M11 traffic block. Highway M11 - "Full tank of gasoline, transponder and a cup of coffee

New modern expressway M-11 Moscow - St. Petersburg originates from the Moscow Ring Road and joins the Ring Road of the Northern Capital. The length of this motorway from "ring" to "ring" will be 669 km.

The creation of the M-11 highway was due to the heavy workload and wear of the previous highway, as well as the need to save a number of settlements from transit transport. In addition, an important factor for its construction is the preparation of Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The new route will connect the cities hosting the main matches of the competition.

The M-11 road will cover the territories of the Central and Northwestern Federal Districts. The route will be laid within the boundaries of the Moscow, Tver, Novgorod and Leningrad regions. At the same time, it will be located bypassing all settlements. The new Moscow-St. Petersburg highway runs parallel to the currently functioning M-10 Rossiya highway in some sections. The intersection of M-11 with its predecessor is carried out at km 58, km 149, km 208, km 258, km 334, km 543 through multi-level interchanges.

The laying of the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway is carried out in several stages. Each of them is an independent investment and construction project. Such a phased implementation of the project is due to the need to adapt to the capacity of the existing federal highway M-10 "Russia". This value does not meet modern requirements for a long time, so the project management decided to separate the construction stages and put the most significant sections into operation early.

The full commissioning of the M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg road will take place in 2018. However, we note that the project provides for the development of the road, for example, an increase in the number of lanes.

The main stages (sections) of the construction of the M-11 highway

The route is divided into conditional sections. Their borders are sections of the road, calculated in km. These areas include:

15 - 58 kilometers.

They take place in the Solnechnogorsk and Khimki districts of the Moscow region. At the same time, the route bypasses Khimki, which will significantly relieve city traffic and reduce the time spent on the road by motorists. This section was launched for traffic on December 23, 2014. Khimki has already been significantly unloaded, transport to Sheremetyevo Airport is moving faster.

The site works in a paid mode.

58 - 149 kilometers.

They take place in the Klin and Solnechnogorsk districts of the Moscow region. Cars move from the capital bypassing the cities of Solnechnogorsk and Klin. Further, the path runs through the territory of the Konakovo and Kalinin districts of the Tver region. The work will be completed no earlier than 2018.

Upon completion of construction, vehicles will be able to get to Tver and the northwestern part of the Moscow Region faster, since, unlike the old route, the new road will bypass villages and other small settlements. Note that at first the road will have 4 lanes, then their number will increase to 8.

208 - 258 kilometers.

The section is located in the Torzhoksky district of the Tver region and bypasses Torzhok, significantly shortening the existing route Tver - Vyshny Volochyok. This section will be completed in 2018.

M-11. Detour of Vyshny Volochok.

258 - 334 kilometers.

They pass through Torzhoksky, Vyshnevolotsky and Spirovsky districts of the Tver region, bypassing the settlement of Vyshny Volochek. The section has already been built and opened for traffic on November 28, 2014.

This event has become a significant date for many categories of drivers. Vyshny Volochyok was unable to cope with the intense traffic flow, a lot of time was spent driving two tens of kilometers of its streets. The Volochka detour was without a doubt the most significant gift for drivers in recent years.

Now this section has 4 lanes, the project provides for 6.

334 - 543 kilometers.

This section of the route runs in the Vyshnevolotsky and Bologovsky districts of the Tver region, Okulovsky, Malovishersky and Novgorod regions of the Novgorod region. Its construction began in 2014 and is still ongoing. The planned date of commissioning is 2018.

This section of the road can be called the most difficult. The areas of the Tver and Novgorod regions through which the M-11 road passes are famous for their impenetrable swamps. Road builders have to completely replace the soil under the road, build many kilometers of embankments. In particularly difficult wetlands, it is necessary to arrange pile fields. It is on this section that one of the largest bridges of the road is located - the bridge over the Volkhov River.

Another feature of this section is that it passes through the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War. Nearly 300 explosive objects have already been found and defused, and the remains of 10 Red Army soldiers have been recovered. Archaeological work has also been carried out in this area.

Construction of a bridge across the Volkhov.

Finds of road builders in the Novgorod region.

543 - 684 kilometers.

The road is being built on the territory of the Novgorod and Chudovsky districts of the Novgorod region, covering part of the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region. The section goes around the city of Chudovo and the city of Tosno and ends in St. Petersburg. The route ends on the Ring Road, near Pulkovo Airport. Construction will be completed in 2018. The advantages of this construction include such an aspect as a significant unloading of suburban highways of the Northern capital.

Cars on the new, sixth section of the road. Its length exceeds 200 kilometers. It passes through the regions of Tver and Novgorod regions, known for their impenetrable swamps. And so far, they have not dared to lay high-speed routes, where the estimated speed can reach 150 kilometers per hour. The road goes around the Valdai National Park and allows you to bypass Bologoe and Okulovka.

In order to make a high-speed highway capable of withstanding a heavy load at any time of the year, the road builders had to completely replace the soil under the highway, build many kilometers of embankments, and make entire pile fields in especially difficult wetlands.

The length of M-11, which will be fully paid, is 669 kilometers

107 bridge structures were erected on the section, of which 42 bridges with a total length of more than four kilometers (one of the largest bridges of the road is located on this section - across the Volkhov River), as well as 63 overpasses with a total length of seven kilometers. This makes it possible to drive the entire section without traffic lights and stops.

It is already equipped with rest areas with toilets, drivers can stop and go to a cafe, refuel a car, including at an automated gas station. There are seven such self-service gas stations on the highway. There are no operators there, and you can pay for refueling with a bank card, said Sergey Kelbakh, head of the Avtodor state company.

If the car did not make it to the gas station, you can call the emergency commissioners who will fill the car for free and help in another unforeseen situation.

The permitted speed on the section opened yesterday - from the 334th to the 543rd kilometer - is 130 km / h. The fare is 240 rubles if you have a T-pass transponder and 300 rubles if you pay in cash.

With the opening of this difficult section of the route, motorists will be able (taking into account the existing sections on the M-11) to drive with a breeze from Tver to Veliky Novgorod, bypassing Torzhok and Vyshny Volochok. This is practically half of the entire M-11 highway, which will be fully operational at the end of 2018.

The fare for a passenger car along the segment from the 208th to the 543rd kilometer costs 660 rubles, excluding discounts that can be obtained by purchasing a transponder. With discounts on the T-pass system, the fare will cost 396 rubles.

The total length of the M-11, which will be fully paid, is 669 kilometers. On the approach, the opening of traffic on the section from the 58th to the 97th kilometer, passing by Solnechnogorsk and Klin in the Moscow region. It is scheduled to open at the end of June. The 7th and 8th sections are also under construction, from St. Petersburg, bypassing Tosno and Chudovo, from the 543rd to the 684th kilometer.

By the end of 2018, full-fledged travel on the autobahn with a length of 609 kilometers will be provided. In recent history, this is the first road of this length to be opened in Russia, Kelbakh noted. Travel along the entire route, not counting the segment bypassing Tver, will cost 2200 rubles without discounts and 1200 with discounts.

As for the Tver bypass, in addition to the southern bypass, which is part of the M-10 Rossiya highway, 23 kilometers long (section from 156 to 178 kilometers), there are plans to build a bypass of Tver and on M-11. Now in the Tver region, M-10 and M-11 are connected by interchanges, this will provide a through passage along the M-11 to St. Petersburg.

The Tver bypass on the M-11 highway is currently being designed and will be built as part of the 2018-2024 road program. The cost of construction of the section is now being calculated, but it will not be cheap, since it has two complex bridges across the Volga. And those two facilities are capital-intensive, Kehlbach said.

On the evening of June 6, traffic was solemnly opened on a new section of the M11 Moscow-St. Petersburg toll highway under construction, Avtodor reports. This section of the highway runs from km 334 to 543 from the village of Mednoye in the Tver Region to the village of Myasnoy Bor in the Novgorod Region, bypassing the Valdai National Park and allowing you to bypass Bologoye and Okulovka.

This is the fourth section of the M11 to be put into service. It became a continuation of existing sections in the Tver region, bypassing Torzhok and Vyshny Volochok, which made it possible to pass through the motorway from Tver to Veliky Novgorod (from 208 to 543 km), and this is half of the entire M11 highway, Avtodor notes. ".

Toll highway Moscow-St. Petersburg

The entrance from the free federal highway M10 to the new section M11 is through traffic interchanges at km 330 and 545. The fare for the opened section is from 240 rubles with a T-pass transponder, and a through passage from km 208 to 543 will cost from 356 rubles, the report says.

The opening of the new section will allow drivers to save almost a third of the travel time from Moscow to the Northern Capital.

Fares for travel on the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway

Earlier, Avtodor reported that the fare for cars on the new section would be 300 rubles when paying in cash or bank cards and 240 rubles for owners of T-pass transponders. At the same time, Avtodor noted that a through passage along the section 208 km - 543 km when paying in cash or by bank card in the daytime for a passenger car will cost 660 rubles, and if there is a T-pass transponder, the fare depends on the size discounts will start from 356 rubles.

A day earlier, traffic was fully launched on the Tver ring road

On June 5, traffic was fully launched on the Tverskaya ring road - a section of the federal highway M10 Rossiya from km 156 to 178. Previously, this section had only three lanes with level crossings and traffic lights, which led to serious congestion. Now the number of lanes has increased to four (up to the Volokolamsk interchange) and up to six (up to the northern entrance to Tver).

In addition, two interchanges were built at the 164th and 173rd kilometers (with Turginovsky and Staritsky highways), bridges over the Tmaka and Mezhurka rivers, as well as an overpass across the Oktyabrskaya railway were reconstructed.

On the eve of the opening of the Tverskaya ring road, working traffic was launched along the left bridge across the Volga (Migalovsky) River at the 176th km of the M10 highway and along the six-lane overpass over the city avenue 50 years of October. Both objects are part of the bypass of the regional capital. Now the traffic flow is distributed over two bridges, with a total of eight lanes. Before the reconstruction, about 40,000 cars per day could pass through this section, and now about 100,000, according to the publication.

According to the idea, after the construction of the M11, the M10 Rossiya highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg will serve as a free backup for the new toll road.

Highway M11

The M11 highway was originally planned to be fully built for the World Cup in Russia, which starts on June 14, 2018, but did not have time. It is now scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.

As planned, after the completion of its construction and commissioning, it will be possible to travel along the M11 from Moscow to St. Petersburg or in the opposite direction in a maximum of 5.5 hours at a maximum speed limit of 130 km/h.

The head of Avtodor, Sergei Kelbakh, said in the spring that the total fare along the entire M11 highway would be no more than two thousand rubles for cars.

This route will mainly run parallel to the existing M10 Rossiya federal highway, crossing it at km 58, 149, 208, 258, 334 and 543, for which traffic interchanges are to be built. This will allow switching the movement of traffic flows from M10 to M11 and vice versa.

The length of the new paid section on the M-11 highway is 209 km, and the free section on the M-10 highway is 23 km.

From today, from June 6, 2018, motorists can drive on about half of the M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg highway. This opportunity appeared after a new section from 334 to 543 km was put into operation, which runs in the Tver and Novgorod regions. Together with the previously operating sections (bypasses of Torzhok and Vyshny Volochok), a through passage with a length of 335 km (from 208 to 543 km) became available.

The entire toll road from Moscow to St. Petersburg will take 669 km upon completion. Construction company Avtodor plans to open the toll highway to traffic "in full" at the end of 2018.

Earlier, the head of Avtodor Sergey Kelbakh called. According to him, travel along 669 km will cost about 2,000 rubles. That is, the tariff will be brought closer to the maximum allowable: 3 rubles for each kilometer of the way.

Now it is somewhat lower: the maximum daily rate (when paying in cash or by bank card) is 660 rubles, which means about 2 rubles per 1 km. The minimum fare is 356 rubles, this tariff is valid for those who use the T-pass transponder (the price also depends on the discounts that are provided as part of the loyalty program).

For those who do not want to pay for travel on a toll road, there is a free understudy - the M-10 Rossiya highway, which can also be used to get from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Yesterday, June 5, 2018, traffic was launched on a new section with a length of 23 km. It runs along the Tver ring road (bypassing Tver) from 156 to 178 km.

Rosavtodor reconstructed this section: previously there were only three lanes for traffic with intersections at the same level and traffic lights. This led to constant traffic jams. Now the capacity has been increased by increasing the number of lanes (four to the Volokolamsk interchange and six to the northern entrance to Tver). In addition, the road builders built two interchanges at km 164 (with the Turginovsky highway) and 173 km (with the Staritsky highway).

As part of the project, the overpass across the Oktyabrskaya railway was reconstructed, as well as bridges across the Tmaka and Mezhurka rivers. According to representatives of the Federal Highway Agency, 46 km of new electric lighting lines, more than 20 km of axial barrier fencing, and elevated pedestrian crossings were installed on the site.

According to experts, before the reconstruction of the section of the M-10 Rossiya highway, about 40,000 cars passed through it unhindered per day. Now he will be able to provide free passage for 100,000 vehicles.

Russia is gradually rising higher and higher. If in 2012 it was on the 136th line, in 2015 - on the 123rd, then in 2018 the Russian Federation was already on the 114th place. Despite this, the state is still in the top 25 countries with the worst road conditions, led by Mauritania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Haiti. Most of all, residents of the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Switzerland are satisfied with their roads.

The new high-speed highway M-11 Moscow - St. Petersburg will stretch from the Moscow Ring Road to the junction with the Ring Road around St. Petersburg. The total length of the motorway is 669 km. The highway will pass through the territories of the Central and Northwestern federal districts, through the Moscow, Tver, Novgorod and Leningrad regions, bypassing all settlements.

The new road M-11 Moscow - St. Petersburg basically runs parallel to the existing highway M-10 "Russia" and crosses it at km 58, km 149, km 208, km 258, km 334, km 543 with the arrangement of transport interchanges in different levels. This allows you to switch the movement of traffic flows from the M-10 "Russia" to the expressway and vice versa. The construction of the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway is being carried out in several stages, each of which is an independent investment project. The sequence of project implementation is determined by the extent to which the capacity of the corresponding section of the existing M-10 Rossiya federal road does not correspond to the volume of current traffic.

Technical parameters of the expressway:

  • road category - IA (motorway);
  • design speed - 150 km / h;
  • number of traffic lanes - 4, 6, 8, 10 (depending on the stages of construction);
  • lane width - 3.75 m;
  • dividing strip width -6 m;
  • lighting throughout the motorway, including interchanges; traffic interchanges at different levels - 36 pcs.;
  • artificial structures (bridges, overpasses, overpasses and cattle passes) 325 pcs.;
  • traffic interchanges at different levels, depending on the category of roads crossed, are mainly designed according to the clover leaf type;, “double pipe”, “pipe”.

Measures to reduce the impact on the environment to ensure the environmental safety of the facility:

  1. reduction of noise level when passing the road near settlements and nature protection areas with the use of noise barriers and green spaces;
  2. arrangement of special runs in the body of the embankment of the projected road for the migration of wild and domestic animals;
  3. the use of efficient designs of treatment facilities for the treatment of surface runoff within water protection zones.

The improvement of road safety is achieved by the development of a traffic management project using modern energy-intensive barrier fencing, the use of modern materials for applying road markings and installing road signs and indicators. For better and timely information content of road users in the section of intelligent transport systems, variable information boards and multi-position indicators have been developed and applied. The new highway will be the first new highway built in the European part of modern Russia.

Base stations of mobile operators have been installed on toll sections, Megafon has already provided full uninterrupted coverage of the cellular network throughout the entire length of the road. The road is equipped with comfortable rest areas for all types of vehicles. On December 15, 2017, the State Company Avtodor opened traffic on a new section of the M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed highway under construction (km 208-543).

A closed toll collection system operates on the toll sections of the M-11 Moscow-St. Petersburg highway 58 km - 97 km and 208 km - 543 km. A closed tolling system involves paying for the distance actually travelled. When entering the toll sections, the user registers in the system at the entry toll collection point (in the presence of a transponder in automatic mode, without a transponder by taking a ticket from the machine on the travel lane). The user makes payment only at the exit toll collection point.

The concession agreement on financing, construction and operation on a paid basis of this section was signed by the State Company Avtodor and Highway of Two Capitals LLC on November 18, 2014. This section will be completed in 2019.

Rules for driving on the high-speed highway M-11 "Moscow-St. Petersburg":

Without transponder:

  1. Entry. When entering the toll sections, the user must take a ticket (coupon) at the entrance lane of the Toll Collection. Users who are going to pass the toll sections for cash or with a bank card must select the appropriate lane for passing through the Toll Station, take a ticket and be sure to keep it before leaving the toll section.
  2. Departure. At the exit from toll sections, when paying in cash or paying with a bank card, in order to determine the correct fare, it is necessary to present the ticket to the cashier-controller, he will calculate the fare and the user will need to pay for the fare.

With transponder:

  1. Entry. You need to choose a lane for driving on the transponder and reduce the speed to 30 km / h. At the entrance, the system recognizes the presence of a transponder and a positive balance on the account for paying for the fare, the fare is recorded automatically, without the participation of the cashier-controller.
  2. Departure. When leaving the lane for the owners of transponders, the fare is also automatically debited.

If, for some reason, when leaving the toll section, it is not possible to determine at which point the car entered the toll section (there is no ticket, the transponder does not work, etc.), then the maximum fare is charged to the user. This is the highest toll that can be charged at a particular Toll Station for a vehicle of the respective category.

IMPORTANT! If the transponder is not connected to the service, from October 22, 2018, for the transit passage of sections 15 km - 58 km and 58 km - 97 km, when entering the sections, you must first take a ticket, and leave the paid section through the lane with the cashier-controller with the presentation of the ticket and payment in cash or by credit card. To activate the interoperability service, the owners of the T-pass transponder need to personalize it in the Personal Account, use .

The maximum fare applies in the following cases:

  • Travel by transponder, without a specific point of entry.
  • Loss of the ticket by the user.
  • The travel ticket does not contain information about the point of entry or exit.
  • More than 24 hours have passed since the entry to the paid site and the exit from it.
  • Entry with a travel ticket, and exit with a transponder without stopping and transferring the device to the cashier-controller for reading.
