Why is it impossible to heat the apartment with a gas stove? Homemade heater from a gas stove.

Heating systems using gas as fuel are highly efficient and reliable. Thermal energy generators in them have an impressive efficiency and are safe to operate. There are several ways to organize gas heating of a private house.

The information we provide is based on building codes. The information offered for review is complemented by visual photo illustrations, diagrams and video guides.

Without combustible fuel, there will be zero use from any version of the in-house heating system in an autonomous version. Gas is the first thing to think about when planning in country house gas heating.

Not all settlements in Russia are supplied with gas. However, “blue fuel” can be obtained not only from a pipe or cylinder with liquefied fuel, but also from a gas tank.

Natural gas, which consists mainly of methane, is supplied to private homes through pipes. Its liquefied counterpart is a propane-butane mixture, which is pumped into containers for transportation and storage. The pressure in such cylinders and gas holders is about 15–18 atmospheres.

When organizing heating in a private house using balloon containers of 50 liters, the latter will have to be changed every 2-3 days in winter. If for country cottage selected autonomous gas supply, then best of all, which can be up to 20 cubic meters in volume.

The choice of capacity by cubic capacity depends on the level of consumption of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LHG). Here it is necessary to take into account not only the boiler, but also the fireplace and gas stove, if they are used in the house.

If there is no gas main in the village, you can use the option with autonomous fuel supply from a gas tank designed to store gas in a liquefied state

In terms of connection costs, a gas pipeline is in most cases more advantageous than a reservoir in the ground. But only when the settlement is already gasified.

There are also situations in which the installation of a gas tank will be cheaper than connecting to main pipeline. It all depends on the specific connection conditions in the region and the remoteness of the village from a large gas pipeline.

When using a gas tank, you do not have to worry about the presence of pressure in the pipe. It is extremely easy to operate. It is only necessary to regularly call specialists to check it for safety, and also do not forget to refuel. It will take no more than three days to install the entire system.

If an autonomous gasification option is chosen, then one should be purchased that is designed to run on LPG. There are models on sale that are designed to operate exclusively on mains natural gas.

But most gas heat generators are designed to burn both types of this fuel. You only have to change the jets, as well as reconfigure the valve and electronics to a different mode.

The main disadvantage of the gas tank is that it can only be installed on a large area, the capacity, according to the requirements of SNiPs, must be at least 10 m away from the house

The choice of heating gas boiler

Modern gas-fired heat generating equipment has a variety of automation and is able to operate in several modes. It can be floor and wall.

The second option is more compact, but has power limitations. If the model is chosen for a large private house, then you will have to purchase a powerful outdoor unit.

Gas boilers are divided according to the method of execution, type of ignition, energy efficiency, number of circuits and method of removal of combustion products

The principle of operation of a gas boiler is extremely simple - combustibles are ignited in the burner using piezoelectric elements or electronic ignition, then as a result of burning the fuel, thermal energy is generated, which is transferred to water through a heat exchanger.

The latter is already used as a heat carrier in the heating system or is consumed in the hot water supply.

In terms of performance, traditional convection gas boilers lose to condensation. The performance of the former does not exceed 90% of the energy consumption. Manufacturers of the latter guarantee 100% efficiency, some models promise 105 and even 110%

Heat exchanger in gas boiler can be done:

  • steel (stainless steel);
  • copper;
  • cast iron.

The most common options are steel. This metal is cheap and ductile, due to which cracks from constant heating / cooling appear less often in it.

But the steel elements, with constant interaction with the water of the gas heating system, equipped in a country house, quickly begin to corrode.

Cast iron heat exchanger is the most durable, steel is cheaper, and copper is the most efficient in capturing heat transfer to water.

Cast iron is less susceptible to corrosion, but it is quite heavy. Most boiler models with cast iron heat exchangers floor. Mounting such heavy and bulky equipment on the wall is problematic.

If you need a compact and as light as possible, then the best option- with a copper coil. However, it costs the most among analogs from other metals.

To supply the cottage with heat and hot water you can choose a scheme with two single-circuit boilers or a variant with one double-circuit installation

The piping scheme and the principle of its use depend on the number of circuits in a gas-fired water-heating boiler. One heat exchanger was originally designed to organize a gas heating system in a private house. For hot water supply, it is necessary to install another boiler or immediately select a double-circuit model.

Heat hot water for household needs best in storage boiler. Flow models are less economical. They will use more gas for heating.

Wall-mounted gas boilers are a fully equipped miniature boiler room. Their design has its own circulation pump, expansion tank and safety group. Most types of wall-mounted equipment serve two circuits

What is the best combustion chamber?

In order for the gas in the boiler furnace to burn, it needs a constant supply of oxygen. It is taken directly from the boiler room or drawn in from the street. The first option involves a natural flow of air, and the second is forced with a fan.

Gas boilers are equipped with two types of combustion chambers:

  1. Closed- oxygen is supplied through the gap between the paired pipes of different diameters. Combustion products are discharged through the internal channel.
  2. open- air enters the furnace from the room with the heating installation through supply valve. Combustion products are removed by a smoke channel round in cross section.

The first option is independent of the area of \u200b\u200bthe room. Suitable for rooms of any size. It is possible to output a coaxial view of the chimney from a unit with a closed firebox through a wall or top floor with a roof.

In the second case, you will have to install a chimney that is 5–6 meters high, otherwise the draft for being sucked into the combustion chamber required volumes oxygen will not be enough.

But gas boilers with atmospheric burner no electrical connection required. There is no fan in them, everything happens naturally without forced circulation.

Boilers with closed cells and forced air injection compared to open ones have a higher efficiency, but they require a constant power supply to operate

Gas water heaters with an open firebox are recommended to be installed in special rooms with good ventilation. If you mount them in living rooms, then they will greatly reduce the amount of oxygen in them.

without forced ventilation system here it won't work anymore. And this is an additional cost for the installation and subsequent operation of equipment for air ventilation.

Characteristics of condensation models

In conventional gas boilers, water vapor generated during the combustion of gas flies into the chimney. In the process of combustion, it is formed a little, but it still carries a fairly significant amount of thermal energy. In order not to waste this heat, condensing boilers were developed.

The flue gases in the condensing boiler, before leaving the chimney, pass through the secondary heat exchanger, where they slightly heat the cold water entering the unit

The principle of operation of these units is based on the fact that, when cooled, the exhaust gas vapor gives off heat to the water from the return of the heating system. In this case, the heat carrier temperature rises slightly, but the heat exchanger is quite suitable as an additional source of thermal energy.

Condensed water from the condensing boiler is discharged through a special pipe into the sewer or a separate container. Here it is worth clearly understanding one nuance - the resulting condensate is actually a weakly concentrated acid. And it can flow up to 4-6 liters per hour.

If this liquid is poured into a septic tank, then all microbes living in it will be destroyed. If there is a cleaning station in a country house, drain into sewer system condensate from the boiler is not allowed. With the design of the chimney, everything is simpler, just take the one that is designed for boilers with a closed chamber.

Fireplace for gas heating at home

At the cost of equipment, gas fireplaces are comparable to electric or wood-burning counterparts. But gas fuel much cheaper.

And, unlike firewood, gas heating with a fireplace in a country house assumes that there are no problems with ash. Plus, you don’t have to constantly monitor the operation of the firebox and take care of splitting logs.

Fireplaces processing gas in thermal energy, are used in heating systems, because are not equipped with devices necessary for servicing two circuits

By type of installation, gas fireplaces are:

  • wall-mounted;
  • island;
  • embedded.

By general design and internal content(burners, automation, combustion chamber arrangement) they completely repeat gas boilers. In both cases, the technology for connecting to networks is identical. Differences exist only in the principle of space heating.

According to the principle of connecting and organizing the heating system gas fireplaces similar to floor heating boilers

A hot water boiler was originally designed to heat water, and an ordinary fireplace was designed for air convection from the body and front screen, behind which fuel is burned.

Water variant organization schemes

For heating cottages, heating systems with water as a heat carrier are equipped, consisting of:

  • boiler water heating (single-circuit or double-circuit);
  • pipelines and fittings(metal or polypropylene);
  • bypasses, allowing you to turn off individual heaters from the network;
  • batteries(cast iron, aluminum, steel and bimetallic);
  • tank expansion.

Gas heating units are equipped with a specific security system, including solenoid valve and a thermocouple. The devices are connected by wires.

If the heating unit is functioning normally, the thermocouple junction is heated by the igniter. At this time, a current flows freely through the solenoid valve winding, which ensures the open position of the valve.

When the thermocouple cools down, gas access is blocked by a solenoid valve.

According to the scheme, they are single-pipe and two-pipe. In the first case, water is supplied to and removed from the radiator using one pipe. In the second heater connected to two separate pipelines (supply and return).

Heating pipes to batteries can be connected according to the lower, upper, side and diagonal scheme

Heating circuits according to the principle of water movement in pipes come with natural and. With the device of the second option, the coolant circulates in the system due to convection and gravity. A forced scheme involves the installation circulation pump.

To provide normal operation systems with two or more circuits connected to the collector, it provides for the installation of a hydraulic arrow. hydraulic arrow eliminates pressure drops and the likelihood of water hammer.

The expansion tank can be open and closed (divided inside into two parts by a sealed membrane). For gravity heating systems, it will be enough open version. The closed tank is designed for circuits with forced circulation.

When using open expansion tank water is saturated with air, so that this does not become a problem, the system should be supplemented with an air removal circuit

For small cottages the natural principle of water movement will suffice. However, if a residential building has two or three floors, then you cannot do without a pump. The length of the circulation circuit in the first scheme is limited to 30 meters. On the greater distance the boiler will not be able to “push through” water.

At natural circulation there is no pump in the gas heating circuit of a private house. If the boiler is selected as non-volatile, then the entire heating system is independent of the power supply. There are simply no elements that consume electricity in it.

On the one hand, it is more stable in operation, but on the other hand, the quality of heating in it is lower (the water reaches the radiators farthest from the water heater when it has cooled down).

Especially the latter concerns pipelines and batteries made of steel or cast iron. These materials have high hydraulic resistance, which reduces the coolant current.

In addition to using standard radiators in a country house, you can organize gas heating using a "warm floor"

Possibility of organization combined system heating. In it it is connected to the highway through a bypass. If it is necessary to quickly warm the air in the rooms, it turns on to accelerate the circulation of water.

And in other cases, it is cut off from the main pipe stopcocks, while the system continues to function in the natural (gravitational) mode.

Rules for the arrangement of gas heating

Gasification and the construction of a gas-based heating system in a private house is carried out in several stages:

  1. Preparation and subsequent approval in the supervisory authorities of the gas heating project.
  2. Acquisition Supplies, boiler and other equipment.
  3. Connecting the house to the settlement gas networks.
  4. Mounting gas equipment and piping systems with batteries.
  5. Filling pipes with coolant.
  6. Verify functionality by test run.

Prepare for your own country house with all the schemes and calculations without a diploma in heat engineering is impossible.

In addition, the generated documentation still needs to be approved by the gas workers. It is best to entrust all these procedures to the employees of the relevant design and installation organization.

The scheme of arrangement in a private house of gas heating should be calculated to the smallest detail. If the boiler is chosen too powerful, it will burn excess fuel. And if there is insufficient capacity, the unit will have to work at the limit of its capabilities, as a result of which it ahead of time will fail.

To obtain permission to connect to a centralized highway and to use it is necessary to obtain a different package of documents. Before deciding to organize gas system, you need to study not only them, but also weigh all the pros and cons in order to decide on the best option.

Greetings to all blog readers! It's cold outside today it's raining, and so the weather itself suggests talking about how heat the apartment or house. At the same time, it is desirable with significant cost savings. To everything free, a person has special warm feelings. And if we talk about saving money on heating, then on the eve of the coming winter, these feelings stimulate the brain, and this topic becomes super relevant. The Internet is already overheated from the number of requests on this topic. Some are interested in ideas on how to steal from the state more electricity, and pay less for it, others invent ways to circumvent the law of conservation of energy. If the first group is successfully implementing this idea, but at the risk of meeting with the inspector of Energonadzor, then the situation with the other group of Kulibins is, to put it mildly, unimportant. One can only be surprised at the ideas that are born in the head of our inventors.

Take, for example, electric induction cooker. The thing in the kitchen in all respects is very useful. It combines the advantages of electric and gas stove. It seems to me that the inventor himself and the manufacturers of these products could never imagine that someone in Russia would have the idea to use an induction cooker to heat an apartment.

And the idea is as follows. The electric induction cooker is used as a heater for a water boiler. The boiler crashes into existing system water heating. Here everything is as usual. The whole trick, according to the author of the invention, is to convert energy to power the induction cooker.

The plate is included in electrical outlet not directly, but through a charger, a couple of batteries, an inverter. A 2000 W induction cooker is used, which can be purchased for 1500 rubles. There is no need to invent anything here. The current power in it can be changed on the control panel, and the built-in timer automatically regulates the heating. For stable operation, you will need a 4000 W and 12 V inverter, two 250 Ah batteries.

Assembly sequence electrical circuit clear from the figure. The question is how “free” the heat received in such an apartment heating system will be. Judge for yourself: energy losses from the outlet to the stove are inevitable, which means that System efficiency heating is reduced. It is more efficient, in my opinion, to plug the stove directly into the outlet. As for frequent power outages, this system really able to work autonomously for some time. Or am I wrong?

But that is not all. Here is another option for heating "warm floor", which uses this scheme for connecting an electric induction cooker.

It is unlikely that one electric induction hob execute efficient heating apartments. It would be interesting to know the opinion of those who have already tested such a heating system in practice. Write, share your ideas. I think that the problem of home heating with the annual increase in energy tariffs worries most Russians.

We're warming ourselves, homemade ones! 22 exits!

A selection of site materials about heating

(heating, heat generators, stoves, manuals, drawings, diagrams)

What parameters should be taken into account when designing and installing a heating system, and is it possible to do all this on your own without resorting to the services of expensive specialists? This will be discussed further.

For those who have never encountered issues of designing heating systems and choosing necessary equipment, it will be difficult to correctly select its individual components. The fact is that the heating system is not sold as a set - it must be assembled from different elements, which should be combined with each other without any problems. Among the main components of the heating system, the boiler is primarily selected, as well as pipes and radiators. It is important to choose the coolant and its amount in the system. And now about all the components in more detail.

4. Do-it-yourself inertial heating system (diagrams and drawings)

The author's version of the inertia-free heating system and hot water supply of a room with an adjustable heat accumulator (the famous "Andreevka"). It is intended for use in private houses, summer cottages and outbuildings. Allows you to significantly save on fuel due to the heat accumulator. Basic materials: sheet steel 4 mm; pipes; standard products: convectors, pipeline fittings.

On the pages of this book, the reader will find answers to questions related to home heating. Heating systems and schemes, design, heating boilers and appliances, boiler room piping, equipment installation, stoves, fireplaces, water and electric underfloor heating - all these, as well as many other issues, are discussed in detail in the book.

We present to you the simplest system heating.

It consists of homemade boiler, which works on the burner of a kitchen gas stove, as well as heating radiators, a circulation pump, homemade expansion tank and plastic pipelines! Such a system does an excellent job of heating an apartment at a time when centralized system heating has not yet begun its work, and the apartment has already become cold! Drawing indicating the materials used and appearance heating systems are shown in the photo and in autocad, which are collected in one archive. After viewing the photo, many will understand the principle of operation of the heating system. There is also a description of the manufacturing process of the boiler and various details systems.

The water heater circuit shown below can significantly reduce energy costs. Judge for yourself when consuming only 150 watts from the mains, the device heats water just like a heater with a power of 1.5 - 2 kilowatts! The secret of such efficiency lies in the use of reactive current.

Of particular interest to many consumers is the use of the so-called "working off" as a heat source, i.e. waste oils and other oil waste. This article is devoted to consideration of this type of heating.

9. Swirl heater "Kid" (drawings and diagrams)

Designed for accelerated air heating in rooms up to 200 m³, cooking.

The goal is practical implementation heating the house using the technique of induction melting of metals. The idea is not new and is to place the inductor around the heating pipe. By heating the pipe, we thereby heat the water that circulates in the heating system. The basic premise that can significantly reduce energy costs is an oscillatory circuit (inductor->capacitors) that operates in resonance. There is an increase in voltage by about tens of times, which heats the metal.

It’s winter, it’s cold and heating is not always good for everyone, for example, heating Lugansk is fine and people don’t freeze, but personally in the Volgograd region, things are bad with heating, so we have to invent something ourselves and warm up. Therefore, this burning issue is on the agenda today.

In order to make warm floors, you can easily find everything you need in the store: metal-polymer polyethylene pipes that can withstand high temperatures and high pressure. It will not be difficult to lay them on the floor than, for example, install them on the wall or connect to the system conventional battery heating.

14. Autonomous mini-heater (drawings and diagrams)

In the circle of the CE community, the Frenette heat pump is a fairly popular device due to its simplicity and efficiency above 1000%. But few people know that the surprises and "miracles" that can be presented this device don't end at all on its extremely high efficiency, and perhaps only begin!

A review is given of the most successful schemes and designs of cavitation-vortex heat generators of the rotary type, which provide an efficiency (the ratio of generated thermal energy to consumed electrical energy) greater than one and operate mainly on water. Both experimental installations of various authors and pilot heat generators developed under the guidance of Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Yu.S. Potapov and successfully operated at a number of enterprises in the CIS are described.

Working drawings and sketches of at least four types rotary heat generators, three of which are obtained by converting standard centrifugal pumps into a heat generator.

Garage heating issues winter period have to decide the owners of buildings that are not connected to centralized network or not built into a single heating system suburban area. Often, an additional garage heater saves motorists whose individual car parking is heated with insufficient efficiency. The cold, which adversely affects the car, preventing the owner from working in the garage, can be dealt with in several ways. The choice of an appropriate option depends on the economic condition of the owner of the car and the type of building for its storage.

A liquid fuel stove (hereinafter referred to as PZhT) is designed for space heating using motor, industrial, transmission, transformer, solar oils and other liquid lubricants that have exhausted their resource as fuel. Also, fuel oil, kerosene, heating oil can be used as fuel.

In order not to be misunderstood, let me first explain what a fireplace stove is. A fireplace stove is a fireplace that has furnace channels and, therefore, performs the functions heating furnace. Since the fireplace cannot physically work with furnace channels, required attribute fireplace stoves - a door that closes the portal. With the door open, we can admire the open fire of the fireplace, with the door closed, we can accumulate heat for heating the room. To be able to see the fire in the furnace mode, the doors are usually made of glass.

Anyone can make such a stove.

On a hike, on a fishing trip, during minor car repairs on the road in inclement cold weather, when the fingers of frozen hands stop obeying, there is a need for an ordinary heating pad. Of course, it’s good to warm up by the fire, but it’s not always possible to make it, and this will take time and trouble. And if you make a small chemical heating pad? It does not take up much space and will always be at hand.

In the cold season to maintain comfortable temperature There is not enough heating power in the apartment. To solve this problem, I made a simple and economical heater from improvised materials.

We give a homemade gas heater

I cut out a rectangular plate 200x400 mm from a profiled sheet (see photo, item 1) - according to the size of half total area his four-burner gas stove.

In two pieces of pipe d 100 mm, 100 and 400 mm long, cut off one end at an angle of 45 degrees with a grinder. Then I welded both segments at a right angle (2) and the resulting part, using two metal corner located on both sides of the pipe, welded to the plate (1).

I installed a computer fan (4) in a smaller piece of pipe, connected a 12 V power supply (5) to it.

From the bottom of the structure, along the axis of a long pipe section, I drilled 4 holes d 12 mm at a distance of 10 cm from each other. They are needed so that the heated air enters the pipe through them.

I install the heater on the stove, set fire to the burners and turn on the fan. Warm air enters the pipe through 4 lower holes, is heated and, blown out by a fan, quickly heats up the room.

Attention!
Do not leave the switched on device unattended. Gas burners do not turn on the maximum flame.
