Question about gasboiler Lemax:
Good day. I have a Lemax floor boiler, there is a red button and a white one. My boiler does not start automatically, the wick is on, but it only turns on when I set the gas regulator to zero, and then I raise the temperature and the boiler starts up, please tell me what is my problem there, otherwise we measure at night. Help me figure it out.
Sergei

Answer:
hello come on, Sergey. Your problem is this: you have a stem wedge in the middle of the automation.

Question about Lemax KSG-20:
Welcome all. Tell me, I have such a problem: The Lemax KSG-20d boiler dies out, I have it with a GTU-24d burner, if the wind blows on the igniter. The gas workers have already changed the thermocouple three times, but it seems that they themselves do not understand anything. What is the problem?
Vasily Vasilievich.

Answer:
Hello yte, Vasily Vasilyevich. Your problem is this: when you turn on the main burner, this leads to a decrease in the fuel supply to the pilot, and this turns on the automatic boiler protection. You only need to increase the fuel supply to the pilot burner. This happens mainly and that that the pressure in the system drops. It can also happen due to h and overturning draft in the chimney due to its improper installation.

Question about Lemax KSG-20:
I have a Lemax KSG-20 boiler. Tell me please, in my house there are about 180 square meters and in the system somewhere 280 liters of water. Is this amount of water enough for my system for the Lemax KSG-20 boiler or not?
Peter.
Answer:
Hello come on, Peter. The calculation of water for the system is as follows: for one kilowatt, about twelve to fourteen liters of water are needed. Thanks a question.

Question about the gas boiler Lemax KSG-30:

Good day to you. I bought a Lemax boiler, which is up to three hundred square meters. The installer connected everything for me. Now the boiler is constantly working, in other words, the boiler does not turn off after it heats up to the desired temperature. Ha is consumed constantly, no savings. Why does the boiler not turn off when it has heated the room to the right temperature?

Stepan Vladimirovich.

Answer:
Hello, Stepan Vladimirovich, there may be several reasons for this behavior of gas equipment, however, you have the following problem:

- The power of the boiler is incorrectly selected and it is not enough for your area. We recommend using our equipment selection services in the future, especially since it is absolutely free. The water in the system does not move by itself - the pump overtakes it, and the Lemax boiler may simply not have time to heat it up by a couple of degrees (inside the boiler, not the system) and the automation does not work for the volume of water that the pump manages to overtake. This means that it is best for you to use the pump for a short time (no more than five minutes) so that the temperature can equalize in all places of heating. At another time better pump disable. We recommend that you contact us at 8-029-123-9999 for a more detailed consultation.

Question about the Lemax floor boiler:

I have my own two-story house, the heating area is about three hundred and fifty square meters. We bought a cast-iron Lemax and installed it two years ago hell. Now we have big problems the boiler constantly dies out, and you have to constantly approach it and turn it on again, I light it now it happens for two hours in a row. When I hold the button igniter, then it seems that ha does not enter the burners at all. What should I do?
Answer:

Good afternoon. The problem lies in the connectors of the draft sensor, it is necessary to remove it and check if everything is in order. Our specialist can come to you at any time convenient for you.

Question about the Lemax KSG-7.5 boiler:

Hello Wait, I have had a Lemax Ksg-7.5 boiler for eight years now. At first he worked perfectly well for three years, no zia at all. But in the fourth year emerged small problems with ro burning. The boiler is switched off all the time. I turned off the draft and overheating sensor, and the solenoid valve broke down altogether. Ro button ignition is inconvenient, especially if you have to turn on the boiler all the time.
Answer:
Turn the draft sensor back on - the reason is not in it. Solenoid valve needs to be replaced. Contact us at the phone number indicated on the website and our specialist will go to the site to find the reason for the boiler shutdown.

Question about the Lemax KSG-12.5 boiler:

I have a Lemax KSG 12.5D boiler with a GGU-15D burner. Recently, the boiler went out and once it is impossible to burn it. What is the reason?
Answer:
The most likely reason for this behavior of the boiler is clogging of the pilot burner jet (pilot). To fix the problem, you need to unscrew the thermocouple nut, which is located a little to the right igniter. Next, it must be taken a little to the side and unscrew the nut from the apron. Then take the jet tube and blow it. The fault must be corrected.

Question about the Lemax KSG-16 boiler:
I have a Lemax KSG 16 boiler. The amount of water in the system is 230 liters. The boiler cannot push through CO. For some reason, Lemax does not throw water through the air tube into the expansion tank. It works silently and does not knock anywhere. But when the boiler is heated to 90 degrees, it turns off, then cools down for a while and starts working again. But the output is only 60 degrees. How to be?
Answer:

You need to turn off the thermostat, then there will be plenty of water. The amount of water in the system for this Lemax model is sufficient, but with a pump it will be much more economical.

Question about the Sit 710 burning system in the Lemax boiler:

I have a Sit710 automatic in my boiler and my wick goes out when I release the ignition button. When I closed the circuit with two wires from the outside, everything started working. What can be done?

Answer:
Boiler operation with shorted thermocouples is not recommended. If the supply stops ha for, then the thermocouple should disconnect and shut off the gas supply a, thereby eliminating the leak. But the thermocouple has a very poor quality soldering, so the wick burns out quickly. It is expensive, and it happens that it is not enough for the heating season. In practice, a lot of boilers work with shorted thermocouples. However, the manufacturer of gas boilers Lemax does not recommend doing this!

Question about the Lemax KSG-10 boiler:
Tell me why my boiler turns off, especially if there is wind and bad weather outside. How can the issue be resolved?
Answer:
When you light the igniter, the solenoid valve should work in twenty seconds. When the igniter goes out, the solenoid valve turns off after ten seconds. When it does, you will hear a click.

Question about Lemax KSG-12.5:
When I turn off the burner, only the apron burns. In this case, the fire flies out, which is quite a dangerous thing, after all. h! What's going on with the boiler?
Answer:

You don't have a chimney draft. This happens when the channels of the heat exchanger are contaminated with soot. You need the help of a specialist that we can provide you with.

Question about Lemax KSG-16:

Help me please. In 2010, we bought a completely new LEmax 16 boiler. And from the very beginning there were problems with its ignition, as soon as we release the ignition button, the wick immediately goes out. I tried to hold the button for a very long time, but it does not help. It takes several hours of time sometimes! And only then the wick somehow starts to burn. Came ha callers and said something with contacts. They did not explain with any contacts, nor what we should do now. How can we be?

Answer:

You need to disable the draft sensor. This sensor is located reverse side boiler. After that, the problem will be fixed. You also need to check whether the automatic protection works when the gas is turned off.

Question about Lemax KSG-10:

My boiler won't turn on. How can I turn it on?

Answer:

The most likely reason is that the thermocouple contacts have oxidized and burned out. First, try to carefully clean the thermocouple contacts. If cleaning the contacts at the Lemax boiler does not help, then this thermocouple must be replaced.

Question Lemax KSG-10:

I installed a Lemax 10 boiler with miniSIT automation. From the very beginning, I had problems with the ignition. You have to press the button ignition and slowly let it go, but it’s worth letting go a little bit too bad, then igniter right here fades out. With any sudden movement, the gas is cut off and that's it. I was tired of all this and I began to close the contacts that go to the thrust sensor on the automation itself. I waited for the boiler to warm up, it took at least half an hour, and then once I opened the contacts and the automation began to work as usual. After a while, this stopped working, you just need to remove the jumper that closes the contacts. I wanted to change the thrust sensor, but it did not help, although I tried several options. There is a possibility that the automation is broken. What do you advise?
Answer:
For exact definition failure, you need to do the following:

1) Check the heating of the thermocouple behind the igniter. How hard does the fire process the end?
2) Check the degree of contamination of the air holes in ignition burner. Clean if necessary.
3) Has normal soldering been preserved in contact of terminals with wires?

4) Check how far the adapter near the gas valve is tightened, wires and a thermocouple are pulled from there.
5) The miniSIT 710 valve has proven itself as reliable equipment, but in the process of use it is possible clogging of the holes, and, to eliminate the breakdown, you need to clean them.

Question about the Lemax K-PLUS boiler:

In my boiler, Lemax k-plus sometimes shows an E5 error, but the boiler is working, and if you restart it several times h, then it starts to show error E9. Moreover, E5 also constantly shows. In the summer, they replaced the pneumatic relay, but this did not help. Chere For a couple of months I changed the entire board, but this did not help either. How can I solve the problem?
Answer:

You need to measure the voltage on the board. then measure the voltage at the contacts of the pressure switch. There is a possibility that the problem is in bad contacts. A passing zero is needed, and by fa ze regulation.

Question about the Lemax-10 boiler:
I bought a new gas boiler Lemax-10. Boiler keeps shutting down. I called the gas oviks, they all looked and said that the problem was in the old chimney, and first they needed to solve the problem with it. My old boiler has worked with this chimney for more than twenty years without problems. Why does the Lemax boiler constantly go out?
Answer:

You need to check the chimney draft. There is a possibility that when burning, the fire does not hit the thermal relay. In this case, the automation decides that the fire has died out and cuts off ha for your safety. h. This malfunction may appear due to a breakdown of the nozzle, or its contamination.

Question about LEMAX boiler:

Installed a LEMAX boiler in Vileyka. It does not come out to burn it. With the boiler is automatic Danko. As soon as I release the button, the wick goes out. Keep it pressed for at least an hour, but as soon as you let it go, the boiler goes out. I read your forum and followed all the instructions:

I checked how well the thermocouple is washed by the flame - enough.

I checked the draft of the chimney - there is enough draft.

I checked the gas pressure and it's ok too.

Cleaned, as they say on the forum, contacts.

But these tips didn't work for me either. One has only to release the button, the flame goes out and that's it. When the button is released, a metallic click is heard.
Answer:

Such a malfunction manifests itself with a poorly fixed thrust sensor. Try soldering the wires to the thrust sensor.

Question about LEMAX KSG-7.5 :

At one fine moment, the automation on the thermostat stopped working, sometimes it turns off. The thermostat knob works, the temperature gauge is normal. Batteries are all warmed up the same way. I have a Lemax KSG-7.5 boiler. Automation on the gas boiler is - Comfort. I don't understand what could be causing the failure.
Answer:
You need to replace the thermal system "bellows-thermoballoon".

Question about Lemax KSG-12:

Six years on ass set himself a gas boiler ovy Lemax KSG-12. My house is small, no more than 35 square meters in area. And, despite the low consumption, the water does not heat up more than sixty degrees. I have two batteries of 15 sections. I do not understand how I can make the temperature higher than it is now.
Answer:
Installing a circulation pump will help you. Sometimes the pressure in the gas line drops.

Gas boiler Lemax KGS 25 d on Italian automation. It does not turn off, it is constantly on, what could be the reason, tell me?

This unit has a gas valve Sit 710, it has the ability to modulate, if you have a high rate of decrease in the temperature of the coolant entering the return, the automation selects the flame modulation mode, and maintains the set temperature by the operation of the main burners without switching to a pilot burner. This mode of operation is standard if the thermal bulb of the automation is in working condition and maintains the set temperature, and does not overheat the coolant.

There is a question about the Lemax Ksg 20 boiler. The equipment is ordinary, I specially bought it for ease of maintenance. Installed and purchased in 2005. Very easy to turn on, but not to clean the soot. Until that time, it worked well, the exhaust pipe was made of brick, it was laid down 2 meters 2 years ago, it stopped blowing forever, there is a draft. But there was a problem, I can not solve it and find it. It was like this 1 time a year ago - the unit suddenly stopped warming up well and lets in a lot of carbon monoxide inside, through the ignition window, cracks - the smell is terrible. I cleaned it of soot as best I could, that is, I removed the burner, from the bottom through the tubes (water jacket) with a 0.5 meter metal ruler I cleaned everything from soot (checking through a small mirror with a lantern for control) and from above through the vertical exhaust hole as much as I could also - he earned. But yesterday, from 24:00 at night, the same problem returned and until 6:00 in the morning he dealt with it, also to no avail - it stinks inside, it goes carbon monoxide to the boiler room. I check the draft in the pipe - there is good, constant, there is also draft under the boiler from the match, but during operation and the ignition window is open, it blows gases into this window, even the match goes out and the door is all sooty, the gas burns badly - orange tongues. Where the gas nozzles (5 pcs.) are directed to the gas combustion tubes, there should be shims, but they were not installed. With a large opening of the gas supply valve, the fire leaves the igniter, and the boiler goes out - this was not the case before. I put it on the very minimum at 30 degrees, the fire is still holding on, and the waste is going the same way. I even tried to warm up the pipe gas burner 20-30 minutes with gas from the outside through the back door, it buzzes like in a steam locomotive, but the unit still behaves badly. I don't know what else needs to be done to make it work. I called the acting gas master, he also fiddled for 3 hours, removed the burner, washed it all out, blew and cleaned everything he could. He said that I Maintenance well, he says, wait 2-3 days, maybe the weather will change, and everything will work. Now the frost is -17 and the pressure is 773 mm Hg. By the way, there is a question, how should I clean this unit from soot, I can’t clean it well from above through the top exhaust hole, that’s all? And so the unit worked for so many years, during this time I changed 3 thermocouples and a rubber ring in a glass and that's it. But what about what doesn't work now?

You have a very old model with a strip heat exchanger, the production of these units, as far as I know, was discontinued in 2008. Such models must be serviced and cleaned annually. Not only the gas burner device, but also the heat exchanger itself.

I have such a problem, the main burner on the Lemax boiler (SIT 820 automatics) does not turn on, the wick is on, and the main burner either turns on or does not turn on, I changed the thermogenerator, the same problem, what should I do?

Possibly a traction problem.

The Lemax GGU 15P boiler is in operation. When the light is turned off, the unit heats up, and the batteries cool down. They heat up only when the external pump is turned on. Have we connected the boiler incorrectly? Specially chose not volatile.

The boiler is non-volatile, but when the light is turned off, an idle pump becomes a barrier when natural circulation, you need to make a bypass.

Boiler Premium 25N with GGU-30 floor-standing with a turbocharger. In the first season, that is, 3 months. The main burner began to go out despite the fact that the extension continues to work, after which the temperature drops accordingly. You cannot leave him unattended. I start it up again, it does not light up.

As far as I know, in these turbo nozzles, email has changed. scheme of operation, that is, initially the turbo nozzle pressure switch worked in a low voltage circuit with a mil. generator, after a certain period of time this voltage was not enough and the plant changed the circuit by installing an additional relay, which made it possible to transfer the pressure switch to a high voltage circuit, and a relay worked in the circuit with the generator, ensuring the stability of switching on and off the main burner. Check if you have this relay.

Model gas boiler Lemax Plus mt. After 10-15 minutes of work on heating the water supply system, there is a strong drawdown in temperature. For example, the temperature is 43, the boiler honestly gives it out for some time, and then the water temperature drops to about 25-30 degrees, after a minute it rises again to 43. But after another minute it is again 25-30. Moreover, the device does not seem to notice this, the displayed 43 are lit on the display. But in fact a bathroom with 30 degree water.

You need to check the operability of the DHW flow sensor (the so-called flowmeter). It is responsible for issuing a command to open the gas valve according to the amount of water passing through. Most likely, the sensor is out of order and the board does not understand how much gas needs to be supplied to the burner.

Boiler KSGV 30 d. Heats batteries well. The second circuit barely heats up. It's impossible to wash. All you have to do is urinate and wash your hair. Then comes cold water. It's impossible to take a bath. Even half. What is the reason? How to eliminate?

It's a clogged hot water circuit. You need to flush the circuit using a flushing station and a solution that will not harm the copper tubing. As a rule, service centers are engaged in this flushing.

I want to buy a gas floor boiler Lemax Premium KSG-16 or Premium nova. I have a question about burners. They use three burners - Eurosit 630, Minisit 710, Sit 820 Nova. The first two support smooth gas adjustment, and Nova sit 820 only works in the on / off mode. It seems that everyone is trying to get away from clocking when setting up the boiler, then why does the newest burner operate in this mode? What's the point? It is clear that it is better to keep the temperature a little low with a small fire than to wear out the burner and heat exchanger with torn fires. Who can advise on this issue and the choice of the boiler?

Firstly, not burners, but automation. Secondly, modulated automation does not provide for the connection of a room thermostat.

Recently, the installation and installation of a Lemax gas boiler with SIT 820 NOVA mv automation and the ability to connect an external room thermostat was carried out. Only the boiler itself and the coolant were replaced, the rest of the CO remained unchanged. The chimney temporarily remained the same from the old boiler, but installed with an adapter 130 to 120mm. When heated and cooled, the device begins to click and creak. The sound is loud and comparable in level to the built-in thermostat when turned on and off. Clicking starts after 15-20 seconds. after turning on the burner. It usually repeats with a frequency of about once every 5-10 seconds, depending on the temperature in the system, and continues until the burner is turned off. Then the reverse process occurs, but with much less intensity. In some periods, there are no clicks at all, or it may accidentally click only 2-3 times, while only the operation of the burner is heard. The source of the noise is very difficult to understand, but I still assume that the noise comes from the heat exchanger.
What tried to do. Increased the circulation rate of the coolant by switching speeds on the pump. Turned off the pump completely. By the way, this situation also often happens on an old boiler if the power supply was turned off for up to 6-8 hours. At the same time, the room, of course, cooled down, the boiler continued to heat up, but it turned on very rarely. Increased and decreased the gas pressure on the burner using the inlet gas valve. Turn off the burner completely and let it cool down. I checked the air in the system. Completely blocked all heating radiators, while naturally the device turned on very rarely. I removed the chimney, and after a minute the draft sensor was triggered, and the gas was completely turned off.

Clicks occur during heating and shutdown, at the points of contact (connection) metal parts boiler, one part heats up more than the other, mutual displacement occurs, the parts are bolted together and there is no smooth movement, hence the clicks. This situation may occur when using extremely concentrated antifreeze (Lemax does not recommend the use of antifreeze containing fluids). As for ethylene glycol-containing antifreeze, any leak from the heating system can be detrimental to health. Such problems are addressed by consumers who did not flush the heating system when replacing the boiler with a new one. Why did I ask for the circuit, there are situations when it is not properly fixed (boilers with a circuit are marked with the letter "B" in the description, i.e. Premium-16 V), with an increase coolant temperature, the circuit (copper coil) starts to make sounds, the manufacturer replaces these devices with new ones.

Installed and connected floor boiler Lemax KSG-20 - square (old model). Automation Eurosit 630. There are 2 problems. When Eurosit 630 extinguishes the main burner (it is hot and even at 40 degrees it overheats), the pilot one burns, but somewhat unusually - a periodic noise phenomenon is observed. Here, as it were, the main tongue of the flame of the pilot burner - by 1-2 millimeters at the base, breaks away from the burner itself for 0.5-1 seconds, then everything falls into place. Is it possible to supply nozzles from smaller boilers of the same series. Will there be anything wrong with the burners or will they try to lower the boiler with a gas valve?

The igniter can go out for various reasons. Better Specialist sorted out on the spot. A problem with traction extension, perhaps if there should be traction breakers. Igniter pressure is adjustable. Your nozzles are at 2.6, replacing with 2.5 will give a reduction to 19 kW. It is also necessary to adjust the main and small flames so that the boiler does not go into the small flame earlier than it should, and the heating is heated up.

The Lemax Leader 16 boiler is in operation. I set the power to 1 or 2 on the regulator, and the boiler works normally for 4-5 hours. But then the house warms up to +25, and the boiler first switches to a small flame, then to a large one, then back to a small one and the main burner is turned off. About the settings of the boiler - I would like not to increase the small flame, but to reduce it - thereby achieving permanent job boiler. That is, they warmed up to the desired temperature, switched to a small flame, but it must be adjusted so that it maintains combustion and smoothly lowers the temperature until the main burner turns on again at full power.
Is it possible to adjust the small and large flame only on a cold boiler with the burner off? According to the small and main flame of the burner. Is it possible to slightly reduce the power by reducing the gas consumption on a large flame with the main burner adjustment screw without changing the jets (how to understand the range by how much you can reduce it). How to set the right gas flow?

Try to see if the thermocouple will move further or try the position of the thermocouple without the nut, how long it will rest. Look, if you can, how it is washed by the flame of the igniter. All thermocouple contacts must be fixed. It is impossible to clamp the thermocouple strongly in the socket, the tin on (+) may begin to come into contact with the mass. It is necessary to regulate the flame on a working boiler, in general, only for specialists. From the position of the full drowning of the adjustment screw to its maximum unscrewing, it is impossible to make more than 4 turns. On the Eurosit 630 there is also a gas regulator at the inlet, but I have never been able to reduce or increase the gas pressure with it. Perhaps he only reduces from very high pressure to less. With everything, of course, the igniter tube and nozzle must be clean.

The Lemax Leader 25 boiler constantly goes out. They cleaned the pipe, the draft is good. After that, problems began, it was constantly rotten, it was very inconvenient to kindle it. They called the gasman several times, he said that it was not a pipe. Think I can replace?

Maybe it's the thermocouple.

We installed a gas boiler Lemax KSG-12.5 Premium. After turning off the main burner, a click occurs after a couple of minutes, what is the reason for that?

There are holes inside the boiler, there are dampers in them. If they are tight, this is where the metal clicks from. Also check the boiler level.

In operation, Lemax Patriot 10, I set it to 70, and it goes out at 60, then it burns - only ignition. Pipes cool, drops below 40 and that's it. You adjust it to 90, it rises again to 60 and turns off, what should I do?

Look at the system - there is no circulation or it is airy, maybe the valve is closed somewhere. Maybe the temperature sensor is not working.

We installed the Lemax Leader-16 (cast iron) boiler, it began to click, you can hear it throughout the heating system. What to do with him?

The problems are not with the boiler, most likely they did not clean the old heating system.

We carried out the installation of a floor gas boiler Lemax KSG-10. After ignition, after a few minutes it automatically turns off. What is the reason and can it be fixed?

The reasons for the described problem may be as follows: when the main burner is turned on, the igniter is knocked down, the gas pressure on the igniter is not set, poor draft or insufficient forced ventilation. First of all, check the traction in the system. In the vast majority of cases, it is problems with the chimney that cause the boiler to turn off. This device has a high efficiency, so the temperature of the exhaust gases is quite low (up to 120 ° C). Because of this, draft may disappear in uninsulated chimneys. In this case, the sensor is triggered, and the gas supply is stopped. This automation ensures the safety of equipment operation. In addition, we recommend checking the gas pressure settings on the igniter and ventilation valves indoors (grilles must be open).

Tell me, which arrow in the thermomanometer shows pressure? I have a boiler series Leader 25 s cast iron heat exchanger. Red bottom arrow or black? If black, then I have it almost at zero. How to raise the pressure? And what if it falls? Is it very bad?

The red arrow on the thermomanometer indicates temperature, the black arrow indicates pressure. Most likely a leak in the system. A drop in pressure will result in no water circulation. In your case, you need to find and fix the leak.

Boiler model Premium KSG-16. Why does it often go out even with a slight wind?

Your problem has nothing to do with the design or characteristics of the device. Attenuation can be due to the following reasons: when the main burner is turned on, the igniter is knocked out, the gas pressure on the igniter is not adjusted, poor draft or insufficient ventilation. In the absence of traction, the sensor is triggered, the gas supply stops and the boiler goes out. In addition, attenuation occurs in light winds. Most likely, the chimney is below 5 meters. Please check that its design meets the requirements stated in the passport. This is important for stable and safe work equipment. We also recommend checking the gas pressure settings on the igniter and the draft in the system. Please note that due to the relatively low flue gas temperature (110–120 °C), draft may disappear in non-insulated chimneys. In 94% of cases, problems with this type of gas equipment are associated with this. Also check if there are any problems with the supply ventilation. open gratings ventilation ducts if they are closed.

Boiler gas Lemax KSG-7.5 with UGG-9 (Danko-26). Worked great for 6 years. The house was stuffy and hot even in frost -35. But this winter, apparently, the resource of some spare part has ended. There was a smell of gas, the burner went out and the wick itself too. When I tried to turn it on, a flame flared up from under the burner with a solid blue fire. Tell me, please, what could be broken?

Most likely, the alkaline spring has failed - the resource has ended. Separately, this part cannot be replaced, because. they are no longer produced. You can purchase and replace the entire gas valve assembly.

Comfort automation has stopped working, the flame does not fall on the wick, what could be? Who knows? Installed about 6 years ago, everything worked. Flat burners 3 pieces. Model KSG 7.5

The whole problem is in the thrust sensor, or rather in the connectors. Take it off or move it and the boiler started working.

The KSG-12.5 boiler is in operation. The intensity of combustion, and therefore the quality of heating, directly depends on temperature. environment. Yes, yes, not on the temperature of the coolant (water), but on the weather outside. That is, if it is warm outside, and at this time it is still cold at home, the boiler stops working. Even when the gas supply is increased, the main burner does not burn, only the wick burns. But when it's cold outside, the battery becomes hotter than ever, even with reduced gas consumption. Can anyone explain what is the cause and how to fix it?

Most likely, there are gas pressure surges in the line, and because of this, the boiler is unstable. In order to confirm this assumption, it is necessary to make pressure measurements under various conditions. In such a situation, a gas pump and a stabilizer can become a solution to the problem. However, we cannot say that the reasons for interruptions in the operation of the boiler are associated precisely with pressure surges in the system.

Boiler Lemax Premium 20 kW, installed yesterday, tried to start today. The nozzles turn on, after a minute or two the nozzles and the wick turn off. Someone please tell me what is the reason.

The problem you described with starting the boiler may be due to the following reasons: when the main burner is turned on, the igniter fails, the gas pressure on the igniter is not set, insufficient ventilation or poor draft. When the draft is weak, the sensor is triggered, and the gas does not flow to the main burners. Check pilot gas pressure settings and system draft. Please note that due to the relatively low flue gas temperature (110–120 °C), boilers with high efficiency in chimneys without insulation, draft may disappear.

It became cold at home, I wanted to turn on the boiler, but it does not burn. You hold the wick for a certain time (according to the instructions) - it goes out. Gas is not supplied to the main burners. What to do?

Such a malfunction may be due to the following reasons: the gas pressure on the igniter is not set, the igniter is knocked off when the main burner is turned on, insufficient ventilation or poor draft. In the latter case, the draft sensor is triggered and the gas does not flow to the main burners. Check pilot gas pressure settings and system draft.

The Lemax KSG-10 gas boiler was installed in the system. This fall, I ran into such a problem: they updated the system, turned on the boiler, the temperature on the sensor was rising, and the pipes were cold. Boiling water at the top of the boiler. The pipes adjacent to the boiler are equally hot, and both the return and the supply are already icy at a distance of 2 m. I understand that air has accumulated in the boiler. But how to remove it from there? I did not find any valve on the boiler. I've changed the system twice already.

In this case, the problem is not with the boiler, but with the heating system. Please specify what exactly you changed in it. Without an on-site inspection, it is difficult to give specific recommendations. In any case, we recommend calling a specialist to inspect gas equipment.

They installed a Lemax Premium 16 boiler. Switching from the wick to the main burner scares me. It turns out two cottons. Is that how it's supposed to be?

Most likely, it is necessary to adjust the automatic gas pressure.

The device shows an error e72, what should I do?

The boiler gives this error in several cases.
1) When installing the boiler, they forgot to put the diaphragm rings in the chimney, the rings are selected depending on the length of the coaxial chimney.
2) When the boiler was put into operation incorrectly, "hot start", during the first start-up, the pump shaft was not turned, the boiler turned on and burned the pitot tube, error E 72.
3) When the pressure switch fails.

We carried out the installation of the Lemax Leader 16 floor boiler. I started it, everything is fine, but I can’t figure out how to set it up. When the boiler is heated, let's say up to 60 degrees, it turns off and cools down to 40 degrees. Then again it raises to 60. Now the question is how to remove this gap so that it constantly holds 60?

As an option, install a more sensitive thermostat, you can use a room thermostat with a slight temperature overrun, your boiler is equipped with a gas valve 820 Nova, this valve has the ability to connect peripheral devices such as room thermostat or turbocharger. The thermostat can be installed instead of the existing one or in one circuit with the thermostat installed on the boiler.

Installed Lemax premium KSG-7.5 kW. There was a problem. The wick is lit. There is no further movement. The burner does not ignite. The switch is set correctly. Waited for about an hour. The wick burns, but the burner does not ignite. What could be the reason?

After the wick remains lit, the regulator must be turned to the value you need counterclockwise, each tick corresponds to an average of 15 C.

A Lemax premium series boiler 20 kW was installed. I have such a question - the gas is turned off very often. When I notice, I move the control knob to the off position. But what happens if this is not done? For example, when turning off and on the gas will occur in my absence. Will there be a gas leak?

Nothing terrible will happen to you, non-volatile Italian automation is installed on the boilers, if there is no gas supply, the automation will turn off completely, regardless of the position of the regulator knob.

Boiler Lemax KSG-10 Premium. Installed in December 2014. Worked fine. This year they launched a few days ago and immediately began to fail - the main burner turns off at a temperature of 60 degrees (and if you turn off the water pump - at a temperature of 70 degrees). What's wrong?

The reason may be a faulty temperature sensor (with round pen control for setting the desired temperature of the boiler). You can check by closing the contacts going to it with each other.

The KSG-16 boiler worked more or less normally for 10 years. This year the start of the season worked well. When it got cold, I had to add the temperature on the boiler, and this is where the problem arose. Up to four it works without failures, but further on, i.e. on the five and six it picks up the temperature and turns off. What could be?

The problem is in the cold plug of the chimney, insulate upper part chimney and you will be warm.

We installed and connected the Buderus Logano G234-WS-44 kW boiler, Logomatic 4211 automation. Heating on cylinders without hot water, jets for reduced gas were also replaced. We survived the winter, the cylinders were replaced, all without problems. Then in the spring, when the temperature outside was +16 + 18, the boiler began to turn off for a long time and, when turned on, it began to give a burner error on the screen and a red button light on the front wall lit up. Installed and connected wall-mounted boiler Electrolux Basic Xi. A problem began that the boiler stopped seeing the flame and turned off the gas supply after 7-8 seconds. And after 3 attempts gave an error E1. How can I fix it?

From this article you will learn what problems can arise in the automation of gas boilers, why it is not possible to ignite the igniter, because of which the boiler can turn off for no reason, and most importantly, we will figure out what actions need to be taken to diagnose and eliminate this malfunction.

The owners of non-volatile gas boilers are probably familiar with the situation when, for some reason, it is not possible to ignite the boiler, or a lot of time is spent on ignition. In this case, the problem lies in the automation of the boiler.

To date, in domestic and imported gas equipment, the EUROSIT 630 gas valve is most often used. emergency carries out full coverage gas supply to the burners. Further start-up of boilers with such automation is possible only manually. However, it is not always the reason emergency shutdown the boiler is a real accident.

Let's try to understand this using the example of the Zhytomyr-3 boiler. Of the automation, it provides protection against the loss of the flame on the igniter and violation of traction.

Note: All gas hazardous work must be carried out exclusively by representatives of specialized organizations that have the appropriate permits. Therefore, this article is provided for informational purposes only. Also, this article will help to control the work of the master and, possibly, save you from the need to purchase unnecessary spare parts.

Let's decide what we will call the ignition of the igniter. The EUROSIT 630 valve control knob allows you to switch the boiler to three main modes:

  • disabled;
  • ignition;
  • temperature adjustment (1-7).

To ignite the pilot burner (igniter), it is necessary to turn the control knob to the “ignition” (spark) position, press it and use the piezo ignition button to ignite the pilot burner. Next, the handle is held for a few seconds (no more than 30) and released. The igniter should continue to burn. This is what we will call the ignition of the igniter. If the igniter goes out, you need to repeat the procedure a few more times. If this does not help, you need to look for a malfunction.

At the moment of ignition of the igniter, the flame heats the thermocouple, which in turn generates EMF (approximately 25 mV for serviceable SIT thermocouples), which enters through the circuit of the automation sensor (sensors) to the solenoid valve.

By pressing the handle of the gas valve, we manually open the solenoid valve, supplying gas to the igniter, which, in case correct operation equipment, is held by the EMF generated by the thermocouple and remains in the open position after the handle is released. The thermocouple itself performs the function of protection against loss of flame on the igniter. The sensors in the circuit are normally closed and, when triggered, open their contacts, ensuring a complete shutdown of the boiler.

Preparation for work

To carry out work to identify and eliminate problems with the ignition of the igniter, we need the following tool:

  • open-end wrenches No. 9, 10, 12;
  • pliers;
  • multimeter;
  • flat head screwdriver;
  • alcohol.

Getting Started

To determine the cause of the malfunction, check the thermocouple circuit - the solenoid valve. First, check the thrust sensor. In this boiler, it is located on the flue. To do this, remove the two terminals from the sensor.

We close the two terminals together, they should connect tightly (for this you can press them a little with pliers).

We are trying to ignite the igniter. If this was done, the cause of the malfunction is in the thrust sensor. However, do not rush to change it. Let's check it out first.

Note: in this work, we dismantle the sensor in order to show the features of its installation on the boiler and the marking. You don't need to do this to check.

We unscrew the two screws securing the draft sensor to the boiler flue.

Please note that the sensor is not attached close to the flue body, but is mounted on paronite gaskets. This is necessary in order to reduce the heating of the sensor through its contact with the body, and also to provide a gap between the hole in the gas duct and the sensor plane.

We examine the sensor. Its contacts must be firmly attached to the case. They should not be oxidized. The sensor rating (temperature at which the sensor contact opens) in this case is 75 °С (designation on the housing L75C).

We check the thrust sensor with a tester, measuring its resistance. It should be minimal (equal to the resistance of the probes) - 1-2 ohms. If the sensor does not ring, it is definitely necessary to replace it with a similar one (with the corresponding response temperature).

If the sensor managed to ring, we wipe the sensor contacts and the circuit terminals with alcohol, press them with pliers and dry them. We mount the sensor in place and connect it. We are trying to ignite.

If the ignition was successful, the cause of the malfunction was found and eliminated.

Be sure to check the draft after ignition of the main burner. To do this, you can bring your hand to the place where the thrust sensor is installed. No heat should escape from this hole. If this happens, it is necessary to eliminate the cause of insufficient traction. In this case, the sensor works correctly.

Attention! It is strictly forbidden to operate the boiler with a faulty chimney!

We remove the terminals from the contacts of the traction breaker and measure the resistance of the circuit. It should be no more than 3 ohms.

If this condition is met, we perform the following actions. With the key No. 9, we unscrew the nut that fastens the thermocouple to the draft breaker. With the key number 12, we unscrew the traction chopper half a turn, which consists of two parts: a brass sleeve and a plastic insert.

We take out the plastic insert with contacts and unscrew the part completely.

Checking the thermocouple. We connect it directly to the solenoid valve (the place where the traction chopper was installed). We fix it with key number 9.

We make the ignition of the igniter. If it was not possible to produce it, the cause of the malfunction is most likely in the thermocouple. The solenoid valve fails extremely rarely.

Let's look at the thermocouple. In some cases, the thermocouple is repairable. It happens that the contact of the thermocouple disappears. This is not a reason to replace, it is enough to solder it.

It is important to dielectric gasket was whole.

Ensure that the thermocouple is correctly positioned in the igniter flame. The tip of the thermocouple must be immersed in the flame.

To adjust the position of the thermocouple relative to the igniter flame, it is necessary to loosen the nut securing the thermocouple to the pilot burner with a key No. 10. When moving the thermocouple, it is necessary to set it in the correct position and fix it with a key No. 10.

To make a final verdict on replacement, the EMF generated by the thermocouple can be measured. To do this, it is necessary to ignite the igniter, and, while holding the valve knob pressed, measure the EMF between the thermocouple contact and its body. Optimal value must be at least 18 mV. If the thermocouple is in good condition, we will clean the parts of the traction breaker with alcohol, and also wipe the thermocouple contact. Especially if it had to be soldered.

We assemble the traction chopper in the reverse order, connect a thermocouple to it. Strongly crimp parts should not be. Efforts should be enough to ensure reliable contact. We crimp the terminals with pliers and, after wiping them with alcohol, we try to ignite.

Performing all of the above operations will surely help you troubleshoot your boiler.

Another cause of problems with ignition may be insufficient gas pressure on the igniter. This is due to a clogged injector. To clean it, it is necessary to release the fastening nut with a key number 10 copper tube igniter and remove the jet.

Advice: you can lightly tap the igniter to make it easier to remove the jet.

We clean the hole of the residential jet copper wire. Violation of the hole size is not allowed!

At the moments of the most intensive gas consumption, the pressure in the central main pipe may fall. Accordingly, the gas pressure on the igniter can also decrease. To do this, it may be necessary to adjust the gas pressure on the igniter. Loosen the fixing screw decorative overlay and we take it off.

Adjustment is carried out by turning the screw on the valve. Turning it counterclockwise increases the gas pressure on the igniter.

These tips will help you deal with the ignition problems of your boiler. In practice, the most common problems are with contacts, and not with sensors. Therefore, if each time you ignite the igniter, you have to hold the valve handle longer and longer, we advise you to simply clean the contacts and tighten the automation terminals. In order to avoid real problems with the operation of automation, we recommend that you clean the boiler in time.

User questions about the repair of Lemax boilers

Question:

Boiler Lemax floor, with two buttons red and white. It stopped starting automatically, the wick is on, and it starts when you turn the gas regulator to zero, and then you raise the temperature and the boiler lights up, please tell me good people what could be the problem, otherwise we freeze at night.

Wedge rod in the middle part of the automation.

Question:

My Lemax ksg-20d boiler with a GTU 24d burner goes out with the wind on the igniter. came from gas service and all the time changed the thermocouple and so 3 times. tell me how to fix this problem?

It is necessary to increase the gas supply to the pilot burner, most likely when the main burner is turned on, the flame on the pilot burner decreases, which leads to the operation of the automatic protection. But one of the main reasons for this phenomenon is a decrease in gas pressure in the gas distribution system, or, as mentioned above, overturning the draft in the chimney due to its incorrect installation.

Question:

Please tell me how many liters of water should be in the heating system for lemax xg 20 mn, I have about 180m2 in the house and about 300 liters of water in the system. is it ok?

For 1 kW - 12-14 liters of water.

Question:

I purchased a Lemax gas boiler designed for 300 sq.m., installed it and is constantly on, when it reaches the set temperature, it does not turn off, i.e. eats gas all the time. Prompt, please, than such reason can be caused.

This phenomenon is observed if:

The area of the heated area (300 m2) is equal to the power of the boiler (30 kW). Typically, the boiler is selected by 20 percent more in terms of power than the heating area.

If, with the above area-power equalities, the coolant (water) is distilled by a pump, and not by gravity. The boiler simply does not have time to warm up this difference of 1-2 degrees (in the boiler itself, and not in the system, where the difference between the supply and return can reach up to 10 degrees) for the necessary operation of the automation, the volume of water that drives the pump.

In this case, the pump should only be used for a short time(3-5 min.) to equalize the temperature at all heating points, and turn off for the rest of the time. There are still nuances, but this is a more serious approach to this topic, where many factors and details are important and matter.

Question:

The boiler is 2 years old for 350 sq.m. in own two-story house. they specially bought a cast-iron non-volatile one, hoping to enjoy the winter and now in the off-season the heat in the house. As spring or autumn comes, it goes out 20 times a day, but now I’ve sat next to it for 2 hours, I can’t light it, I’m tired of holding the igniter button, gas doesn’t enter the burners at all. Bought on my head, I should have really read the reviews first.

The whole problem is in the draft sensor, or rather in the connectors, you remove it or move it and the boiler starts working.

Question:

8 years ago I installed a Lemax Ksg-7.5 boiler. The first 3 years worked flawlessly, then problems with ignition began, because. the boiler goes out all the time. The sensor of thrust, overheating was disabled. Now also email. solenoid valve is broken. And in general I don’t understand, was it really impossible to make the ignition button more convenient, when you kindle it for 2 hours - you don’t feel your fingers.

Just like that, the boiler does not turn off, you need to look for the reason, if you are sure that the magnetic valve is broken, then replace it, and the draft sensor was turned off in vain.

Question:

Boiler Lemax KSG-12.5D (burner GGU-15D). went out abruptly, could not be rekindled. What to do, what is the reason?

Most likely, the jet of the pilot (igniter) burner is clogged. It is necessary to unscrew the thermocouple nut (located to the right of the igniter), take it aside, unscrew the nut of the igniter tube, take the tube aside, get the jet, blow it through.

Question:

Lemax KGS-16D, the amount of coolant is up to 240 liters, when I bought it I thought it would work fine. If I had known that this would happen, I would not have touched the KChM. Why then, if it is difficult for Lemax to push CO, he does not throw water through an air tube into expansion tank, works without any noises and knocks, heats itself up to 90g and is cut down, cools down a little and works again. And the output is 60 gr.

Turn off the thermostat, then the water fountain. About 240 liters. It will work fine. but with a pump, it will be noticeably more economical than KChM.

Question:

Lemax gas boiler, ignition system Sit 710, when the ignition button is released, the wick goes out, what should I do? Shorted the sensor with two wires outside. Earned. Is it possible to leave it like that?

Nine out of ten boilers operate with shorted thermocouples. Theoretically, yes, this should not be done, it is dangerous. Because in the event of a gas supply interruption, the thermocouple must disconnect and shut off the gas supply, thereby preventing a leak. In practice: the thermocouple burns out on the wick very quickly (because they have a very poor-quality solder), they don’t even have enough for a season, it’s sometimes quite difficult to buy a new one, and it’s expensive.

Question:

Tell me from what the boiler itself can turn off. This happens especially often in bad and windy weather. How can this be fixed?

After igniting the igniter, the emk should work in 15-20 seconds. After the igniter goes out, the emc is turned off (a click is heard) - at least 10-12 seconds.

Question:

Tell me why, when the burner is turned off and only the igniter is lit, the fire is knocked out forward - so that there is a danger to the gas burner, because the fire burns right under it?

Because there is no traction. It is possible that the channels in the heat exchanger are clogged with soot.

Question:

Tell me, please, here we have a Lemax boiler, since 2009, we bought a new one. All this time a huge problem to ignite it. When ignited, when you release the button, the wick immediately goes out. Tried holding the button for a long time. Nothing helps. Sometimes it takes several hours to kindle the wick to light. the masters from the gas service said that these were some kind of contacts. Nothing was explained and nothing was fixed. What to do?

It is necessary to turn off the draft sensor, which is located behind the boiler, and problems should not arise. Check if the protection works in the event of a gas shutdown, the protection should work and the boiler will turn off. Whether the sensor is located at the top rear or on the gas burner itself.

Question:

The Lemax boiler does not turn on, what should I do?

It is possible that the thermocouple contacts have soured or the thermocouple has burned out. Clean the contacts or replace the thermocouple.

Question:

There is a gas boiler Lemax KSG-10 automatic MiniSit. There has always been a problem with ignition, there you need to press a large button, light the wick and slowly release the button, and at this time the igniter goes out, very strong nerves are required to release this button slowly, twitch a little and the valve cuts off the gas, the igniter goes out.

During ignition, I close the contacts directly on the automation, these contacts go to the draft sensor, when the boiler flared up and gained temperature after 20 minutes, I removed the jumper and the automation worked in normal mode, but something broke and now the boiler goes out when I remove the jumper, I tried to replace this draft sensor, it turned out to be a regular thermostat, I had it at 110 degrees, I didn’t find one, I found it at 120, and then at 95, there was no effect from the replacement .

It is scary to operate with a closed jumper, because, as if it died out from the wind or something else from which the valve does not work, I checked it. Something tells me that automation has come up, and not this sensor. What do you think?

To determine the malfunction, you need to do several checks:

Check how the igniter heats the thermocouple. The flame should wash the working end well.

Are the air injection holes in the pilot burner clean?

Is the contact of the terminals with wires reliable? The best is soldering.

Check that the adapter near the gas valve is well tightened, where the wires and the thermocouple come from.

The 710 minisit valve generally operates without failure. Also, during operation, clogging of the holes that need to be cleaned is possible.

The Lemax K-Plus boiler, when the boiler is started, an E5 emergency occurs periodically, but the boiler does not go into an accident, but continues to work, but after several restarts, an E9 error occurs, constantly repeating E5. The board was changed, the pneumatic relay too. What could be? In the stabilizer, the phase is through, the stabilizer is autotransformer.

Measure the voltage at the pressure switch contacts themselves and on the board, the problem may be in bad contacts. And there should be a zero through passage, and in phase - regulation.

I have a new Lemax-10 boiler. There is only one problem - it periodically goes out and goes out. They came from the gas service - they sang something about a bad chimney, like you need to solve the problem there first, and left. Maybe, of course, there is a problem in the chimney, but the old AOGV boiler worked for 23 years with this chimney. Friends, what is the reason for this behavior of the boiler, what should I do?

First, check your traction. It is possible that during combustion, the flame simply does not hit the thermal relay, the automation thinks that the flame has gone out and turns off the gas. This error often occurs due to mechanical damage or clogging of the nozzle.

Boiler "Lemax" Taganrog. Automation "Danko". I can't fire up the boiler. The wick goes out after the button is released, no matter how long it is kept pressed. The thermocouple is washed by the flame, there is thrust, the gas pressure is sufficient. Contacts, as recommended, cleaned. Help with advice, please. When I release the start button, I hear a faint metallic click as the flame goes out.

A question for the experts on Eurosit630 - in normal settings, should the automation increase power when turning to large divisions linearly or not? I have - almost from 3 and above the division goes to the maximum. there are no linear increases in power, and even the automation itself is not observed.

Perhaps the reason is in the thrust sensor - it is poorly fixed. You can solder wires to the sensor instead of removable contacts and fix them.

Hot water heating boiler LEMAKS KSG-7.5 with "Comfort" automation. The water temperature indicator works, the thermostat knob works, the batteries heat up evenly. But AUTOMATIC did not work on the thermostat, it stopped periodically turning off. I can't understand the reason.

It can be assumed that when the boiler is operating, when the water temperature reaches the set value, the main burner does not switch to the "low gas" operating mode. The solution to the problem is the replacement of the "bellows-thermoballoon" thermal system.

For five years, the lemax ksg12 boiler has stood, an area of 30 sq. M, the flow rate is small, but the water temperature is not more than 60, it burns without ceasing two medium-sized batteries of 14 sections, how to make it warmer, how to raise the temperature in the boiler?

In severe frosts, the pressure in the gas pipeline drops, respectively, less gas than required is supplied to the boiler, and the temperature of the coolant is less than the set one. Installing a circulation pump can also help.

The presence of a gas boiler is not surprising now. These heating appliances became quite popular and appeared in many homes. It is thanks to them that in winter the home is warm and cozy. But what to do if the boiler does not ignite, does not turn on, drips, howls, smokes, or immediately goes out when turned on? You can call a specialist, or you can try to figure out the cause of the malfunction yourself and, if possible, eliminate it.

The main reasons: why the gas boiler goes out

It is very disappointing when, in the midst of cold weather, the gas boiler, which is responsible for heating the home, does not start, works intermittently, fades out or turns off on its own. What is the reason for such phenomena? Why does the device turn off?

First you need to figure out what kind of boiler you have: volatile or mechanical, without reference to the light.

If the boiler depends on electricity, then it can turn off when:

  • Lack of electrical energy;
  • Electricity surges;
  • Failures in the remote control;
  • Incorrect device settings.

If there are frequent power outages in the region of residence, you can play it safe and buy a voltage stabilizer. Moreover, if this happens often, then the boiler can not only go out, but even fail.

Reasons for the attenuation of a mechanical boiler:

  1. The igniter is set incorrectly - this can be seen by the "separation" of the flame. You can fix the problem by adjusting the boiler pressure.
  2. The circulation pump has broken - if this happens, the wick will go out, and the boiler will continue to make noise. You can solve the problem by replacing or repairing the part.
  3. There was a problem with the thrust sensor - as an option, the oxidation of its contacts. If this happens, they need to be cleaned. It is not difficult to check the sensor - for this you need to close the contacts to which the wires from the gas valve are connected and try to ignite the burner.
  4. Deterioration of the draft sensor wires - in this case, they must be replaced.
  5. The burner or filter is clogged - if this happens, it is necessary to clean the nozzles and the filter with wire right size or with a brush.
  6. The thermocouple is burned out or smoked - in this case, there will be no signal from it, and the valve will not let the gas through. The thermocouple can be cleaned or replaced. It does not make sense to repair it - this part can only be replaced.

These are the main reasons why a boiler of any brand, whether it be Conord, Ross, Proskurov - Thermo, Keber, Lemax, Thermotechnician, Mayak or Alexia, can go out.

The boiler blows out in strong winds: what to do in this case

Mechanical heating boilers can go out due to the fact that they blow out strong wind. Any atmospheric phenomena - rain, high humidity, low atmospheric pressure, wind can affect thrust, causing its excess or lack, and also cause reverse thrust. Outcome: the boiler went out. What to do in this case?

The solution to the problem lies in the following:

  • You can install a special fungus-umbrella on the edge of the pipe, which will cover the chimney from unwanted effects;
  • And you can increase the pipe itself, if its length is not enough.

By the way, this is not the only problem that can arise with the chimney. In addition to blowing smoke, frost may form on the pipe. The reason for this phenomenon is condensation.

The fact is that moisture tends to accumulate and freeze over time, and then become so thick that it simply blocks the access of oxygen and the flame dies out, and the boiler turns off.

To get rid of the overgrown ice - you need to knock it down. And so that this does not happen again - it is desirable to insulate the pipe.

However, it happens that it is very difficult to knock down ice growths and then you have to defrost them. You can purchase a disposable burner with a small canister. To melt the ice, you need to light the burner and stick it into the cleaning hatch. When the pipe warms up, the boiler can be put into operation.

Why does a gas boiler often go out

If your parapet, floor or wall convector goes out quite often, you need to find out why this is happening and what needs to be done to fix the problem. One of the main reasons for this phenomenon may be the lack of oxygen. This is especially true for models of boilers that do not have an exhaust hood that enhances draft.

What else can contribute to the lack of air for the boiler:

  • Clogged chimney - in this case, it must be cleaned;
  • Installation of sealed plastic windows, significantly reducing the inflow fresh air into the room;
  • Replacement interior doors, as a result of which the gaps between the floor and the wings have become much smaller;
  • The acquisition of a powerful hood, which takes part of the air flow to itself.

In addition to lack of air, the reason that the flame does not ignite may be a drop in gas pressure. The problem can be either on a common backbone (in this case, you just need to wait for specialists to fix it) or specifically on your network.

If you smell gas or burning, you should immediately inspect the pipes, as most likely there is a leak somewhere. This usually happens through the docking points of devices and gas pipes that have lost their tightness.

To find out if this is the case, you should treat all suspicious places with a sponge with soap foam. Where there is a leak, bubbles will appear. It is better to entrust the work of eliminating such a problem to professionals.

A few more reasons why the boiler may turn off:

  1. Sensor malfunction - as a rule, these devices monitor the concentration of gases in the boiler and the temperature of the device. If a failure occurs, then naturally, the operation of the unit will be disrupted and it will have to be turned off for repair.
  2. Poor ventilation of the room - the boiler does not have enough fresh air. The easiest way to solve this problem is to open the door to the room or window. If a flame appears, then you need to think about an additional ventilation device so that the boiler does not go out all the time.
  3. Breakage of the meter, which does not let gas into the right amount. This is usually expressed in the fact that the boiler is very loud, bangs and thumps. The numbers on the display do not change smoothly, but jerkily. Here you need to call only specialists. It is forbidden to do anything with the counter on your own.

The reason for the attenuation of the boiler may be related to the pipe. If it is burned out, then you will have to change it. There is no other option.

The gas boiler does not ignite: problems with traction

In the case when the gas boiler does not work, you should first deal with the draft, due to which it may not be possible to start the column. Checking it is quite simple: just bring a lit match or candle to the window and see how the flame will behave. If it began to lean towards the opening, then the draft is in order, and if the fire burns evenly and does not stretch anywhere, there is no draft.

What to do if there is no traction:

  • Open the window to the boiler room so that there is an influx of fresh air;
  • Disconnect the part of the chimney connected to the outlet pipe and check for draft in the chimney itself;
  • If there is a draft, then you need to clean the gas boiler directly, and if it is not there, then you will have to clean the channel.

If the outlet is not visible in the chimney, you will have to clean it too. However, the problem may be in a twisted bird's nest at the top of the pipe or ice that has appeared that needs to be removed.

The gas boiler goes out: what to do and how to fix it

If you have a turbine boiler and the flame does not ignite in it, you should listen to how it works. If the sounds are heard stronger than usual, or vice versa, silence is the problem, most likely in the built-in fan, which will have to be repaired or bought a new one.

Usually there are 3 options when the boiler is not working:

  • The device is turned off completely;
  • The appliance is turned on, the display is on and the indicator is on, but the flame does not ignite;
  • The flame ignites, but quickly goes out.

First you need to check whether power is supplied to the convector. The reason for its absence may lie not only in a power outage, but also in the operation of the machine on the switchboard.

By the way, many imported units (for example, Welfare) are quite sensitive to finding the phase and sometimes you have to switch the plug in the outlet to change the contacts and turn on the device.

If everything is in order with the voltage, you can proceed with the repair. To do this, unscrew the front panel of the boiler with a screwdriver and remove it or fold it back. Then find the fuse box and check each one. If there is a blown one, it must be replaced with the same value. If after these steps the unit works - excellent, but not - you will have to call a specialist.

If at visual inspection inside the unit, streaks, broken wires or burnt parts on the board will be detected - you should call the wizard.

When displaying any error on the convector display, you can read what it means in the technical data sheet of the device.

Some problems that cause the device to turn off can be fixed on your own:

  • A clogged sump can be cleaned by first shutting off the taps of the device;
  • Correct circulation pump by unscrewing the screw in the center of the pump and releasing air;
  • Add air if the pressure in the tank is too low;
  • Repair any leaks and add water to the system.

This is how you can try with your own hands to resume the operation of a gas heating boiler of various brands, for example, AOGV, Dani, Weber, Aton, AGV.
