Northeast chord. Current state of affairs

The section of the North-Eastern Expressway - from Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Highway - will be completed by 2018. Its length is almost 11 kilometers, there will be many flyovers, overpasses and tunnels. Work on the new site is now in full swing. On Monday, Sergei Sobyanin visited the large-scale construction site.

Almost five kilometers of highway along the Oktyabrskaya railway. On the working scheme for the construction of the North-Eastern Expressway, this section is number 7. It will connect the existing exit to the Moscow-St. Petersburg highway with Dmitrovskoye Highway. The amount of work is enormous. Indeed, in addition to the construction of the roadway itself, it is necessary to shift kilometers of communications, reports.

By the beginning of construction here prepared thoroughly. The road will pass through the territory of a vast industrial zone. Dozens of buildings have to be demolished to make room. Car repair shops, warehouses, garage complexes - all this is being removed to accommodate flyovers and overpasses. Even the pumping station, which serves the entire microdistrict, will be moved to the other side of the railway line. At the same time, consumers will not be turned off for a minute. Such preparatory work not only takes a lot of time, but also makes up a significant part of the budget.

"60 percent of our efforts and time will be spent on liberating the territory, transferring communications - these are heating mains, water supply, power lines, other underground, for example, cable collectors, we will begin large-scale construction of the structures themselves," said the head of the construction department Moscow Andrey Bochkarev.

In total, more than 10 kilometers of roads will be built on this section. Most of it will pass through overpasses and overpasses. The 170-meter bridge across the Likhoborka River will become one of the most complex engineering structures. Its width will make it possible to accommodate 11 lanes for traffic with access to a major road junction towards the Yaroslavl Highway.

“We have started the most difficult section of the Moscow road network. This is the connection of the toll road to St. Petersburg and Dmitrovka. We have already completed one section to Festivalnaya, now we have started the second section, which almost entirely consists of overpasses, overpasses, tunnels and a bridge We hope that we will finish it in 2018," Sobyanin said.

However, some sections of the builders promise to hand over earlier. When ready. When the section from Festivalnaya to Dmitrovka is completed in its entirety, it will become part of the 35-kilometer North-Eastern chord. It will be a "first category" city highway. A multi-lane, traffic-free highway that will provide a diagonal connection between opposite districts of Moscow, while skirting the busy streets of the center.

Andrey Sidorenko, Vladimir Chernykh, Ilya Ushakov, "TV Center".

For more than a year, I was going to make a report about the construction of the North-Eastern Expressway in the area of the Shchelkovo highway and the Entuziastov highway. Standing once again in a traffic jam, I glanced at the towering flyovers, and promised myself to coordinate access to construction sites. As a result, he didn’t get together, didn’t agree, and didn’t take it off. But the other day I looked at the endless interchanges in Moscow from above. It turned out even clearer.

1. Let's start with the eternal construction in the area of the Enthusiasts Highway. Here passes the North-Eastern Chord (SVKh), which will connect the most densely populated areas of Moscow - the southeast and the north. The route crosses Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye, Dmitrovskoye, Altufevskoye, Otkrytoye Highway and Entuziastov Highway.

2. Probably every Moscow motorist at least once stood in a big traffic jam on the Enthusiasts Highway.

In the morning to the center to Burakova street, in the evening to the region from the Third Ring Road.

3. During the entire period of construction on this section, they managed to dismantle the old overpass of the railway ring road, build 4 new overpasses for the MCC and 7 overpasses of temporary storage warehouses.

4. Some of them are already open - these are the exits from the temporary storage warehouse to the Entuziastov highway to the center and the region, the exit from Perovskaya Street and the exits from the Entuziastov highway to the temporary storage warehouse. Who traveled, he knows.

5. TSW, view to the north towards Izmailovo.

6. View to the south.

8. Nearby, 200 meters away, two more flyovers were built, leaving for Budyonny Avenue.

11. It can be seen that the flyovers are already ready, but not all the buildings on the path of the new road have been demolished.

12. A large interchange is being built near the Andronovka station of the MCC. To the left in the frame the road goes towards Izmailovo, down - to Budyonny Avenue. To the left upwards in the bright sun - to the streets of Kosinskaya, Anosova, the alleys of Pervaya Mayevka, Plyushchev and Masterovaya.

13. View from Annosov street. On the right in the frame, the road with cars is the current exit to the temporary storage warehouse from Perovskaya Street.

14. On the section from the platform of the Plushevo station, the projected highway will rise to the overpass and pass over the tracks of the Gorky direction of the railway, as well as over Anosova street. Anosov Street itself will be expanded to 2 lanes in each direction, with the possibility of exits and arrivals on the overpass of the main passage.

15. Industrial area and the intersection of the Gorky and Kazan directions of the railway. If you look closely, you can see two passenger platforms - Chukhlinka and Perovo. The construction site of the new overpass is visible in the foreground.

16. At this point, the Overpass will connect several areas cut by railroad tracks at once. It will take 30 seconds to get from Pervaya Mayevka Alley to Annosova Street, instead of the usual 15 minutes for a detour.

17. Part of the Kuskovsky forest park and a view towards the station Plushevo and Veshnyaki. At this point, the new overpass should run right along the border of the park, which causes a lot of controversy and criticism from a number of local residents and environmentalists.

18. Now let's fast forward to the west and look at some more huge interchanges. This is how the large junction of the Aminyevskoye Highway and General Dorokhov Street, one of the sections of the South Rokada, looks like.

19. The new road will run to Mosfilmovskaya Street. As part of the interchange, a two-lane tunnel will be built for the exit from General Dorokhova Street to Aminyevskoye Highway in the direction of Mozhaika. If you look closely, you can see its portal in the photo.

20. View from the Aminevsky highway.

24. A new overpass at the intersection with Vereiskaya and Nezhinskaya streets, as well as a bridge across the Setun.

25. Future tunnel at the intersection with Artamonova street.

27. I haven't been to Ryabinovaya Street for 5 years. I didn't recognize her at all. This is how the turning overpass from Vyazemskaya and Vitebskaya streets to Ryabinovaya street looks like.

29. To the left - Projected passage 1901, passing into Vyazemskaya, Vitebskaya and Skolkovo highways, to the right - Ryabinovaya street.

31. Curious in form interchange with Troekurovsky passage. She is vertical in the title photo)

33. Vyazemskaya street, Skolkovo highway and Vitebskaya street. Above you can see Mozhaika.

34. Built, you know!

The idea of building chord highways was born in the city more than forty years ago, but they came to its realization only now, when it became finally clear that there were not enough roads between the districts, and there was nothing for transit traffic to do in the center. Specialists of Mosinzhproekt JSC, a full-cycle engineering company specializing in projects for the development of transport infrastructure and utilities, are working on a large-scale chord project.

For reference: JSC Mosinzhproekt is the sole operator of the Moscow Metro development program, the general designer of the reconstruction of outbound highways and interchanges, a participant in the Moscow Transport Interchange Hubs (TPU) development program, the general contractor for the reconstruction of the Luzhniki stadium and the management company for the construction of the Zaryadye park ".

P.S. It's a pity I didn't have time to shoot the temporary storage warehouse and Shchelkovo highway. Next time now.

Dmitry Chistoprudov,

The next and most difficult section of the North-Eastern Chord is planned to be commissioned in 2018. It will connect the M11 Moscow-Petersburg toll highway and Dmitrovskoe highway. Today, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin inspected the progress of the road construction and was pleased with the pace of work.

“We have begun the most difficult section of the Moscow road network. One lot to st. We have already done the festival one, now we have started the second section, which almost entirely consists of flyovers, overpasses, tunnels and a bridge. We hope that in 2018 we will finish it, ”the Moscow agency quotes the mayor.

It is not the first or even the second year that Moscow has been building three major roads - the North-Eastern chord, the North-Western and the Southern rokada. However, as it turned out, not all citizens know what it is and why it is needed. So MOSLENTA decided to remind and start from the North-East.

Where and where

The North-Eastern chord (another name is the "Northern Rocade") will connect the south-east and north of Moscow along the periphery, i.e. the most densely populated areas of the city. It began to be built as a continuation of the only already erected section of the Fourth Transport Ring (ChTK, it was abandoned). The route will also connect major highways of the northeast: Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye, Dmitrovskoye, Altufevskoye and Otkrytoye highways, which will reduce traffic congestion.

The total length of the road will be 29 km. The chord will run from the M11 Moscow-Petersburg toll highway from the western side of the Oktyabrskaya railway, along the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway to a new interchange on the Moscow Ring Road at the intersection with the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway.

The section of the North-East Expressway under construction from Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Highway

Conventionally, it is divided into several sections, which are now in different stages of readiness:

From Businovskaya Interchange to Festivalnaya Street (opened in 2014);

From Festivalnaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Highway (under construction, inspected today);

From Dmitrovsky to Yaroslavskoe highway (projected);

From Yaroslavskoe to Otkrytoye shosse (routing not defined);

From Otkrytoye to Shchelkovo highway (projected);

From Shchelkovsky to Izmailovskoye highway (under construction);

From Izmailovsky highway to Enthusiasts highway (under construction);

From the Entuziastov highway to the interchange at 8 km of the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy MKAD (projected).

Associated infrastructure

The northeastern chord is being built at a rapid pace. In September, a year earlier than planned, several objects were put into operation at once on the section from Shchelkovskoye to Izmailovsky Highway: two flyovers of the main passage and one as part of a three-level interchange at the intersection of the chord with Shchelkovskoye Highway. This section will be completed by the end of the year.

Also, a lot of additional road infrastructure will be built on the road:

Overpass of the main passage No. 1, 333 meters long with four lanes;

The left overpass of the main passage No. 2, 1.5 kilometers long, with four traffic lanes;

The right overpass of the main passage No. 2, 1.56 kilometers long, with four traffic lanes;

Overpass of the main passage No. 4 with a length of 600 meters with three traffic lanes in each direction;

Three ramps-congress with a total length of 977 meters;

Railway overpass 189 meters long on the connecting branch of the Oktyabrskaya railway;

The bridge over the Likhoborka River is 169 meters long with six traffic lanes in one direction and five in the opposite direction. Such a width of the bridge is needed to connect the next section of the chord - from Dmitrovsky highway to Yaroslavsky.

Pumping station "Khovrinskaya", serving the districts of Khovrino, Koptevo, Savelovsky, Timiryazevsky;

Underground pedestrian crossing at the platform of the Oktyabrskaya railway;

Two treatment facilities;

Five thousand window blocks will be replaced with soundproof ones.

Benefit

The highway, together with all these facilities, should make life easier for four million citizens, the authorities are sure. For example, end-to-end communication will be established between the regions of the South-Eastern Administrative District, the Northern Administrative District and the Eastern Administrative District, bypassing the center, and new public transport routes will appear. It will be especially convenient for residents of the Golovinsky, Koptevo and Timiryazevsky districts.

A definite plus for drivers is that traffic will be traffic-free. The average travel time will be reduced by more than 15 percent, the MKAD will be unloaded by 20-25 percent, and the traffic flows of the Third Ring Road, Shchelkovskoye Highway, Entuziastov Highway, as well as Ryazansky and Volgogradsky Avenues will be intelligently redistributed. Well, traveling along the M11 Moscow-Petersburg highway will not need to look for ways to the center.

Design History

The idea of creating chords in Moscow was proposed in the first half of the 20th century. In the 1930s, the well-known planner and urbanist Anatoly Yakshin spoke about them. Later, already in the 1970s, his students, including the leading Russian expert in the field of transport planning Alexander Strelnikov, again returned to the discussion of this topic.

Although at that time there were few cars on the streets of the capital, even then they thought that their number would grow. Therefore, the concept of chords was laid down in the general plan of the city in 1971. In addition to the Moscow Ring Road and the Garden Ring, two new ring roads and four high-speed chord highways were designed in it. However, then the projects remained on paper. Gradually, sections were built up on which they were going to build roads, and the money was eventually invested in the Third Transport Ring, and then in the Fourth.

The idea to build chords was resurrected only in 2011. Then the authorities abandoned the construction of the Fourth Transport Ring, which was previously included in the general plan. The main reason is the exorbitant cost, which exceeded a trillion rubles.

Instead of the ChTK, they were going to build three new highways: the North-Western chord, the North-Eastern chord (another name is the Northern Rocade) and the Southern Rokada. These roads should eventually form an open ring system. The result will be the same ring, but more efficient in terms of the distribution of traffic flows, because each element will go to the Moscow Ring Road. According to experts, this principle of organizing traffic is 20 percent more efficient than a closed ring road. In addition, three new chords will not pass through the congested city center.

Data provided by the official portal of the Moscow Stroykompleks

This autumn, the North-Eastern and North-Western chords in Moscow will be connected by a turning overpass on Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street. Pyotr Aksenov, First Deputy Head of the Construction Department, told journalists about this when he visited one of the sections of the North-Eastern Expressway under construction.

As RG already wrote, the metropolitan chords can be compared with the Moscow Ring Road or the Third Transport Ring in terms of the scale of construction and the impact on city traffic. They will save Muscovites from tens of kilometers of reruns, which they are now forced to do in order to get to the neighboring area. Chords will allow you to cross the city through and through, without stopping at the historical center. Both highways will be free.

In particular, the SZH will run from Dmitrovsky to Skolkovskoye Highway, and the SZH will run from the Moscow-St. Petersburg toll road to the interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road and the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy interchange. After the highways are fully launched, the load on the outbound routes, according to the calculations of the NI and PI of the General Plan of Moscow, will decrease by 20-25 percent.

Separate sections of chords are already used by motorists, and some of their elements are still being completed. For example, the junction of Festivalnaya Street and Dmitrovskoye Highway. It is almost 11 km long, and half of this path goes along bridges and flyovers. Artificial structures were specially designed so that they went as far as possible from the houses and did not cause inconvenience to their residents. Nevertheless, just in case, in the skyscrapers of the northeast, builders replaced 6,000 windows with silent ones. However, construction is already over. Visually, the overpasses are almost ready, there is still something left to finish on the engineering side.

We have indeed completed 90 percent of the work, Aksenov said. - But there was a slight delay. On one of the plots there is the Khovrinsky pumping station, where communications need to be shifted. In winter, this could not be done so that 3.5 thousand local residents, whose houses are powered by it, do not suffer.

Turning off the station, it turned out, is possible only on May 15. According to Aksenov, it is possible to launch the northern section of the chord by the City Day in September. This will complete the work for almost the entire length of the temporary storage warehouse. Construction is still ongoing on the section between Schelkovskoye and Otkrytoye Highways.

In the near future, in the southwest of the city, the North-Eastern passage will connect with the North-West. In the area of Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street, it is planned to build several connecting overpasses at once. The first of them, a reversal, will be completed in October this year. It allows you to drive from one chord track to another without wasting time on a detour along the Dmitrov highway. Let me note that the Moscow authorities expect to complete both chords by 2020-2021.
