Characters in the game

There are currently 34 different characters in the game. You can get them by collecting soul stones, or from special chests that become available for free once a day.

Hero classes:

All characters in the game have their own class. There are four different hero classes in DragonSoul. Depending on the class, the character's characteristics change. Also, fighters of the same class can have different types of attacks and different options for dealing damage.

1. Tank (in the Russian version “Big Man”) - their main attribute, of course, is strength. They participate in battles on the front lines, causing a lot of damage and taking a lot of damage. Characterized by increased health and vitality. Their main task is to help the back lines deal damage and act as a human shield for them.
2. Damage (in the Russian version “Damage”) - the main damage dealers in the game. If you have a strong, armored hero against you, then this is exactly the target for damage. Their main goal is to incapacitate enemies without giving them the opportunity to deal damage. Their main focus is increasing intelligence; these are peculiar stunners that give a great advantage to the team if the actions of their skills work. They are also able to take away the energy of opponents, preventing them from using their skills.

Leveling up heroes

As in any MMORPG in DragonSoul, characters can and should be improved, making them stronger, more powerful and more resilient. There are three different criteria for leveling up heroes:

• Leveling up - the most common type of leveling, includes increasing the hero’s level, while the character receives an increase in skills and characteristics. How much his characteristics increase can be calculated by reading information about him in the character window. It shows the increase in stat points for each new level.
• Star pumping - Each character has its own star level. By default, heroes have from one to three stars, and they can be upgraded to up to five in total. The level of stardom mainly depends on the increase in units of characteristics with each level, so by raising the stardom of a character who has a high level, you can immediately significantly increase his power. Some characters already have more than one star, but these are more difficult to buy or obtain. To increase your star level, you need to collect the required number of soul stones.
• Color boost - besides the fact that the character’s characteristics can be improved with the help of stars, it is quite possible to increase them by changing the color of the hero. In this case, the increase will not be large, but it can still help in critical situations. There are four main colors in total, which in turn are divided into additional sublevels (white is the simplest color, green, blue and purple are the most pumped up and give the most increase in characteristics).

Items for heroes

IN DragonSoul There is also a system of items that serve to increase the character's characteristics. But unlike other games, this system is very simple and does not require any global calculations or anything like that.

The system itself will tell you which hero can attach which item: if a green plus sign appears in a free space on the hero, this means that either the item can be equipped, or the item can first be created and then equipped. If the plus sign is yellow, it means that the item can be collected/equipped, but only after the character reaches the required level, since all items require a certain level of the hero. If there is an arrow in the sector of an item, this means that your character can receive this item if you get it or collect it using crafting.

Any hero can only carry 6 different things, and what these things should be is indicated immediately in the equipment. You will not be able to put others in their place. Each item gives its own bonus, usually it is associated with the needs and requirements of the class to which the character belongs (for example, the tank class is characterized by items that enhance their damage and restore health).

Once all six items are collected, you can change the character’s color level - this is what equipment is needed for.

Each item has its own color scheme, the same as the character. The higher the color, the more bonuses the item gives.

In addition to ordinary things, to increase the color level, you need special items that can be obtained either in chests (it is unlikely that the exact item you need will drop out) or in the store (the list of items available for purchase is so meager that you can only hope that after updating the assortment the required item will be available), or craft it yourself from the available materials.

To craft an item you will need its parts (one of them will most likely be in the form of a scroll): if you have these parts, then the numbers opposite the item are displayed in green, if not, then in red. Any missing item can be obtained from companies; to do this, just click on it with the mouse and select the task for which this item is given as a reward.

When you have collected all the parts, you can click on the create button, and the items will disappear and one new one will appear. You will also spend a certain amount of gold, which is indicated on the creation button. The better the crafted item, the more it costs to create it.

If a character has a level limit for a crafted item, then you will not be able to put it on right away, but after reaching this level, this opportunity becomes available.

Each hero has four different skills in his arsenal, and initially he can only use one. To unlock other abilities, the player will have to raise the character's color level.

Each skill belongs to its own color type:

• White skill: available from the very beginning of the game;
• Green skill: available as soon as the hero makes the first improvement using equipment;
• Blue skill: activated if the character becomes blue in color level;
• Purple Skill: The most powerful and final ability, becomes available when the character turns purple.

Each skill has its own levels. If you pick it up, the characteristics of the ability instantly increase.

Guilds

Starting from player level 15, the opportunity to join a guild opens up. Guilds are associations of gamers to jointly complete missions and tasks. Some types of battle are only available to players who are members of associations. In guilds you can buy soul stones and other expensive items. In addition, the guild has its own bulletin board, where you can post any character starting from level 20, while earning gold.

The guild has its own avatar, country name and motto. Also in the guild menu you can view various information about it and its members.

For participating in joint campaigns, the player receives a special reward in the form of coins. They can be exchanged in the shop for useful items.

Hierarchy in the guild:

1. Chapter - the most important person in the association, who has many rights.
2. Champion - the second most important rank, which has almost the same rights as the head.
3. Officer - the lowest level in the guild management.
4. Veteran - has no rights other than his honorary title.
5. Participant - an ordinary player who has the rights of an ordinary guild player.

The selection of locations in the game is also familiar and does not raise any special questions - the mountain has replaced the chronoportal, but the essence is the same - we knock out bottles of experience and gold coins, tests - three types of battles with certain conditions, one is available only to dragons, in the other monsters are immune to any physical attacks...

The only thing that is implemented unusually is the arena. The thing is. that the arena here is built according to a rank system. We start at the lowest, copper, in this rank we need to break into the top 5, knocking out one of the top players, and if no one defeats us in 6 hours, then we move to a new rank, where the opponents are already stronger. You can take a place in the top ten, then you will not evolve in rank, but will receive bonuses. But this is provided that the top five do not finish higher, and then you will still get into the top five from tenth place.

In a word, entertaining, but a little stupid. The only advantage that warms the soul is that you are, say, in 7th place, and not in one hundred thousand and thirty-first, as you really should be.

Actually, at first I really liked the game. Its style is somewhat reminiscent of the board game Munchkin, which I like to play with friends. There are funny things - like one of the broniks is a mustache on a stick with the comment “one move and you’re a hipster,” or all sorts of funny panties, ponies, orc paws...

But it’s fun only when you first meet it; when you use it again, it no longer evokes vivid emotions. so then the game turns into a calm, monotonous nerdiness - knock out this and that, upgrade the level, raise the stats, open the chest... Moreover, the game is quite tough in this regard - the battles are slow, everything is not knocked out too easily, company battles on raid cards are skipped or for a donation... There is little energy.

By the way, when we first met, I thought of donating 200 rubles for the sake of this trick - 20 raid scrolls every day, but then I figured that you still need to go in and click through, besides, again, other locations do not have auto-playthroughs and also take time , so I decided - well, screw it, and now I’ll completely delete the game from my phone, because after a week I’m already tired of the game and I’m no longer attracted to it at all...
