Third option. If there is none, it is installed simultaneously with a hygienic shower as follows:
- choose a place for the sink and watering can, mark it on the wall;
- determine how the pipes will be laid and make grooves in these places;
- lay the pipes so that there are two connection points: hot and cold water;
- determine the location of the sink and install it;
- cover the grooves with cement-sand mortar, plaster mixture or tile adhesive;
- connect the sink outlet to the sewerage system;
- install a faucet on the sink, which must have a separate outlet for connecting a flexible hose;
- connect a flexible hose to the mixer;
- in a predetermined place, holes are drilled on the wall to install the watering can holder;
- install the holder;
- connect the watering can to a flexible hose and install it in the holder.
But not every toilet in modern apartments has enough space to install a sink. For this reason, other options for creating a hygienic shower are used.
Connection to an existing water supply system
In used toilets, water and sewer pipes are hidden by building plasterboard boxes. To install a hygienic shower, this external protection will have to be dismantled. Then proceed as follows:
- turn off the taps that regulate the supply of hot and cold water;
- select the insertion points for the tees and install them;
- choose a method for laying pipes and install them, having previously connected them to the tees;
- wrap the threaded connections of the mixer with plumbing linen and/or fluoroplastic fum tape;
- install the mixer;
- connect a flexible hose to it;
- install the holder on the wall;
- connect a flexible hose to a watering can.
In this installation method, the main difficulty will be the installation of pipes. They can be laid open or closed. But regardless of the installation option, special attention is paid to the tightness of the connections.
Instead of two tees, you can install only one: on the hot water pipe. And connect to cold water from the outlet to the toilet. Sometimes this installation will be most convenient. The connection option is selected based on the characteristics of pipe routing and plumbing connections in a particular room.
If you take your time and carefully consider every step, installing a hygienic shower in the toilet will not cause any particular difficulties. Properly installed equipment will serve well for many years.
A shower designed for personal hygiene is not much different from conventional equipment. Like its standard counterpart, it includes three elements: a flexible hose, a watering can nozzle and.

The elite category includes electronically controlled bidet covers. From the remote control, the user adjusts the pressure and direction of the jet, sets the temperature of the liquid, and selects one of five drying modes. At the end of the work, the plumbing fixtures are automatically deodorized.
Wall equipment
The hose with the sprayer is connected to the water supply in the immediate vicinity of the toilet. The mixer can be built into the wall or mounted on top of it. The pipes are laid in grooves and walled up or laid on top of the wall trim. In the latter case, they are masked with a decorative box. The system is easy to operate and install, and is very reliable. Can be additionally equipped with a thermostat.
Sink connection
A good option for combined bathrooms, where the sink is located near. In such cases, a non-standard mixing device with three outlets is installed, one of which is intended for the shower head. Since all types of plumbing fixtures differ significantly in design, each has separate installation instructions. Let's look at them one by one.
1. Installing the bidet cover
The range of such devices is wide. Models are available with and without heated supply water. In the first case, an electrical connection is required. Usually in this case there is also a hair dryer with one (or more) modes. Disinfecting systems are installed as additional options. This means that you will need to secure the tank, which is filled with liquid to treat the nozzles and bowl.
Other additional options are possible. All this complicates installation. Therefore, before carrying out it, you need to read the manufacturer’s instructions on how to properly install a hygienic toilet.
Step-by-step installation instructions
- Close the shut-off valve. We empty the flush tank. Remove the lid from it, unscrew the connecting hose suitable for the container.
- Remove the old cover, if there is one.
- We remove the nuts and washers from the fastening bolts of the new fixture, thread them into the holes of the plumbing fixture intended for this purpose, and tighten them.
- We install a tee, install a hose that will connect it to the tank. We fix the filter.
- We connect the tee and the supporting structure. We check the operation of the system.
If the bidet lid is volatile, for example with built-in heating or with a hairdryer, we connect it to the network.
2. Wall design
It’s good if the decision to install the system is not spontaneous. If it is accepted before repair, all communications can be laid hidden, inside the groove. Location determination

Pipeline connection
Find the shortest route for the water supply from the input section to the holder bracket and mixer. Mark it on the surface. According to the marking, grooves are cut for hot and cold pipelines. For built-in elements of plumbing equipment, a recess of a certain size is cut out. A plastic box is inserted into it. It will protect parts from dust, and the wall material from excessive moisture.

Unlike built-in ones, wall-mounted modifications are easier to install. Eccentrics are placed in the water outlets connected to the intended location. They help to accurately set the horizontal position of the part and the distance between the axes of the valves. Then the mixer is secured with union nuts. A shower hose with a shower head is screwed onto its outlet.
3. Connection to the sink
You can connect to the sink yourself, provided you have a special mixing device with three outlets. Two of them are connected to the hot and cold water supply terminals, and a flexible plastic tube with a shower head is attached to the third. Important note: for the equipment to function properly, the distance from the sink to the sink must be small. This is clearly visible in the photo.
If the bathroom is already in use, you will have to remove the old faucet before installation. It is being replaced with a new one with three outputs. Two of them are connected to communications as standard. The third is connected to a flexible hose using a threaded fitting. 4. Bowl mounting
This option involves purchasing an installation kit with a platform on which the mixer is installed. Additionally, most likely, you will need a tee and a hose that will connect it to the area where it taps into the water supply.
Installation sequence
- Close the shut-off valves and drain the tank. Carefully unscrew and remove the cover.
- Unpack the installation kit. To do everything right, read the manufacturer's recommendations.
- We determine on which side the mixing equipment will be installed. Taking this into account, we lay the support bar.
- We place the bidet pad on top of it so that the mounting holes match. Installing the seat. We insert the fasteners into the holes and tighten them securely.
- We assemble the mixer and connect a flexible line to it. We insert the device into the seat and secure it with mounting plates.
- We take the adapter and screw it to the mixing equipment. Then screw on the tee.
- We assemble a shower complex. We connect it with a tee. We hang the watering can on a special stand.
- We connect the bidet pad to the water supply device. We make sure that the connection is tight.
- We open the shut-off valve and check the functionality of the complex.
