loggia, the temperature is higher than the street temperature, which will allow you to spend even less energy on heating the air. This installation option is common in new houses, where the loggias are glazed already at the construction stage.
2. If there are sealed plastic windows on the loggia and / or the loggia is completely insulated, then two holes are made: one in the wall between the room and the loggia, the second - directly into outer wall loggias. A flexible duct connects both openings, the air is taken directly from the street. In this case, the device is located in the room in such a way as to minimize the length of the duct.
3. If the loggia is fully insulated and connected to the room, then the hole is made directly on the partition of the loggia and the device is placed on the partition. In this case, it is necessary that the door to the loggia always remain open.

How much does the Tion O2 breather cost?

The breather in the standart configuration costs 27,900 rubles without installation, in the base configuration - 25,900 rubles, light - 21,300 rubles. The delivery set includes: installation with a cascade of filters (in the standart configuration) or with one f7 basic filter (in the base and light configurations), a remote control, a mounting template, an instruction manual, a warranty card.

How much does it cost to install a Tion O2 breather?

The cost of installing Tion O2 depends on the region. The lower bar recommended by Tion at the cost of installation is 4000 rubles.

How often do filters need to be changed?

Tion O2 Standard uses 3 filters at the same time: basic F7 (pre-cleaning), high-performance HEPA filter H11 and adsorption-catalytic filter. The recommended period for replacing a set of filters, subject to periodic cleaning of the base filter with a vacuum cleaner, is once a year. Eros undertakes to remind its customers of the possible need to replace filters after a period of time agreed with the customer.

How much do Tion O2 filters cost and where can I buy them?

The basic f7 filter costs 1590 rubles, the high-performance hepa filter is 1990 rubles, the adsorption-catalytic filter is 1590 rubles. You can order filters by calling 8-800-500-57-36 from any city in Russia or by leaving a request on the website

How much electricity does the device consume?

In the mode of operation without heating up to 40 watts. At maximum power heating from -40 s to + 25 s - 1.3 kW. On average, energy consumption during the year will be about 100 kW per month.

Can Tion O2 filters be washed or vacuumed?

How noisy is the device?

At the first speed, the device works no noisier than an air conditioner, and this does not interfere with most people's sleep. The noise level of the second and third speeds does not exceed 40 dB (A), which does not cause discomfort for most people during the daytime. Therefore, at night it is recommended to use the first speed, and in the daytime - the second or third. The fourth speed (turbo mode) is designed to quickly ventilate the room and is usually used after turning off the device for a long time.

At what temperature does Tion O2 work?

The system operates at an air temperature at the inlet to the device from -40C to +50C. At temperatures below -40C and above +50C, the device automatically turns off the air supply from the street and closes the damper.

Which guarantee period on Tion O2?

1 year from the date of sale. The company "Eros" undertakes full warranty and post-warranty maintenance of devices. If the device fails, we will come and take the device for diagnostics and repair, and for this time we will install a replacement device for the client free of charge. Thus, our customers do not experience discomfort due to possible problems with the device.

What is the duration of the breather and what is it due to?

The standard operating life of the device is 5 years. However, this is largely a conditional figure, more important for the buyer's accounting for the possibility of depreciation and write-off of equipment. The actual service life is much longer. This situation is similar to cars - normative term service life on a car is about 6 years, while we understand that with careful handling and timely maintenance and repair, cars “run” for 50 years. Therefore, the breather will last 10 years or more, with careful handling and timely maintenance and repair.

Where to contact in case of breakdown / failure of the device?

The company "Eros" undertakes full warranty and post-warranty maintenance of devices. If the device fails, we will come and take the device for diagnostics and repair, and for this time we will install a replacement device for the client free of charge. Thus, our customers do not experience discomfort due to possible problems with the device.

Where is the device manufactured?

The breather was developed in the Academgorodok of the city of Novosibirsk: Producer: TION group of companies, Novosibirsk. Address: Russia, 630090, Novosibirsk, st. Engineering, 20. The main stages of the assembly of devices are made in China according to the manufacturer's documentation (GK TION) and under his control. The final assembly of devices, their testing and completion with filters is carried out in Novosibirsk.

I want to share the experience of a three-year operation of a compact ventilation system in a city apartment. At the moment, the supply ventilation is fully automated and does not require any control and management on my part. And I am calm about the air quality in our apartment, because. I know that the air we breathe is fresh and clean. We began to always get enough sleep, rarely get sick and forgot about stuffiness and autumn-winter depression.

So, first things first. Go!

Fresh and clean air is not a luxury, but the basis for the life of any organism. The thing is that living beings (including people) absorb oxygen and emit carbon dioxide. The high concentration of carbon dioxide in the inhaled air negatively affects the performance of the brain, causing drowsiness, depression and loss of energy. Also, the concentration of carbon dioxide is a generally accepted marker of indoor air quality and is used to assess the efficiency of ventilation systems. After all, people are the source of CO2, and if a high concentration of carbon dioxide is noted in the air, then in the same air there is a high concentration of various microorganisms - and this is already a source of viruses and, therefore, the risk of developing allergic and asthmatic diseases.

There are still many misconceptions in the world. For example, many people still think that air conditioning and ventilation are one and the same. Unfortunately, this is completely different systems(but sometimes they can be combined). The air conditioner itself only cools the internal air of the room, without providing fresh air. Therefore, the installation of an air conditioner cannot replace the ventilation system. All household split systems operate exclusively in recirculation mode (with the exception of several models equipped with an air supply duct, but its performance is not enough even for one person in the room).

One person in a calm state (not engaged in heavy physical or mental work) absorbs about 25-30 liters of oxygen per hour and exhales about 20-25 liters of carbon dioxide (CO2). At the moment, the average street level of CO2 on our planet is 400 ppm (parts per million, particles per million). The concentration of CO2 in the earth's atmosphere began to increase actively in the middle of the last century, when mankind was actively engaged in the extraction and combustion of hydrocarbons. In 1950, the concentration of CO2 in the earth's atmosphere was only 300 ppm, and according to the most pessimistic forecasts, the concentration of CO2 could reach 800 ppm already in 2060 (I hope that this will not come to that). In megacities, the concentration of CO2 is slightly higher than in nature. Also, CO2 levels vary slightly throughout the year, this is due to the fact that a side effect of plant photosynthesis is the absorption of carbon dioxide - at the end of summer, the level of CO2 is minimal, and at the end of spring it is maximum. I also note that photosynthesis is possible only in sunlight, and at night, plants, like people, emit carbon dioxide (therefore, flowers on the windowsill will not help you much).

Numerous studies over the past 60 years show that even at a CO2 concentration of 900 ppm, the performance of the brain is reduced by 2 times. At the same time, to assess the quality of the ventilation system, a CO2 index not exceeding 1000 ppm is used. In general, air quality up to 1000 ppm can be considered satisfactory. In fact, in poorly ventilated rooms, the concentration of CO2 can be 1500-2000 ppm. Long-term stay in such premises has an extremely negative impact on health and quality of life. The situation is aggravated in the cold season, when the windows are closed and the air is stopped (or they do it too rarely).

So, we take the most ordinary apartment in which you live. According to the most rough estimates, you spend at least 50% of your life in an apartment. But in reality, more than 2/3 of all the time any person spends indoors. Therefore, it is very important to breathe fresh and clean air during all this time. this will directly affect your life expectancy and your emotional state.

The easiest way to get fresh (but not necessarily clean) air is to always keep a window open to the outside. But, unfortunately, it is not always effective. First, the window must be open all the time. And this means that if the windows face the street, then in the apartment you will not only be noisy, but also dusty. Secondly, in the cold season you will get a draft and most likely freeze (due to unregulated and excessive air exchange). Thirdly, the “performance” of the window will depend on the time of year (this is due to the draft in the common house exhaust ventilation shaft) and it will be impossible to automate it.

An ideal and elusive option in a city apartment is the device of a full-fledged duct ventilation system. The main problem is that to install such ventilation system possible only at the stage overhaul apartments. It will require a lower ceiling height and will be very expensive - the budget of such a system can only be profitable if the apartment has more than 4 rooms and its area is over 100 square meters. Duct ventilation should definitely be done in a freshly built country house.

In all other cases, it is more rational to use compact supply ventilation in each living room. I have been using one of these systems since the fall of 2014. This is a Russian development from the Novosibirsk Akademgorodok. The system is constantly being improved and is objectively the best on the market in terms of characteristics and cost.

This is the Tion Breezer O2 of the second modification (the first modification had 3 speeds instead of 4 and was installed by me from October 2014 to October 2015) with the support of the Magic Air control station - I have been using it since the summer of 2015. We have two-roomed flat and in next room installed exactly the same breather.

Both breathers are controlled automatically using this Magic Air station equipped with temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide concentration sensors. The station itself is connected to the Internet via wi-fi and can be controlled via a smartphone from anywhere in the world (and it is powered by usb from the nearest hub). Automating the system is incredibly simple. I simply set the target CO2 concentration in the room (700 ppm), and based on the actual measurements, the station controls the operation of the breather. If people left the apartment - the station gives a command to turn off the supply ventilation, as soon as a person appears in the room (CO2 sensor allows you to determine the presence of people in the room within a few seconds!) The ventilation starts again. If guests come, the ventilation performance increases. As a result, the system does not require our intervention at all, and we always know that the air in the house is fresh and clean.

Now the most interesting. The filters in the system have not been changed for two (!) years. I periodically vacuumed the primary filter (about 2 times a year). See this dirt? Now, if you keep the window open, then all this dirt will be in your lungs. After installing the supply ventilation, all the dust in our apartment turned white (and not gray or black).

And this is a comparison of the new and after two years of operation of HEPA filters. It is HEPA that traps the main pollutants. In principle, the filter is still serviceable, since the entire burden of coarse filtration falls on the primary filter. And such great resource filters due to the huge area of the filtering surface.

New set of replacement filters. The third filter is a carbon filter that absorbs odors. He has the most short term services (which is not surprising, since its area is several times smaller than that of the first and second filters), but our windows face the courtyard, so there are almost no extraneous smells in the street air under our windows. In the reality carbon filter in our conditions it is worth changing about 1-2 times a year.

The whole set of three filters costs 5 thousand rubles. It's funny when they try to save on them - it's the health of your family. By the way, if you are interested, on the breather in the next room, as an experiment, I used a Filtron K1042 cabin filter similar in size from a Mercedes Actros truck (it fits almost perfectly in size, I studied car filter catalogs for a long time) - there is an effect, but the filter surface area is 2.5 times smaller than the original, which means more frequent replacement will be required.

No less interesting is the performance measurement. Left with old filters, right with new ones. Measurements at the second speed (60 m3/h). The error is within the accuracy of the anemometer, here we compare air flow with different filters, so accuracy is not important to us. At maximum speed, the difference is larger, but in practice it does not matter because. our breathers are operated only at 1 and 2 speeds (there is simply no need for greater productivity, the constant number of people in the apartment is 3 people).

A concern for many is the question of energy consumption. I already posted measurements last year when the breather was connected to the network through a separate wattmeter throughout the year. As a result, it turned out to be about 400 kWh / year with round-the-clock operation at the second speed (at that time there was no Magic Air station that allows you to control the breather automatically, so we simply did not turn it off). According to Moscow tariffs, this is less than 2,000 rubles a year. We have two breathers, so we pay about 4,000 rubles a year for the comfort and health of our family. If we had an electric stove in our apartment, then we would have to pay 30% less.

As for air heating, as you can see, the supply air heating temperature is set to +5 degrees on the display, and only during severe frosts (below -10 degrees) I manually increase it to +8-10 degrees. The supply air needs to be slightly warmed up to avoid drafts and moisture condensation, but since all residential apartment buildings have standards for heating, taking into account natural ventilation through leaks in the enclosing structures (gaps in window frames), then if you have sealed double-glazed windows, then you will get redundant in the apartment high temperature(more than 25 degrees). Ideal when the breather is installed next to pipes or radiators central heating. Also, the supply air is heated while it passes through the wall and the body of the breather itself.

Tion Breezer O2 has been installed in our bedroom since October 2014. There were no breakdowns during operation, except for a couple of cases associated with freezing of the upper part of the body in severe frosts (without any consequences for the breather itself) - this is due to the peculiarity of the air channel insulation according to the technology that was used in 2014 (since then the technology has been changed to use a slightly larger hole with the best insulation and tight fit to the inlet). Our windows are original, installed in 1958, which I independently restored and insulated 50 years later, during the overhaul of the apartment in 2008. Since the installation of the breather, we have stopped opening the window at all, and we open the frames twice a year only to wash the windows.

It is especially worth noting that the HEPA filter retains and does not let plant pollen and mold spores into the apartment, which is extremely important for allergy sufferers. In addition to pollen, there are many other things in urban air, and emissions are unpredictable and not tangible. The presence of such microcleaners can only be detected by a PM2.5 particle sensor. The HEPA filter also filters out these particles. It's one thing you breathe dust for an hour on a walk, but it's quite another thing when you breathe it for at least 10 hours a day while you are in your apartment.

Fresh supply air is needed in residential premises not only to reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide harmful to a person (which he himself exhales). Every apartment has a lot of wooden furniture, in the production of which glues and varnishes are used. The emission of formaldehydes from furniture is maximum at the first time after manufacture (the same smell of new furniture), but still continues throughout the entire service life of the products. This smell is well felt if you enter an inhabited apartment, where there were no people for a long time and the windows were closed. Therefore, even in an empty apartment without people, it is necessary to supply fresh air in order to displace the air saturated with volatile organic compounds.

And more briefly about the breathers. Now the breather has become cheaper, the basic version without heating costs less than 20 thousand rubles. And the most complete set with filters and a radio module for control using Magic Air will cost 25 thousand rubles. Another 4 thousand rubles will cost installation using a diamond drilling rig (in one hour without dust and dirt). Additionally, you can buy a Magic Air station for 10 thousand rubles, which will automate the operation of the breather and visually see the efficiency of the supply ventilation.

A good option is to first buy a Magic Air station, see clearly the concentration of CO2 in your apartment, and then decide to install a breather. By the way, there is a very simple way to quickly assess the freshness of the air in the room: you need to go outside for a few minutes, and then go back into the room. The air in the room should not differ at all from the street and have any smells.

And more recently, such a cool option for purchase has appeared, like breathers with mileage. They are on average 10 thousand rubles cheaper than new ones. The simplest three-speed will cost only 11 thousand rubles. They are also covered by a 1 year warranty, and the difference from the new ones will be only in the absence of HEPA and AK filters (they can be purchased separately, if necessary).

But in general, I think that it makes no sense to save on your own health.

If you decide to choose the Tion O2 breather, you will be interested to read reviews of this equipment. The system is a forced domestic ventilation that can be used in an office, home or apartment.

Main advantages

The compact breather provides airing of the room at the closed windows. At the same time, saturated oxygen is supplied inside. If the Tion O2 breather is not installed in the room - domestic supply ventilation for the apartment, then it will be stuffy inside the building, the air will be dirty and unhealthy, and also difficult to breathe.

The need to use

If you ventilate the rooms with open windows, then you may encounter the problem of drafts, the penetration of gases, dust, noise and allergens. The Tion O2 breather, reviews of which are often only positive, guarantees fresh and clean air, provided that it is protected from noise, drafts and bad ecology.

Consumer feedback on installation features

Breezer "Tion O2", reviews, the installation (description of the process, in particular) of which you should study before starting work, is often chosen by buyers for the reason that the installation steps take very little time, the manipulations last about an hour. In this case, you will not encounter the occurrence of dirt or dust, and you can carry out these works even with a final repair.

Before the “Tion O2” breather (domestic supply ventilation) is installed, the masters must make calculations, however, if you decide to carry out the manipulations yourself, then you need to be guided general principles. According to users, one device will be enough for a room with an area of 40 square meters or less. At the same time, up to 4 people can be in the room at the same time.

Users like that the case has a small size, its height, width and depth are 511 x 451 x 163 mm. Breezer "Tion O2", reviews of which you can read in the article, can also be installed under the ceiling. According to the owners of small apartments, this location is the most optimal for them. This will allow you to use the remote control.

When diamond drilling, the masters use a vacuum cleaner, which is why you will not encounter debris, dust and dirt. At the next stage, the air intake channel is sound and heat insulated from the outside, and is also closed with a grill.

If you decide to install the Tion O2 breather, it is recommended to read reviews about this equipment in advance. This will allow you to do right choice, sorted out in a wide range presented by modern stores.

At the final stage, as noted by the owners of this system, the ventilation is connected to the air intake duct. In this case, the masters use the mounting template, as well as the fasteners that are included in the delivery. The system is connected to a 220 volt outlet.

Main characteristics

Breezer "Tion O2", the instructions for use of which are supplied in the kit, are often compared by consumers with a traditional air conditioner. However, users claim that they quality characteristics are strikingly different from each other. Thus, the last version of the equipment only cools the air using the one that is in the room. This is because the outdoor air conditioner unit is only a heat exchanger and not a fan. The difference of the breather is that it supplies fresh air from the street, purifying the heated air masses, and then supplying them to the room. To create a more comfortable microclimate inside the building, you can use air conditioning and a breather in tandem, which complement each other.

Breather "Tion O2", specifications which you will be interested to know, is also compared with an air cleaner, as well as air washers. Here you can highlight the same basic qualities, which are that the air cleaner drives the masses inside the room, however, with the window closed, the room will be quite stuffy.

If you cannot choose between a breather and a humidifier, then you should lean towards the first option, which is able to normalize the humidity of the air inside the room by supplying masses from the outside. The humidifier is able to increase the level of the corresponding indicator, but is not able to cope with stuffiness. If humidity outside air is too low for owners, a humidifier can be used with this equipment.

Breezer "Tion O2", the technical characteristics of which will help you decide which equipment to incline your choice towards, is recommended to be used around the clock. This is due to the fact that people in the room constantly produce carbon dioxide. It is recommended to turn off the device only for a period of long absence of the owners.

Owners of apartments and private houses are also often interested in how many appliances should be inside the building. If you follow SNiP 31-01-2003, then one person should account for 30 cubic meters fresh air per hour. The performance of the described device is 120 cubic meters for a given period. This indicates that one unit will be able to provide fresh air to four people who are in one room of 40 square meters.

To carry out the installation, it is recommended to involve certified specialists who have the skills and abilities for diamond surface drilling. If there is a need to install the device in a building whose facade is insulated, then it is recommended to warn the installation team in advance about this. This is due to the fact that the holes will have to be made not only in the tile ventilation facade but also in the wall itself.

Features of using multiple ducts

If you decide to use the Tion O2 Standard breather, the reviews will help not only with the choice, but also with the installation. If there is a need to connect the equipment to the street through several air ducts, although it is possible to carry out such work, the performance will vary in accordance with certain parameters. Thus, if a 0.5 meter pipe is used, a rounded elbow that has a 90 degree bend, then the performance decrease will be 10%. If a right connecting angle is added to the set described above, then the reduction will be 15%. The additional addition of a rectangular pipe that is equivalent to one meter in length will result in a 20% reduction in performance.

If you use the Tion O2 breather, domestic ventilation of this type will solve all the existing climate problems inside the building. However, one should not forget about the timely replacement of filters, which is quite simple. Service this device is very simple, and you can do it yourself, without involving the help of professionals. The change procedure will take no more than 2 minutes. And you have to purchase a basic filter and an adsorption-catalytic one.
