In November, the Ministry of Education of Buryatia announced the holding of the municipal competition "Best in Achievement". The winners are paid a monetary incentive in the amount of 45 thousand rubles in order to increase the prestige of teaching work.

Teachers had to form a portfolio folder with their professional achievements for all the years of work. Then, according to several criteria, it was evaluated on a five-point scale. Those who scored the most points become the owners of the cash prize.

In total, a quota for 26 nominees was determined for the Bichursky district. Vera Novokreshchennykh, head of the regional methodological office, was appointed the head of the municipal expert group. Sergey Novokreshchennykh, Head of the District Directorate, has been appointed Chairman of the Municipal Competition Commission.

As a result, a total of 75 teacher portfolios were submitted. After the assessment, a rating was compiled. Those who scored over 42 points became contenders for 45 thousand rubles.

Six people were included in the list of lucky ones. However, none of them were happy. They, like their other colleagues, are disappointed with the way the selection procedure was carried out.

School No. 1 director Natalya Slepneva supported the dissatisfaction of her subordinates. She also believes that the unhealthy situation in the CBR is the fault of one person - Vera Novokreshchennykh, and the head of the CBR let the situation take its course. And at this time, the head of the district method cabinet promotes people who are convenient for her.

The dissatisfied teachers of school No. 1 admit that the reason for doubts was the fact that the appointed experts are only those teachers who were brought closer by Novokreschennyh.

However, Vera Novokreshchennykh, the head of the district methodological office, assures that everything is justified. According to her, over the years, a group of teachers has emerged in the district, which is “the best” today.

They constantly participate in various competitions, all experienced. Among them are those who have already entered the republican competition "Pedagogical Elite". This is such a great recognition! - insists the Faith of the Newly Baptized.

The official also assures that for the sake of objectivity, the fact that several experts were nominated for the award was taken into account.

The experts themselves say they are outraged by the reaction of the teachers of Secondary School No. 1. They claim that for two days they conducted an honest assessment of the submitted portfolios under the supervision of a CBR lawyer.

This is the opinion of the teachers of Bichur Secondary School No. 1. In their opinion, the main criterion for evaluating a teacher's activity is the quality of education, the level of knowledge acquired by children. However, in the last competition, in their opinion, the experts mainly evaluated the brilliance of the portfolio, the content of reports on participation in various seminars. And already in last place  - the achievements of teachers in terms of the quality of education.

Our folders, apparently, were less thick. We were even told not to take black, we had to buy colored ones. But this is absurd! - outraged teachers say in a voice.

In their opinion, the most indisputable achievement is the success of the students.

We have teachers who have had seven medalists in their class alone this year! This is an achievement, I think, - says Alexander Utenkov, geography teacher at the School of High School No. 1.

The teachers of this school do not challenge the professional merits of colleagues who have become experts. However, we are sure that in this case it would be more honest if independent experts were recruited from among the venerable teachers from each district school.

The contest "Best in Achievements" in the Bichursky district will be held again. Now only CBR methodologists will act as experts and members of the commission. Therefore, one can hardly speak of a "bunch of dissatisfied." In any case, everyone saw once again that there is no unity in the ranks of the communists. It can also be recalled that Fyodor Buraev, a member of the Khural of the Communist Party faction, continued his scandalous antics even after Vyacheslav Markhaev's censure. From this we can assume that the leader of the Buryat Communist Party, inclined towards authoritarianism, cannot actually control even his closest associates.

But nevertheless, the participation of Vyacheslav Markhaev in the election of the head of Buryatia would be desirable for everyone. Alexei Tsydenov also needs this, so that the elections do not turn into a "one-man theater", Vyacheslav Markhaev himself needs it. After all, avoiding such a serious challenge will seriously undermine his image in the eyes of supporters, and attempts to blame everything on the machinations of the “party of power” will not seem convincing to everyone.
