Nautical school for girls. Benefits of getting a military education

In this short article, we will discuss in detail the best military schools in the Russian Federation, which annually produce self-confident military men who are ready to serve the Motherland.

military profession

It has long been known that in Russia choosing a military profession is a very prestigious and authoritative decision. The situation in the world is turbulent, and this increases the potential need for military force. No matter how unpleasant it may sound, Russian military schools do not lose their popularity and every year attract more and more applicants. To receive such an education means one hundred percent to get a job, which cannot be said about students in other specialties.

That's just a completely logical question arises: "Which school to go to?" For the humanitarian and technical faculties, advertising campaigns are carried out by students / teachers of universities all the time. If necessary, representatives answer questions from schoolchildren, and everything is like a mini-open day. No one advertises military schools in Russia, so certain questions arise when choosing.

Advantages of military education

Despite the fact that choosing the profession of an officer is a very difficult decision, which should not be influenced by any extraneous factors (advice from relatives, for example), there are still a huge number of advantages in choosing this path. Here are just a few of them:

  • financial stability, both during study (a decent scholarship from 15,000 rubles), and during work and even retirement;
  • stable and nutritious food, because the country does not need thin defenders with sunken cheeks;
  • a clearly established daily routine that does not allow any of the students to beat the thumbs and this interfere with others to study;
  • budget education. The only thing that can let you down is negligent teachers who will demand money for a pass / mark in the exam;
  • the opportunity to live an independent life after the 11th grade. Very often, military schools are closed, and students are released only on leave, which reduces potential parental care.

Everything seems so simple and attractive, especially if you remember that a man is known by deed, not by word. Service in law enforcement agencies allows you not only to provide for yourself and your family, but also to experience in your own skin many charms of your gender, which is why many men fearlessly declare that they want to become military officers, sailors and even policemen. But not everything is so simple!

Cons of military education

Why do Russian military schools give their students such liberties? What is behind all this? Of course, the life of a military man is dangerous and difficult, and not only in mortal danger. Here are a few things that can repel an applicant from their desire:

  • a strong load, moreover, not only physical, but also psychological. That is why, even before entering the school, special tests are carried out that help at the initial level to weed out psychologically unstable, weak personalities;
  • constant danger to life, associated not only with staying, for example, in hot spots. A serviceman can die even when performing such an everyday task as a shootout with hooligans (if, for example, after training, a graduate decides to go to the police). Yuri Gagarin, for example, generally died during a test task;
  • going to distant places (for seafarers, for example, this is a common thing) means being constantly away from your family. All this can be very difficult, especially for those who are too much attached to the house;
  • when an officer receives a high rank, the responsibility for the subordinates of his platoon/company/military unit falls on his shoulders, and this requires great dedication. But it is the commanders who are punished when someone who was under their supervision has committed some kind of offense;
  • lack of flexible schedule and even days off.

If you have taken into account all the pros and cons, and also carefully weighed your decision, assuming for yourself that military service in the future is really a promising leap in professional development, then it's time to decide: where to go and who exactly to become.

The most popular specialties

In general, the disclosure of specific military-technical specialties is prohibited by the law on state secrets, at least in secondary schools. Therefore, it is peculiar to speak not about the specialties themselves, but about the areas of training.

So, at the undergraduate level, the most popular areas are the Airborne Forces, the Air Force, the MTR and intelligence. The quality rating of universities is also calculated according to the training of future officers of these particular troops.

Learning Model

First of all, it should be noted that despite the fact that Russian military schools are still considered educational institutions, control over them is carried out not by the Ministry of Education, but by the Ministry of Defense. In addition, of course, training in military disciplines prevails, but the curriculum of any school or academy remains a state secret.

How is military education different from ordinary education?

One can only say that their program has reduced the number of hours in the humanities: such as philosophy, the Russian language, and psychology. This was done for the sake of hours of special training: instead of studying the rules of their native language and the theories of philosophers about the structure of the world, students are engaged in assembling and disassembling weapons, shooting, strategy, and so on. How much to cut the hours of less necessary disciplines is established by the regulations of the educational institution itself.

The quality of military education in Russia far exceeds humanitarian and technical education. The teaching staff is made up of experienced people who have been in hostilities and have undergone not only theoretical, but also practical training.

Military education after and before grade 9

Military schools after grade 9 are divided into two types. The first type is the cadet corps (school). The second type is the Suvorov Military School.

When submitting documents, the applicant must successfully pass several entrance tests. This includes checking for physical, psychological and mental readiness. As a rule, the Suvorov Military School is distinguished by the fact that it does not accept girls into its ranks and prepares boys for admission to higher educational institutions of the same direction.

Nakhimov (at the moment there is only one Nakhimov school in Russia - in St. Petersburg) aims its students to continue their military career in the open sea.

Where are these military schools?

There are military schools after grade 9 in many cities of Russia: in Kazan, Tver, Tolyatti, Ulyanovsk, Yekaterinburg and, of course, in Moscow, as well as St. Petersburg. Some of them are aimed, not even so much at the military specialties themselves, such as pilot, radio operator, communications officer, and so on, but there are even military music schools, from which later, as a result, military bands are formed. Students of such schools often take part in city holidays and perform at parades.

After graduating from such a military educational institution, it is considered appropriate to apply to a higher educational institution and continue training in a specialty there.

Military schools for girls

In addition, there are specialized educational institutions for girls, classified according to the age of the accepted students. Within the walls of boarding schools, girls do not learn what they taught a long time ago at the “Institute of Noble Maidens”. Do not confuse a women's military boarding school with a similar educational institution.

In girls, as in young people, a feeling of love for the motherland, patriotism is brought up. In large cities, it is customary for students of such institutions to participate in city patriotic holidays. This is especially noticeable on Police Day, Defender of the Fatherland Day and, of course, on Victory Day.

The mentality of girls studying in boarding schools is also not forgotten: in order not to lose their personal spiritual qualities, creativity and subtlety of nature, the students of some boarding schools regularly sing, dance, and, of course, never stop reading. Very often in such establishments they observe a strict dress code of a white shirt and a black skirt, and sometimes a plaid jacket.

Some believe that such boarding schools "stamp wives", but this is not so, if only because the students of military boarding schools study drill and prepare themselves for military service.

In addition to the usual professions, such as a nurse and a radio operator, many girls expect the profession of a military officer. Fortunately (or unfortunately), in the modern world there is no longer a division into who a woman can and cannot be. This is so: in addition to working with equipment, a woman has the opportunity to stand at the head of the detachment and command it.

As surprising as it may be, there is no fresh ranking of military schools. But a lot is said about which institution of higher education you can apply to after completing 11 classes.

Military education after grade 11

Military schools after the 11th grade are already divided directly into troops. So, there are: ground, air force, missile, naval, military space, logistics and communications troops.

In addition to general subjects, such as mathematics and the Russian language, when entering a higher military school, other subjects are also taken into account, which are determined depending on the chosen specialty. And now more about it!

For example, the Novosibirsk Military School conducts recruitment in the specialty "personnel management", for admission to which it is necessary to pass social studies. Military meteorologists have to study geography. Troops associated with the constant handling of equipment require their applicants to pass an exam in physics.

Most military institutions are tied to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, so later there are no problems with finding work and even housing. Another question is that a military man who graduated from a higher military school can be transferred to another city, it will be very difficult to leave from there.

Ranking of military universities in Russia

According to sociologists, the highest quality education is provided by military schools after the 11th grade in St. Petersburg and Moscow. Real professionals work in these cities, ready to teach everything necessary for the service.

Military schools of St. Petersburg were in second place. According to statistics for 2015, the Peter the Great Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces, located in Moscow, was recognized as the best (for admission there, you must pass physics). In second place is the St. Petersburg Naval Academy (physics and, in some places, chemistry). On the third - the higher military aviation school, the Air Force Academy named after Yuri Gagarin, also located in Moscow. Only professionals teach here!

Of the higher military educational institutions of Russia, the Higher Military Aviation Pilot School in the city of Tyumen is also noted. The FSB Academy is chosen by those young people who wish to become federal agents of Russia in the future. The Voronezh Military School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ryazan Air Force School named after Margelov are also very popular.

The opinion of students, teachers, parents

Usually, people unfamiliar with the modern system of military education are of the opinion that the military, as they say, "are not ready for life." The only thing they, in this opinion, are capable of is shooting at innocent people, and since the time is now non-military, they are generally not capable of anything. But this is not entirely true, because, after graduating, for example, from a higher military engineering school, a person becomes more experienced and self-confident.

Every year, a huge competition is going to the higher military schools, 5-10 people per place. Most applicants do not even pass the psychological selection and quickly give up this business. Those who entered, try to study well; fortunately, the regime practically does not allow you to miss classes, be lazy and frankly “score” on study.

Students are the best time in life, and for students of the war years this statement is just as true as for students of any other educational institution!

Since 2013, girls with complete secondary education have had the opportunity to study at higher military schools.

The chance of entering them at the end of 11 classes is for female candidates who, along with good results in the Unified State Exam, have excellent physical training.

This is an important difference between such educational institutions and civilian universities, which makes studying much more difficult. Therefore, the choice of girls in favor of military education should be conscious, it is difficult to study here if there is no appropriate physical preparation. However, the number of girls who want to have a military specialty is constantly increasing.

After graduating from a comprehensive school for girls, the prospect of studying in any military institution opens up, if admission is open for them there. According to the degree of popularity among female applicants in the rating list, they are arranged in the following order:

Military Academy of Communications. Marshal of the Soviet Union S.M. Budyonny The main training base is located in St. Petersburg. Training is also taking place in the branch (Krasnodar). It is only full-time, on a budgetary basis, and lasts 5 years. Specialists in the field of telecommunications and automation are being trained.
Military Space Academy. A.F. Mozhaisky (St. Petersburg) There is a branch in the city of Yaroslavl. The academy has more than 40 specialties. Known for the special selection of applicants for their physical fitness (point scale).
St. Petersburg Military Medical Academy. CM. Kirov It is popular with girls who decide to become military doctors. Training is conducted in the following specialties: "medical, medical and preventive care" (6 years), "stomatology", "pharmacy" (5 years).
Airborne Command School. Army General V.F. Margelov This Ryazan school began to accept girls in 2014 after a five-year break. For them, there are a number of specialties in the field of communications in these troops.
Volsky Military Institute of Material Support Graduates will work to provide the military with everything necessary for service (food, things, fuel).
Military Academy of the Rocket Forces. Peter the Great The institution is known for strict requirements for physical training, the state of health of applicants.

In addition to these military institutions, there are others where girls can study, receiving military specialties, for example, a military cartographer, a special-purpose meteorologist and others.

You can get acquainted with the full list of such schools in the military registration and enlistment offices at the place of residence. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also has such data. You can find such a list in the "Education" section of its official website.

The complexity of military training does not stop the purposeful girls who have decided on their future profession. After all, you can find many positive aspects in it, which are as follows:

  • military specialties are again becoming prestigious;
  • the education received here is free, cadets are paid a scholarship;
  • future stability (employment after graduation, good financial security, housing,).

In addition to these obvious advantages, girls who receive a military education become more independent, more responsible in their duties, and better manage their time.

A military school for many girls becomes a severe test, but the experience gained in them develops a number of positive qualities, including willpower and organization.

There are also disadvantages in military training. These include a rather complicated system for selecting candidates, which involves accepting girls only with good health and physical data. Therefore, not every one of them who has a dream of military service can fulfill it if they do not possess these qualities.

Features of admission

Documents for admission are submitted from July 1 to July 30. This is a certificate of complete general education or secondary vocational education, the results of the Unified State Examination, a civil passport (training only for citizens of the Russian Federation).

At this time, the professional selection of candidates begins, carried out by the commission, which:

  • determines (medical examination);
  • establishes professional suitability for military service (psycho-emotional state test).

Then, entrance examinations are conducted, which include an assessment of the general educational level based on the results of the Unified State Examination. Each military educational institution has a list of exams for admission, but the presentation of the results of exams in mathematics and the Russian language is mandatory for all applicants.

Other disciplines are added depending on the chosen specialty. Then the applicants are held (usually by performing a certain number of inclinations, running at different distances).

It is important to have high results in the exam. But no less significant is the understanding that without excellent physical fitness it is difficult to compete. After passing the professional selection and entrance examinations, the girls are entered into the competitive lists.

Enrollment is on a competitive basis. There are quite a lot of applicants for places in schools, therefore the most prepared and persistent, aimed at obtaining a military education, often enter.

Bearing the title of a Russian officer has been prestigious since the days of Tsarist Russia - the special status of a military man has always enjoyed respect and reverence in our society. For a country that emerged victorious in many wars, an officer is a symbol of courage, bravery and heroism. This is not just a profession - it is the status of a defender of the Motherland, ready to give his life for it, without exaggeration. Being an officer means serving properly regardless of any circumstances: if you decide to embark on this path, then be prepared for the fact that the word “order” will become a direct guide to action for you, you can be called to work at any time of the day, and Most likely, you will spend most of your life on combat duty. To withstand this, you need to truly love your homeland and service. At the same time, there are also quite a few pluses in the life of an officer: good wages, benefits from the state and early retirement, which makes it possible to build a career in civilian life. If you are ready to devote yourself to serving the Motherland, then go to the military registration and enlistment office - it is from this point that we begin our path to entering military universities.

Requirements for candidates

Requirements for candidates for admission are traditionally very strict, therefore, before you get into the competitive selection, you must be of the right age. You won't fit if

  1. You have not served in the military and are under 16 years of age.
  2. You have not served in the military and are over 22 years old.
  3. You have already completed military service and you are over 24 years old.
  4. You serve in the army under a contract and you are over 27 years old.

Otherwise, you enter the competition. However, age restrictions are not the only ones. There are several other factors on which your candidacy will not be considered:

  1. You already have a higher education.
  2. You have been convicted before.
  3. You are under investigation or a criminal case has been opened against you.

In other cases, you are a full-fledged candidate for admission to a military university. By the way, if we talk about a criminal record and the investigation, then these points apply exclusively to you - this rule does not apply to your relatives.

Applying

So, the procedure for submitting documents to a military university begins at the military registration and enlistment office. You need to apply well before the end of the school year: in 2017, the deadline for submitting an application to the military registration and enlistment office was until April 20 for school students and until April 1 for active military personnel. You must have with you:

  • passport
  • certificate of current academic performance (or certificate)

  • autobiography.

By law, you have the right to apply to five universities: the choice among them is huge, but it all depends on which troops you want to serve in the future. Traditionally, Russian military higher education has the following areas: land, sea, missile, airborne, railway, military-technical, military-musical, legal and Cossack

Medical Board

The next step is the medical examination. The main and basic rule of anyone who wants to enter a military educational institution is to start preparing for admission at least two years in advance. During this period, you should seriously take care of your own health: visit a neurologist, therapist and cardiologist, and if any pathologies and diseases are found, start your own treatment. The requirements for applicants for military universities are usually much stricter than for those called up for military service, so the category of fitness with which the selection committee will consider your candidacy must be at least “B”, and for some universities (for example, flight schools) , and not lower than "A".

If, according to the results of the medical examination, you are fit for service, then the military commissariat will send your documents to the university of your choice. The answer will come after June 20- you will be invited to pass entrance examinations.

Unified State Exam (USE)

The first thing they pay attention to when they are admitted to a military university is mental stability. The second is the physical fitness of the applicant. And only in the last place they look at the results of the exam.

Most military universities accept USE results in Russian language and mathematics (profile level). If you are applying for military-technical specialties, then you will need the results of the Unified State Examination in Physics. The Unified State Examination in Social Studies and the Unified State Examination in History will be required when applying for such specialties as (“Military Law”), “Logistics”. USE in geography when applying for "Military cartography" and "Military meteorology", USE in chemistry and biology for, and other medical specialties.

Psychological tests

For the admission committees of military universities, the successful passage of psychological testing is the most important and decisive criterion in the selection of applicants. You can pass the exam with average results and not have a deep knowledge of science - for a soldier, first of all, you need to have a strong psyche and the ability to concentrate in stressful situations. You can’t learn this: these qualities are innate. The main rule of psychological testing when entering a military university is to answer as honestly as possible. It will not be difficult for specialists to detect your lies, and the test results may not be credited to you.

Physical training

You need to start preparing for passing the standards as early as possible, since your main task is to develop strength and endurance in yourself. You must truly love exercise, and jogging must become an integral part of your life. During your service in the army, you will have to take physical training more than once, therefore, the sooner you start to put stress on your body, the stronger and more resilient you will be.

For applicants, physical training passes on the same day. There is only one attempt to pass - you will not be given other chances and opportunities to increase your grade.

The delivery program is as follows: pull-ups on the crossbar (for boys), torso forward bends (for girls), running 100 meters, running 3 km, in some cases swimming (100 m freestyle and 100 m breaststroke). The results are converted into points, summed up, and an overall score is given (according to a 100-point system). After that, the commission makes a general decision on admission.

Military universities for girls allow you to get an education and a ticket for a specialty.

They are in demand by those who want to help the state in a difficult situation, and also want to find a job with a good social package and certain benefits.

Military schools have always stood apart from other educational institutions. It is not easy to get into such an educational institution. Admission to such a school is associated with a number of conditions and requirements that are mandatory for the applicant - exams, physical and psychological tests, and standards.

Types of military schools of the Russian Federation

At present, there are two types of professional military education in Russia - basic and higher. The first category includes:

  • cadet school;
  • Suvorov School;
  • nakhimov school.

Cadet, Suvorov and Nakhimov schools accept male citizens under the age of 18.

The term of study at the school is from 2 to 4 years.

The second type of professional military educational institutions includes:

  • higher command school;
  • academy;
  • institutions.

The term of study in a higher military school is from 2 to 3 years.

Each of these types of educational institutions has its own profile specifics and professional orientation:

  • marine;
  • ground troops;
  • rocket troops;
  • airborne troops;
  • railway troops;
  • Cossack;
  • military-technical;
  • military musical;
  • military justice.

The main feature of such educational institutions is the combination of theory and practice in the learning process. Such a universal system of mastering the military craft allows you to perfectly master the art of war and educate the elite command staff of the country's armed forces.

Requirements for candidates

Before you enter, you must familiarize yourself with the selection rules existing in the educational institution. And they are diametrically different from the requirements of other educational institutions for their applicants. Thus, the recruitment of applicants for admission to a military school after the 11th grade is carried out by the draft commissions of local military registration and enlistment offices among civilians without military service experience. At the same time, cadet candidates are subject to preliminary attribution of their suitability for training in a military school.

Among the main requirements:

  • Russian citizenship,
  • age and level of education,
  • health status,
  • level of physical fitness,
  • professional suitability based on the results of psychological and physiological testing.

Admission to a military school after the 9th grade is made only with the written consent of the parents when submitting a special package of documents to the admission committee of the educational institution. In addition, a small applicant is required to pass entrance exams and pass physical tests in the form of summer camps.

Upon successful completion of all stages of selection, a group of applicants, led by an educator officer, is placed on the territory of a military school to continue the introductory campaign. Here, applicants live in barracks mode. In case of violation of the internal regulations and discipline, the applicant may be disqualified.

Documents for admission

What else is needed for admission, in addition to confidence and a strong desire to become an officer? First of all, this is a package of special documents:

  1. An application addressed to the director of the educational institution indicating in it the full name, date of birth of the applicant, address at the place of residence, the name of the commissariat and its postal code, information about the citizenship and level of education of the applicant, details of identity, personal contacts and the name of the specialty for which the applicant is applying.
  2. Autobiography and characteristics from the place of study or work.
  3. A certificate of education or a statement of the student's current academic performance.
  4. A photocopy of the birth certificate, diploma, passport and documents confirming the special rights of candidates when enrolling in the school.
  5. Three photographs 4.5x6.

All this host of documents is formed in the personal file of the applicant.

Exams

The next stage of admission is examinations for admission to a military school and a test of knowledge of the general education program.

To enter a military school after grade 9, you must pass entrance exams in Russian language and mathematics.

For applicants who have completed grade 11, it is necessary to pass the exam in the following subjects:

  1. Mathematics.
  2. Russian language.
  3. Physics.

What exams do you have to take to join the military?additionally, it is necessary to specify in each educational institution separately. Depending on the profile of the school, they will be different.

Regulations

The third and final step of the introductory campaign is the delivery of mandatory indicators of physical fitness. Two options are possible here:

  1. Passing an exam based on the results of excellent marks in physical education and certificates of victories in sports competitions.
  2. Performing examination exercises in physical education.

In the second case, the standards for admission to a military school are given strictly according to the physical standards of the Ministry of Health and only after an examination by a medical commission.

In the physics program training includes:

  • cross 1000 m;
  • 100 m and 3 km run;
  • swim 50−100 m;
  • pull-ups on the crossbar (from 11 to 17 times).

Only one attempt is allowed for the execution of each task without the right to retake. Exceptions can only be made in unforeseen cases - a breakdown from the crossbar, a fall, and so on.

Privileges

With a fairly high competition, many applicants are interested in the question - how to enter the military out of competition? In this case, the legislation of the Russian Federation provides for a whole system of benefits and privileges:

  • children without guardianship and orphans;
  • children who graduated from a secondary educational institution with honors or a medal;
  • graduates of preparatory courses at military schools and universities based on the results of final exams;
  • persons who have completed the first year of a civilian university in the profile specialty of a military school;
  • graduates of other military schools and boarding schools with basic flight training;
  • persons under the age of 20, in which one of the parents is a disabled person of group I;
  • combatants.

Thus, the military school is a good preparatory school for the younger generation to study the army. However, this is just a base that provides primary knowledge and skills for entering universities.
