From 1979 to 1987, the brigade was repeatedly awarded the Challenge Red Banner of the Military Council of the OdVO, was entered in the Book of Honor of the Military Council of the OdVO and was awarded with diplomas. In 1987, the special purpose group of the brigade was recognized as the best in the USSR Armed Forces in sniper shooting. At the competition between the special forces of the USSR Armed Forces on the basis of 5 Special Forces in 1990, a group of 10 Special Forces under the command of Sergei Vdovin took 1st place.

Ukraine:

On October 11, 1991, the brigade became part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. By the directive of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine in June 1998, 10 Special Forces Regiment was reorganized into 1 separate special purpose regiment (since 09/01/2000, the 3rd separate Special Forces regiment, military unit A-0680).

Russia:

It was re-formed on May 1, 2003 in the North Caucasus Military District near Krasnodar in the area of the village of Molkino on the funds of the 2nd and 16th Specialized Special Forces.

Military unit 51532 was formed on the basis of Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 10, 2002 No. 1334 p. Directives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation D - 063 of November 30, 2002

The formation of the connection began in January 2003. The beginning of the formation is considered to be the arrival in the settlement. Molkino military unit 46266 from the military unit 11659 North Caucasus Military District.

The connection management was staffed from among the officers of the Far Eastern Military District and the North Caucasus Military District. The formation of the military unit 41726 came from the composition of the obrSpN LenVO and obrSpN MVO; military unit 41742 came from the composition of the obrSpN PUrVO; military unit 44183 came from the SibVO ObrSpN; military unit 55005 came from the composition of the military personnel who arrived from the units of the Far Eastern Military District and the North Caucasus Military District; a separate training battalion was formed from personnel who arrived for recruitment from the military commissariats of the North Caucasus Military District.

Military unit 51532 was formed on May 1, 2003 with the task of covering the state border in the south of the Russian Federation, searching for and destroying illegal armed formations.

The overwhelming majority of the personnel of the unit selflessly fulfill their military duty, risking their lives, ensuring the maintenance of constitutional order on the southern borders of our Fatherland.

Parts of the formation are equipped with modern weapons and equipment to perform the tasks assigned to them.

Constant and intensive combat training, a good training and material base at the point of permanent deployment make it possible to prepare a worthy replacement for servicemen who are retiring to the reserve.

According to the results of combat and reconnaissance activities, in terms of the quality of the fulfillment of the assigned tasks and the effectiveness of the management of intelligence agencies in 2004 among the units and subunits of the Special Forces performing combat missions on the territory of the Chechen Republic, they were evaluated by the Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff and the command of the Joint Group of Troops (Forces) in the North Caucasus for the better.

10th separate brigade of special purpose GRU (military unit 51532)

The place of deployment of the 10th separate brigade of the GRU special forces, or military unit 51532, is the Molkino farm in the Krasnodar Territory. The brigade includes several special forces units (85th, 95th, 104th and 551st separate), a training battalion, a medical support company and management units.

The 10th separate brigade was formed in October 1962 and was stationed in the village. Pervomaiskoye near Stary Krym. In 1967, two units from its composition received the name of the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. Today's military unit 51532 was established in 2003. It was then that the personnel and officers of military units 46266 and 11659 were redeployed to Molkino. The main task of the 10th separate brigade of the GRU special forces is to protect the southern borders of the Russian Federation. In 2004, the personnel and officers of military unit 51532 performed combat missions on the territory of Chechnya, and in 2011 the unit was awarded the Order of Zhukov.

Brigade sleeve patch

Since the GRU special forces are a militarized military structure that performs reconnaissance and defensive operations, training in such a unit as military unit 51532 is appropriate.

Employees spend several hours a day on the obstacle course, making marches in full gear, learning to jump with a parachute and mastering the skills of various methods of combat (improvised means, hand-to-hand combat, combat without the use of force). The training of military personnel is considered enhanced, because. it also provides for a battle with stronger opponents. Combat and physical training skills are tested by special forces once every 6 months.
Each soldier performs from 4 to 6 jumps during his service. For contract servicemen, preferential length of service is accrued and annual leave is extended. For conscript soldiers - additional leave out of turn.

Applicants are accepted for contract service in military unit 51532 (that is, in the GRU special forces):

  • From 18 to 35 years old;
  • With education not lower than completed secondary (11 classes);
  • Having a medical certificate of the form "A-1";
  • Passed a psychological test;
  • Previously served in the military formations of the airborne troops;
  • Having the rights of categories "C", "D" and "E".

Monetary allowance for both contract and fixed-term employees is paid to the Sberbank of Russia card, the terminal of which is located in the Lesnaya Skazka store (garrison chip). Other Sberbank ATMs in the vicinity of the Molkino farm:

  • stanitsa Imeretinskaya (shop on Lenina street);
  • sanatorium "Foothills of the Caucasus" (on Lenin street in the town of Goryachiy Klyuch);
  • near the SBV market (Goryachiy Klyuch, on Lenina street);
  • in the building of the Real-Prestige agency (on Psekupskaya street);
  • stanitsa Saratovskaya (along Lenina street).

What did the 10th brigade do in Georgia?
Since the units of the brigade were on the territory of Georgia for a long time (several years), they apparently managed to do a lot.Of course, you can’t tell about everything, but with a careful acquaintance with the materials milestones are still drawn.

1. "Third Force".
In 2008-09 the author of these lines spent a lot of time in the Tbilisi region of Krtsanisi, in a small mansion, which then housed the headquarters of OSCE observer officers in the zone of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict. Among the various topics that we had time to discuss before the mission was closed under unprecedented pressure from Russia, the main one, of course, was the situation in the zone prior to August 7th. For a long time, the mission officers did not go into a serious conversation too much. As they later admitted, they did not want to be frank with the Russian.

But at some point, they still started talking. The main observation they made in July 2008, which they eventually shared with me, was that a "third force" had emerged in the region.
- What is a "third force"? I wondered.
“Here’s the thing,” they explained to me. - Skirmishes between the parties to the conflict - South Ossetians and Georgians - were, if not regular, but quite familiar. After each such shelling, OSCE officers went to the scene, examined it, identified the perpetrators, drew up a protocol, sent copies of it to the parties to the conflict, to the JCC, Kulakhmetov, to their headquarters in Vienna. Everything was clear enough - yesterday the Ossetians fired, today - the Georgians. Or vice versa. After the shelling, the identification of the perpetrators and the corresponding representations, the situation stabilized for some time. Until the next outbreak.

However, in the summer of 2008 the situation changed radically. First, the shelling has become much bolder and more professional. Secondly, professionally prepared car bombings began to take place on the roads. Thirdly, it became unclear who carried out the explosions and shelling. One day Georgians will be fired on, Georgians will immediately protest: “Again, these Ossetians have committed a violation!” OSCE officers go to the place, examine the evidence and circumstances, try to identify the culprits and are forced to come to the conclusion that the Ossetians could not fire at the Georgians at such and such a time in such and such a place.

On another day, the South Ossetians will be shelled, they have no limit to their indignation: “Again, these Georgians do not give life!” OSCE observers go to the place, examine it, try to determine the culprit and are forced to come to the conclusion that the Georgians could not have fired at the Ossetians at that time and in this place. After this kind of shelling was repeated several times, the OSCE observer mission came to the conclusion that some new - "third" - force appeared in the region, not Georgians and not Ossetians.

And who? - I asked almost automatically, at the same time catching myself thinking that I didn’t expect at all that I would be forced to listen now from the lips of foreign military men to some regular tales about black forces, evil spirits, elusive Joes and other nonsense that is usually told on dark evenings by seasoned citizens in some drunkenness.

The OSCE staff were silent for a long time, obviously considering whether I should speak or not. Then, finally, they decided. And, gloomily looking at me point-blank, they said:
- Russians.
- Russians? - I was surprised to only repeat the same word with an interrogative intonation. - What Russians?
The OSCE staff were silent for a while. And then even more gloomily they said:
- Saboteurs. Professional saboteurs.
- Are you sure? was all I could ask.
They looked at me longingly, filled with undisguised pity for my civil naivety, and just shook their heads.

2. "C soldiers and officers of the GRU ObrSpN are required to be able to conduct inversion and subversion”.
Among the educational courses for the special forces of the 10th brigade, a special place is occupied by preparation for sabotage and subversive acts:
The mandatory training program for military personnel of the 10th Special Forces Brigade includes sapper business. On the territory of military unit 51532 in Molkino, a training ground has been equipped where special forces of the 10th ObrSpN hone their mining skills, of course, having previously mastered the theory in the classroom ... There are many myths and legends about the training of military intelligence special forces soldiers - of course, a lot of fiction, but the fact remains: in accordance with the charter, the soldiers and officers of the ObrSpN GRU are required to be able to conduct sabotage and subversive activities (for example, derail trains alone or mine large industrial facilities.)

In some new light, I remembered the story of the mother of R. Abdullin, who posthumously became the Hero of Russia:
« I called him on August 6 in the evening, and the tank was roaring on the phone. "Where did you go?" - I ask. "Mom, call me back later, okay?" And the phone turned off.
Gulfruz Sergeevna sat and looked at the wall past me and Anna Viktorovna.

- And before that I called on the second of August. He asks, "What day is it today?" I say: "The second of August." - "No, what day is it today?" “Saturday,” I say. “Today is Airborne Forces Day, we have a holiday, they gave me an award.” And what reward, he did not say ».
http://www.kp.ru/daily/24145/362608/

What a rewardthe special forces paratrooper of the Airborne Forces R. Abdullin was awarded by his superiors August 2, 2008 , unknown. But the date of his award suggests what exactly he could receive his award for. The day before, on the morning of August 1, a car with Georgian policemen was blown up on the Eredvi-Kurta road, six were injured, five of them seriously:

6 employees of the special forces were wounded today on the bypass road connecting the Small and Big Liakhvi gorges in the Tskhinvali conflict zone as a result of an explosion. At about 09:40 in the morning, a pickup car, in which representatives of the Georgian special services were located, was blown up by a mine. 5 of them were badly wounded...
According to Emzar Beruashvili, chairman of the Maloye Liakhvi village assembly, the explosion took place approximately in the place where a terrorist attack on the head of the provisional administration of South Ossetia, Dmitry Sanakoev, was carried out a month ago. Presumably, a remote-controlled explosive device was used, since the mines were placed at a distance of 10-15 meters from each other. The first explosion was soon followed by a second, control explosion.
The area where the incident took place borders on Ossetian-controlled separatist slopes, where illegal armed groups are constantly hiding.
http://www.apsny.ge/news/1217608406.php

The explosion of a Georgian police car in the early morning of August 1 launched a long-established operation. Believing that the terrorist act was committed by Ossetians, the Georgians in the evening of the same day carried out a retaliatory operation following the Israeli model (as in previous years), firing at the positions of the separatists, during which 6 employees of the South Ossetian security forces were killed. But instead of the usual calm in such cases, the escalation of violence only intensified. The separatists responded with massive fire, so that on the night of August 1-2, real battles unfolded in the conflict zone, the number of those killed on both sides went to dozens. Thus, by the morning of August 2, it became quite clear that the provocative terrorist attack on the road between Eredvi and Kurta not only led to the expected consequences, but also turned out to be extremely successful. About 50 journalists from Moscow were brought to Tskhinvali on August 1, ready to cover the pre-declared war. Now, on August 2, on the day of the Airborne Forces, the special forces paratrooper R. Abdullin could safely present the award he deserved.

3. "The main advantages of the mortar as a special forces weapon."
Does the reader remember what happened in the early morning of August 8 in the Upper Town, what the doctors attached to the peacekeepers told about? They reported in particular, that at first there was a mortar shelling of the Upper Town.

DZ: There was mortar shelling along the fence, and then it started with small arms. They started firing at the same time...
AK: At first, they fired at us from small arms, but it was more frightening, most likely. It started somewhere around 5:50...
Thus, at about 5.50 am, “along the fence” surrounding the location of the peacekeeping battalion in the Upper Town, mortar shelling began, and then shelling from small arms. It has already been noted above that during the shelling of Tskhinvali on the night of August 7-8, the Georgian units did not use mortars, and on August 8 there were no Georgian infantry in the Upper Town area ...
If on August 8 there were no Georgian infantry in the Upper Town area, if the Georgian units did not open mortar fire on Tskhinvali on the morning of August 8, then who exactly started firing at 5.50 in the morning on August 8:
- from mortars and small arms,
- and at first they "scared, most likely",
- “along the fence” of the Upper Town and along the location of the peacekeeping battalion in the Upper Town?
http://aillarionov.livejournal.com/563585.html

As you know, mortars are in service with special forces. Moreover, according to experts, mortars have serious advantages for special forces.

The same applies to firearms - on the balance sheet of 10 separate special forces brigade there are the latest models of foreign automatic weapons, sniper rifles, mortars, etc. .
http://voenpro.ru/voentorg/brelok-10obrspn

In the early 2000s, the 82-mm mortar 2 B14 (2 B14-1) "Tray" was adopted by individual detachments and special forces brigades. The main advantages of the 82-mm mortar as a special forces weapon are the high accuracy of fire and the power of ammunition, the possibility of covert fire, high rate of fire (10-25 rounds / min.) And the mobility of this artillery weapon system.
For firing from all domestic 82-mm mortars, fragmentation six-pronged (old models) and ten-pronged mines, as well as smoke and lighting mines, are used. To increase the firing range, additional powder charges are hung on the mine (charge No. 1, 2, 3 and "long-range"). Mortar ammunition is carried by crew in special trays of 4 mines or in pack bags.

Silent mortar complex 2 B25
Currently, domestic designers are developing an 82-mm silent mortar system BSHMK 2 B25 and an 82-mm mortar with an increased firing range of up to 6000 m.
Designed for special forces in order to ensure stealth and surprise in combat use due to noiselessness, flamelessness and smokelessness when defeating enemy manpower in personal armor protection. The mass of the mortar is not more than 13 kg, the calculation is 2 people. The effectiveness of the fragmentation action of a mine is at the level of a standard 82-mm mine.
http://army-news.ru/2011/02/arsenal-specnaza/

The main advantages of the 82-mm mortar as a special forces weapon are not only its high firing accuracy, but also the possibility of covert firing, as well as the high mobility of this artillery weapon system.
http://www.fastmarksman.ru/1_pyt/2_specnaz_8.ph p

Of course, the fact of the presence of a particular weapon is not in itself a confirmation of its use. But then the testimonies of other Russian military men who happened to be in the same places a few days later come to the rescue.

Senior Lieutenant Artur Kurbanov recalls:
On August 11, our mortar battery took up a position south of Tskhinvali. Having equipped the position, I went to reconnaissance with a group of officers. It was decided to inspect the nearby hills, to outline landmarks. Not far from the dirt road, we found the destroyed position of our mortar battery. It was evident that the mortar-throwers - peacekeepers were fired upon, the firing points of our "samovars" were suppressed by superior fire. The abomination of desolation reigned all around, but there were no corpses of our peacekeepers.
We found a completely complete compass - a device for correcting art fire PAB - 2. The device is completely intact and always necessary in the household. We took the compass for ourselves.
http://maxpark.com/user/1954118055/content/1809568

A. Kurbanov does not doubt for a second that the mortar battery belonged - in his opinion, it belonged to the Russian "peacekeepers". But in the language of military slang in South Ossetia, "peacekeepers" meant servicemen of only two units - the second battalion of the 135th infantry regiment and the 107th detachment of the 10th special forces brigade. At the same time, there is not a single evidence that Timerman's mortars left the territory of the Upper Town and even opened fire. In addition, it would obviously be difficult for Timerman to order them, and for them to obey the order to open fire. - according to their own positions in the Upper Town, even "along its fence."

However, for the special forces, among whom the deputy commander of the group did not know the commander of his neighbors from the 135th regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Timerman, it was apparently much easier to do this.

4. "The best in the Union in terms of sniper training."
In the museum of the brigade, the foreman of the company of the 107th special forces detachment, Hero of Russia Mikhail Oganesyan spoke about the events of 2008. “On the seventh evening, the Georgians began shelling our positions from the Grad launchers and tanks. We tried to contact the Georgian formations, but they launched equipment without explanation,” he said. "Is there a fight going on. Then he called again at 5 am, and Vladimir Putin called at 7 am. Then it became clear that this was a real attack, and the president received an order to respond."
http://kommersant.ru/doc/1693648

The “foreman of the company”, acting as a guide for the presidential journalistic pool, is, of course, still those spetsnaz-disinformation jokes. Just like the foremen's "title of Hero". Here, as they say, one of them is sure to misinform: either the foreman and the "Hero of Russia", or sites telling about the 10th brigade, according to which there is only one Hero in it - R. Abdullin.

But the most remarkable, of course, is the following Freudian confession of the "foreman":
«... and at 7 am Vladimir Putin called. Then it became clear that this was a real attack, and the president received an order to respond.”

"Company foreman" and "Hero of Russia" Oganesyan this time seemed to tell the truth. It was completely impossible to understand what exactly was the “real attack” on the Upper Town, when exactly it happened, and who exactly attacked whom, while being in Tskhinvali at that time, as everyone understands, was completely impossible. This could be done only by being thousands of kilometers away, at the Olympics in the city of Beijing. Along the way, the “foreman” “laid down” Vladimir Vladimirovich, revealing the main military secret of the Russian-Georgian war - from whom exactly did the order come from the snipers of the 107th detachment at 7 am on August 8 to “answer”, i.e. shoot at senior lieutenants of the peacekeeping battalion Shevelev and Bobrov.

In 1987, the 10th Special Forces Brigade was recognized as the best in the Union in terms of sniper training, and in 1990, the team of the 10th Special Forces Brigade won the All-Union GRU Special Forces competitions. Today's 10 ObrSpN in Molkino is also famous for its snipers. Of course, the selection of 10 ObrSpN sniper groups is quite serious - here everyone is an experienced hunter or sportsman-shooter. But the ability to shoot a sniper of the Special Forces troops is not enough - the training of recruits provides for training in the art of disguise at the highest level. In addition, a military intelligence special forces sniper needs extreme restraint - sometimes it is necessary to spend a day or more in a practically motionless state. Firstly, for an unprepared person, this is the strongest stress, psychological stress at the limit of possibilities, and secondly, it is corny hard physically. But the second problem is easier to solve - in the arsenal of snipers of the ObrSpN GRU there are many specialized exercises that help activate blood flow in the body. The snipers of the 10th GRU special forces brigade are armed with not only standard SVD, but also the best foreign models - SSG-04, Truvelo.50BMG, etc.

« Honorably fulfilled their duty» .
Despite the fact that by the morning of August 8, the commander of the "peacekeeping battalion" K. Timerman had repeatedly received from the commander of the "peacekeeping forces" General M. Kulakhmetov a completely unambiguous order "Shoot to kill!" The upper town had already been subjected to small arms and mortar fire from the "third force", but Timerman was still slow to open fire from his infantry fighting vehicles. Firstly, he perfectly understood that the opening of cannon fire by him meant a gross violation of his peacekeeping mandate. Secondly, in the face of vastly superior Georgian forces, this practically guaranteed suicide, if not to himself personally, then undoubtedly to many of his subordinates. Thirdly, Timerman still had no reason, or even a reason to open fire on the Georgians - despite the shelling of Zemo Nikozi from small arms from the Upper Town, the Georgians, who received orders from their command not to respond to the Russian peacekeeping contingent, followed it strictly and continued to remain silent, despite the intensifying provocations.

Timerman hesitated.

When, together with the commander of the reconnaissance platoon, Sergei Shevelev, he was returning from positions south of the Upper Town and was already approaching the command post set up by Timerman in the medical unit, a sniper bullet fired “under the cover of small arms fire from all sides” from above (from the roof of the barracks?), pierced Shevelev’s neck and exited in his back at the seventh vertebra. It was a classic black mark. Timerman did not need to explain its meaning. He had little choice - either a possible projectile from a Georgian tank, or a guaranteed bullet from a Russian sniper. Timerman chose the former.

It was then that the Thunder cannons, mounted on “peacekeeping” infantry fighting vehicles, advanced to open positions south of the Upper Town, began to work along Zemo-Nikozi. It was then that the Georgian tanks could not help but respond to cannon fire, for five minutes, as at a firing range, they burned infantry fighting vehicles that violated the Dagomys agreements along with their crews. It was then that the corpses of Russian peacekeepers, so demanded by Kulakhmetov and his superiors - military and political, were received. Now they could be presented to the Russian and world public, to shout to the whole planet about the treachery of the Georgian military and to justify the massive invasion of Russian troops into Georgia by the need to "protect the lives of Russian peacekeepers".

And three years later, Medvedev could have calmly arrived at the base of the 10th brigade in Molkino to award her a high state award for merits "in the development and conduct of major military operations", i.e. for "the ability to make the right adequate decisions in a very difficult situation, to selflessly carry out the tasks of the command in the shortest possible time."

The units of the army special forces of the GRU largely inherited the experience of the partisan detachments of the Second World War - the tasks of the ObrSpN included not only reconnaissance, but also the conduct of hostilities in particularly difficult conditions. Also, one of the main tasks of individual special-purpose brigades was to counter the nuclear threat - the fight against NATO mobile landing forces. Service in separate brigades of the GRU special forces meant and still means a lifelong attitude to the armed forces - in accordance with the system of functioning of the Special Forces troops, in the event of war, retired special forces were supposed to form the backbone of partisan detachments behind enemy lines. Such detachments would be a springboard for the landing of the GRU ObrSpN groups, which destroyed all communications, important strategic facilities and rocket launchers. A similar system still works today - under the flag of the 10th ObrSpN in Molkino, field training sessions are held annually for the military reserve "Partisans". For two weeks, potential leaders of partisan detachments live and undergo retraining on the territory of military unit 51532. Of course, the training program for reserve military personnel, in comparison with actual soldiers of the army special forces, is “lightweight”, to put it mildly, and with a simpler regime - thanks to the modern development of social networks, participants fees acquaint those who wish with living conditions in 10 ObrSpN. Here, for example, is a standard lunch in the 10th GRU special forces brigade:

And the photo below shows a festive version, in one of the many press tours to the 10th special forces brigade in the officer's canteen they laid such a table:

Since we are talking about nutrition, the Voenpro online military store reminds that among the goods there is a place for a line of unique mugs of the corresponding topic. Ceramic bottles are quite capacious - their volume is 300 ml. Each one bears the symbols of special forces units of the GRU General Staff, as well as traditional scenes from the life of special forces. In order to buy, for example, with the image of OBRSpN fighters on a mission, just follow the link and place an order. Do not forget that the day of the GRU special forces is celebrated in Russia on October 24, there is very little time left.

So, as part of the creation of an updated system of Soviet intelligence special forces, by October 4, 1962, 10 ObrSpN was formed, which became one of the first parts of the GRU special forces. October 4 is the day of the unit, which is celebrated today. The 10th Special Forces Brigade belonged to the Odessa Military District, Colonel M.Ya. was appointed the first brigade commander. Kochetkov, he was also responsible for the formation of 10 ObrSpN. The battle flag was awarded to the 10th separate brigade of the GRU special forces on April 24, 1964. In the same 1964, the first major exercises of the Special Forces troops were held in the USSR, in which soldiers of the 10th brigade also participated. 10 ObrSpN in the shortest possible time became the best part of the Odessa Military District, was repeatedly awarded various awards and passing pennants from the USSR Ministry of Defense, in 1967 the special forces brigade was given the name "50th anniversary of the October Revolution".

On the eve of the celebration of the GRU Special Forces Day (October 24) and the Military Intelligence Day, which falls on November 5, the Voentpro online store presents to its customers a new line of products dedicated to the domestic GRU Special Forces Special Forces - now you have the opportunity to purchase not only registered special forces flags, but also , . In order to buy a personalized keychain with the symbols of the 10th Special Forces Brigade from Molkino, just follow the link and go through the standard ordering procedure. In you can also find souvenirs dedicated to other special forces brigades.

The structure of the 10th ObrSpN was “three-battalion” when created - each of the three reconnaissance battalions included three reconnaissance companies, which in turn consisted of 4 reconnaissance platoons, but the reconnaissance platoon included three squads of 3 GRU Special Forces fighters each. Note that 325 ooSpN were stationed in Feodosia, which belonged to 10 ObrSpN. Later, he was transferred to the territory of the main unit and became the 4th battalion of the 10th brigade. The 10th Special Forces Brigade also included the Headquarters, the Airborne Forces, a special weapons platoon, a communications battalion, a mining company, a RMO, an auto company. Today, 10 ObrSpN consists of three separate battalions: 104th, 551st, 107th ooSpN. In addition, the 100th experimental separate reconnaissance brigade is stationed in Mozdok - it was created on the basis of 85 oSpN, which previously belonged to 10 ObrSpN, in 2009. Until 2009, the 10th Special Forces Brigade was formed exclusively on a contract basis - today the number of contract soldiers in military unit 51532 still significantly exceeds the number of conscripts. You cannot find the usual barracks in Molkino - a hostel with rooms for four people is equipped here, servicemen of the 10th ObrSpN, regardless of the type of service, live in the same conditions. The level of comfort in the Molka special forces brigade is much higher than the average.

The structure of individual special forces brigades in the USSR and Russia could be different - the number of reconnaissance battalions varied, for example. The training of fighters in parts of the Special Forces of the GRU could also differ slightly, one thing remained unchanged - soldiers and officers, united by the famous bat, terrified the enemy anywhere in the world. The Voenpro online military store offers active OBRSpN fighters and special forces of the past to purchase for themselves or as a gift to friends for Special Forces Day a variety of gifts and souvenirs with the appropriate symbols. or - the “caliber” of the gift is up to you. In anticipation of the autumn coolness and winter colds, they are relevant - for example, this:

The experience of training sabotage units of the Special Forces of the GRU with the creation of a new system has reached a new level. If earlier it was only about separate companies of military intelligence special forces, subordinate to the leadership of the units to which they were assigned, now the system of special forces has become extremely centralized. The training of highly qualified officers for the GRU ObrSpN in the newly opened educational institutions (faculties), joint exercises and training, and a scientific base for sabotage activities have become the key to creating perhaps the best system of special forces in the world. The 10th Special Forces Brigade became a full-fledged part of the new system of functioning of the GRU units of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR - the first 4 years of existence, the fighters of the 10th Special Forces Special Forces spent in endless exercises, shooting, and training. The everyday life of the soldiers of the 10th Special Forces Brigade in the new century is not too different from how the guys from the 10th Special Forces Brigade lived at the dawn of its existence - of course, weapons are changing, the scientific base is being improved, new specific tasks appear, but the essence is the same - training, training, training.

Today's everyday life of fighters of the 10th ObrSpN is not just a polishing of actions in situations typical for special forces units, this is, first of all, comprehensive training. The mandatory training program for military personnel of the 10th Special Forces Brigade includes sapper business. On the territory of military unit 51532 in Molkino, a training ground is equipped, where the special forces of the 10th ObrSpN hone their mining skills, of course, having previously mastered the theory in the classroom:

New technologies make it possible to simulate firing from automatic weapons in classrooms. Today, soldiers of the 10th separate special forces brigade have the opportunity to use a specialized simulator.

Which, however, does not interfere with training "aiming" the old fashioned way, in the corridors of the barracks:

It is characteristic that the radio business in 10 ObrSpN is mastered to one degree or another by all fighters - the principle of universality of training is also observed here. Special forces from military unit 51532 are studying the sign system in accordance with Morse code, and are able to use modern radio stations. The radio training of the soldiers of the 10th Special Forces Brigade also includes the ability to hear messages transmitted by Morse code - a task, to put it mildly, not an easy one.

One of the most, perhaps, the most interesting and exciting stages of training a special forces intelligence fighter of the Airborne Forces is parachuting, especially when it comes to jumping from an IL-76. Each fighter of 10 ObRSpN without fail makes the most difficult jump from a height of more than 600 meters. Jumping from IL-76 is a really dangerous undertaking, it is by no means landing from a helicopter. Therefore, appropriate training is also provided: the special forces are working out their actions on simulators to automatism - they can be seen at the training ground of military unit 51532. In addition, at first the fighters of the 10th ObrSpN jump from AN aircraft - only very thorough preparation can prevent the fatal "convergence" of paratroopers in the air . In the video below, the jumps of the soldiers of the 10th Special Forces Brigade were filmed by the special forces themselves, pay attention to the utmost concentration of each. The personnel of 10 ObrSpN are required to make at least four jumps per year.

Even after superficially familiarizing yourself with the training system for the fighters of separate brigades of the GRU special forces, you stop doubting for at least a second the validity of the famous motto of the Special Forces troops “Only stars are above us.” This saying is as familiar to everyone as a symbol of military intelligence special forces, like a black bat. Among the goods of the online store Voentorg "Voenpro" there are, for example, T-shirts with the famous motto. In order to, depicted in the figure below, just click on the image - you will be taken to the corresponding page of our military department.

Since 1967, a series of operations began for the Soviet army special forces in Mozambique, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Ethiopia, the Caribbean and other countries of the world. The events in Prague in 1968 were also a brilliant operation of the Soviet army special forces, the work of our ObrSpN was appreciated by the whole world. It is known, for example, that the legendary Otto Skorzeny was amazed and admired by professionals from the Soviet military intelligence. Very often, the essence of these operations was to confront the American commandos - including the efforts of the fighters of the 10th ObrSpN, the Soviet military intelligence spetsnaz claimed the GRU of the General Staff as one of the most dangerous military organizations in the world. Details about most of the military operations of the Special Forces of the GRU of that period of existence of the 10th Special Forces Brigade are still quite difficult to find out today.

There are many myths and legends about the training of military intelligence special forces - of course, a lot of fiction, but the fact remains: in accordance with the charter, the soldiers and officers of the GRU ObrSpN are required to be able to conduct sabotage and subversive activities (for example, derail trains alone or mine large industrial facilities), have skills in hand-to-hand combat that are much higher than the average level, be fluent in the art of camouflage, covert movements and silent elimination of enemy soldiers, and be able to recruit agents. Of course, this is not a complete list of the skills of a soldier of the GRU army special forces. The fighters and veterans of the GRU ObrSpN are a separate caste of highly professional military men, "universal soldiers" - the elite of the Russian army. The online store Voentorg "Voenpro" has a full-fledged section dedicated to the special forces of military intelligence. Here our customers will find various souvenirs with GRU special forces symbols, thematic ones, clothes and much more. For example, such a colorful and image of an OBRSpN fighter will be a wonderful gift for friends or relatives who served in the Special Forces troops for Special Forces Day and the Military Intelligence Day following it.

Covert operations in Africa and Asia were replaced by Afghanistan, where special forces units of military intelligence and the Airborne Forces undoubtedly became the main striking force of the Soviet troops - suffice it to say that special forces, which accounted for only 1% of the total contingent, were responsible for carrying out 75% operations on the territory of the DRA. The soldiers of the 10th separate brigade of the GRU special forces in 1985 were equipped with (partially) 186 ooSpN, introduced at the same time into the territory of the DRA. The 186th separate special forces detachment began to form in February on the basis of the 8th Special Forces Special Forces Brigade of the GRU - a group of 24 soldiers headed by Lieutenant V.P. arrived from the 10th Special Forces Brigade. Kovtun. It is characteristic that the detachment of 10 ObrSpN consisted mainly of violators of military discipline, each of whom was awarded orders and medals more than once during the period of his stay in Afghanistan. By April 7, the 186th special forces detachment with fighters of the 10th ObrSpN crossed the border of the DRA, and by April 16 it reached its permanent location - n.p. Shahjoy.

Soldiers of the 10th ObrSpN GRU as part of the 186th detachment ended up in a zone where there were no Soviet troops before, initially the army special forces were engaged in familiar work - organizing ambushes along the routes of caravans with weapons and drugs. The first Afghan losses for the 10th Special Forces Brigade are associated with the assault operations planned by the headquarters - there is, in general, nothing to comment on. In the summer of 1986, MI-8 and MI-24 helicopters appeared at the disposal of 186 ooSpN, which significantly increased the combat capability of the special forces unit in Shahdzhoy, at the same time the personnel began to be staffed not only with special forces, but also with junior infantry officers. One of the commanders of the 186th special forces reconnaissance detachment, V. Sergeev, wrote in his memoirs about the lieutenant of the 10th ObrSpN GRU V.P. Kovtun: “I could entrust him with the execution of any task and not be afraid that the plan would fail. He was the implementer of my ideas. A lot of people were offended and said that Sergeyev specially sent Kovtun to the most "bread" places. But "bread" in our business must be understood as the most complex and dangerous. Therefore, I answered the claims simply: “You can go instead of Kovtun. Are you only capable of making two nightly marches of 15-20 kilometers to the ambush site, hiding in some kind of ditch during the day, being under the scorching sun, when even in order to “pee the need” you need to crawl? Are you able to beat the caravans under the very noses of the spirits, close to large base areas and successfully repel the attacks of many times superior enemy forces? If yes, then go ahead! After that, there were no people who wanted to.” The fighters of the 10th Special Forces Brigade, therefore, had to perform the most difficult tasks - since the training of the GRU army special forces made it possible to honorably get out of a variety of troubles.

Special forces lieutenant of military intelligence from the 10th ObrSpN V. Kovtun in his memoirs describes more than one operation of his wards, one of these stories is the story of the first Stinger MANPADS with documentation captured by the fighters of the special forces brigade. During one of the ordinary reconnaissance sorties, a detachment of soldiers of the Special Forces discovered a group of Mujahideen on the ground, moving on motorcycles. The special forces attacked the "spirits", during the battle 16 enemy fighters were destroyed, personally the lieutenant of the 10th separate special forces brigade delivered the "Stinger" and a diplomat with documentation. Unfortunately, not all combat outputs of the airborne reconnaissance fighters went so smoothly - in the video below, the memory book of the 186th special forces detachment of military intelligence in the DRA - there are also fighters of the 10th ObrSpN GRU who died heroically in Afghanistan.

As already mentioned, the fighters of the 10th ObrSpN GRU belong to the reconnaissance of the Airborne Forces - landing here is a mandatory program both in training and in real combat operations. In general, the interaction of Special Forces detachments with helicopter units is the key to the success of most operations of army special forces units. In the arsenal of the military agency "Voenpro" there are products not only with the traditional symbols of the troops of the Special Forces of the GRU General Staff, but also, for example, the image on which is a standard plot of the military operation of the army special forces. and Mi-8 helicopters attacking the enemy, you can follow the link to the corresponding page (it is also enough to “click” on the image below).

In 1990, the irreversible process of the collapse of the empire began. The collapse of the Soviet Union was a severe blow to the domestic armed forces - this primarily affected the elite types of troops. Firstly, the unified system of selection and training of personnel, debugged over the years, collapsed, the material base disappeared in an unknown direction. The newly formed states sought to obtain ownership of the maximum possible number of bases for special forces of military intelligence, the fleet, the Strategic Missile Forces - 10 ObrSpN, stationed in the Odessa Military District, was now part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Already in 1991, the 10th separate special-purpose brigade of the GRU of the USSR was transformed into the 1st parachute regiment of the army of independent Ukraine. The material and technical base of the 10th ObrSpN GRU, in accordance with the Belovezhskaya agreements, also became the property of Kyiv.

It seemed that this was the end of the history of one of the best special forces brigades of the GRU of the Soviet Union - however, the situation at the beginning of the 21st century dictated the need to strengthen the Russian-Georgian border in the area from the Krasnodar Territory to Dagestan. It was decided that it was necessary to form a separate special-purpose brigade here, the fighters of which could work effectively in the problem area. On October 10, 2002, the President of the Russian Federation signed an order to recreate the 10th ObrSpN GRU. The corresponding directive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is dated November 30 - the settlement of Molkino in the North Caucasian Military District was chosen as the place of deployment of the 10th Brigade. Molkino is a small village 150 kilometers from Krasnodar - it is known primarily for its military unit, where 10 ObrSpN is deployed. The military camp in Molkino is exemplary, according to a rather capacious definition of one of the journalists who visited the 10th special forces brigade - rather resembles a sanatorium, although slightly "soviet". If photographs of the barracks and classrooms can be found, then the layout of the objects of military unit 51532 is classified information. In the classroom for preparing for guard duty, there is a full-fledged model of the military camp HF 51532 with all buildings and communications - in the photo below, a small fragment of this model.

Voentorg online store "Voenpro" reminds its customers that the Day of the Military Intelligence Officer is just around the corner - take care in advance about gifts to friends, relatives, colleagues. There are a variety of gifts for scouts and soldiers of the GRU army special forces - for example, we advise you to pay attention to comfortable steel ones.

Military unit 51532 began to form in Molkino in January 2003, but by May 1, the new part of the GRU special forces was already functioning. The main tasks of the 10th Brig. Detachments of the 10th Special Forces Brigade were in Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, Abkhazia, South Ossetia - hotbeds of tension here are a permanent phenomenon, the fighters of the 10th ObrSpN GRU from Molkino from the very beginning to the present day are in constant combat readiness.

In general, constant combat readiness is a normal, everyday state for individual brigades of the GRU special forces, which is why they are the elite of the RF Armed Forces and the pride of the nation. The online store Voentorg "Voenpro" pays tribute to all the GRU ObrSpN by creating dedicated to each of them. In addition, our customers can find a lot of unique themed products - there is simply no better place to choose a gift for the Military Intelligence Day. We recommend paying attention to a series of towels with the symbols of the Russian army special forces. For example, you can with the traditional symbols of the Special Forces troops and the image of a pair of military intelligence officers by clicking on the link to the product page:

The North Caucasus has always been a "powder keg" on the territory of Russia, therefore, detachments of special forces of the 10th ObrSpN have to be constantly deployed far from Molkino in different parts of the region. One of the points of deployment of detachments of the 10th brigade of the Special Forces is the settlement. Bamut (Chechnya) - despite the fact that today it is relatively calm here, the guys are still forced to fight. During one of the clashes with gangs in January 2008, a soldier of the 10th ObrSpN was killed - a group of special forces of military intelligence (12-15 people) in the vicinity of Bamut stumbled upon a large detachment of militants, a battle ensued, as a result of which an ordinary army special forces was killed. Fortunately, such losses of personnel of the Special Forces troops are rare - despite the fact that reconnaissance groups of 10 Special Forces Special Forces are often hunted here (it is known that militants can sit in ambush for weeks, hunting for special forces and ignoring passing policemen or conscripts), most often, military intelligence officers are head and shoulders above their opponents.

The fighters of the 10th ObrSpN, completing the consolidated detachments in Bamut, Borzoi, Argali, Teberda, Gali, Tskhinval, constantly replace each other. The special forces, constantly traveling to hot spots, of course, have their own signs and talismans. The main talisman of the military unit 51532 is the dog Barkas, who has already visited Chechnya three times, and by all means accompanies the fighters of the Molka special forces brigade in exercises and combat trips. They say that if Barkas manages to jump into a departing car with special forces, there is no way to “expel” him from there - the dog has another “combat exit”.

Due to the specifics of the tasks performed - after all, the North Caucasus, the training of the Molkinsky special forces is not limited to shooting, airborne assault, mining and similar, in general, standard training. Tasks may be related to the neutralization of terrorist groups, the release of hostages, the capture of militants. The forest closest to military unit 51532 has long been "occupied" by military intelligence officers. It is used as a kind of training ground - military intelligence special forces work out camouflage skills here, organize ambushes and seizures - the real work of special forces. It is characteristic that, for example, “day trips” in the forest, followed by the execution by the fighters of 10 ObrSpN of the task set by the commanders, are everyday “entertainment”.

Well, here is the result of the day: the fighters of the 10th ObrSpN, according to the scenario of the exercise, organized an ambush on a car with militants carrying important documentation. The enemy and important information are captured without unnecessary "noise and dust".

Well, we continue to acquaint our customers with the assortment of the Voenpro military store and remind us of the upcoming Special Forces Day in Russia - there is very little time left until October 24, it's time to think about gifts to friends and colleagues. In our military store there are both serious gifts and small, but interesting souvenirs - the latter, for example, can be attributed. Of course, they are made in the symbols of the GRU army special forces.

We all still have fresh memories of the conflict in South Ossetia in 2008 - it was the 10th separate special forces brigade that took the main blow here. As mentioned above, 10 ObrSpN in Molkino was formed specifically to protect the southern borders of Russia. As part of the tasks assigned to a separate special-purpose brigade in the territory of South Ossetia, before the start of hostilities, there was a peacekeeping contingent from the 107th Special Forces of the 10th Special Forces Brigade - it was this GRU Special Forces unit that was the first to engage in battles with the Georgian Armed Forces. On August 8, 2008, that "five-day" war began with massive attacks on the detachment of 10 ObrSpN.

Three fighters of the Molkinskaya brigade of the Special Forces died that day - among them Raushan Abdulin, an ordinary special forces soldier of military intelligence, who was awarded the title of Hero of Russia (posthumously). During the battle, a Georgian tank, supported by ground forces, broke into the territory of the town where the battalion of 10 ObrSpN was stationed. The shelling of communications began - including the sanitary unit, where the wounded soldiers of the 10th special forces brigade and civilians were located. Raushan Abdullin, with the support of S. Aboimov, moved towards the tank, but the special forces were noticed - a shot from a cannon towards the position of an ordinary 10 ObrSpN stopped the movement. A few seconds later, Raushan Abdullin came to his senses - despite multiple shrapnel wounds and shell shock, the commando crawled to the Georgian tank and neutralized the danger with a shot from a hand grenade launcher. A private of the 10th Special Forces Brigade died on the battlefield from multiple wounds and blood loss. The twenty-year-old intelligence officer received the Star of the Hero posthumously. On the territory of military unit 51532 in Molkino, it is planned to create a monument, and today a tribute to the memory of the deceased soldier of the 10th ObrSpN is paid in this way:

At the location of military unit 51532 there is a small museum - this is both a collection of trophies and the history of the unit and the Russian army special forces as a whole. Of course, the trophies of the "Five-Day War" in South Ossetia 2008 take their place among the exhibits of the museum 10 OBRSpN. In addition, there are non-standard weapons, clothing and equipment of militants seized in Chechnya. The pride of the 10th Special Forces Brigade is an impressive rack with cups, certificates and medals won by the fighters of the 10th Special Forces Brigade. On August 8, 2011, Dmitry Medvedev visited the location of military unit 51532 - on this day, the 10th separate brigade of the GRU special forces was awarded the Order of Zhukov. This order is awarded "for merits in conducting major military operations", 10 ObrSpN was the first military unit to receive such an award. Since 1994, the Order of Zhukov has been awarded to the most distinguished representatives of the highest command staff in the Russian Federation - about 100 people wear this insignia. And since 2011, it has also been the only military unit - the 10th separate special forces brigade of the Order of Zhukov. If we continue talking about awards and incentives, it is worth noting that, starting in 2009, it is the 10th ObrSpN that represents the North Caucasus Military District at the Victory Parade on May 9th. Special forces from Molkino annually walk along the cobblestones of Red Square under their banner.

The number of goods of the Voenpro online store dedicated to military intelligence and GRU special forces has long exceeded a hundred - if you want to find a gift for a friend or colleague for Military Intelligence Day, GRU Special Forces Day, unit day or other memorable date, just visit our military store. Among other things, in the thematic line of goods there are covers for documents with symbols of military intelligence and Special Forces troops. In order to buy, for example, just follow the link.

It has already been said above that the material and technical base of the 10th ObrSpN is one of the best in the country. Here are collected the best samples of small arms, the most modern samples of high-tech devices for army special forces (reconnaissance drones, night vision devices, motion sensors, etc.), the Tigr armored vehicles that have already gained authority.

In addition, recently 10 ObrSpN is the only formation of the RF Armed Forces, where the latest domestic armored vehicles "Lynx" are in service. The operation of the "Lynx" causes an ambiguous reaction - for example, it is difficult for someone to get used to the automatic transmission in an armored car. They say that the Lynx accelerates too slowly - a serious problem if it is necessary to evacuate a military intelligence special forces group. However, in general, the reaction to the "Lynx" in 10 ObrSpN is rather positive - the special forces are pleased with the soft suspension, reliable (unlike the "Tigers") winch, the "thoughtfulness" of the cabin (it is possible to unfasten the seat belts in a split second). In general, the armored car for the army special forces was made modern, quite reliable and moderately comfortable - the air conditioner, they say, works “perfectly well”.

Disembarkation of fighters of 10 ObrSpN from the armored car "Lynx":

The 10th separate special-purpose brigade is stationed in a small settlement, located at an impressive distance from large cities. However, fighters of the 10th ObrSpN often spend weekends in Krasnodar, 150 kilometers is a 3-4 hour journey. The infrastructure of the military unit 51532 is developed enough so that the military personnel of the 10th ObrSpN could occupy their free time with something (which, by the way, is very little). On the territory of HF 51532 there is a fairly modern cinema that works every evening. Of course, various events and, let's say, "hobby circles" are organized in the club for fighters of the 10th ObrSpN. Speaking of leisure, I would like to dwell on the best way for a man to spend his free time - sports and physical education. In the 10th Special Forces Brigade, the closest attention is paid to this issue; up to 3-4 hours a day are allotted for the physical training of military intelligence special forces soldiers from Molkino. A park has been organized on the territory of the military camp with all the shells necessary for the full development (beams, horizontal bars, etc.). In addition, fighters of the 10th ObrSpN have the opportunity to devote their free time to a variety of sports games - basketball nets and football fields are available.

Bars and a horizontal bar are the best developmental exercises and friends of a GRU OBRSpN fighter, but in winter you won’t get much pleasure from such shells in the fresh air. On the territory of the military camp of the 10th separate special forces brigade there is an impressive sports complex. The facility is designed for training fighters of the 10th ObrSpN in a gym equipped at a very high level, practicing a variety of martial arts and sports games, and holding competitions. I would also like to note the small sports corners available in each barracks - sports on the territory of the military camp 10 ObrSpN are really everywhere.

It would be surprising if our military department did not find a place for comfortable sportswear with the symbols of the Special Forces troops. We are ready to bring to your attention shorts, sweatpants, t-shirts, hoodie sweaters of various formats. We recommend, for example, to pay attention to the comfortable shorts "Military Intelligence" - these are really comfortable clothes for playing sports, jogging around the stadium or rough terrain. Natural cotton fabric from which shorts (as well as T-shirts, pants, and sweaters) with the symbols of military intelligence and GRU special forces are made is a guarantee of comfort during physical exertion. In order to just follow the link and place an order, the same applies to other types of sportswear presented in the Voenpro online store.

Above the entrance to the educational building 10 ObrSpN in Molkino there is a poster with the famous saying of A.V. Suvorov "Hard in teaching - easy in battle." This phrase, familiar to everyone, exactly reflects the attitude of soldiers and officers of the 10th Special Forces Brigade to everyday work - this is one of the units where really high-class professionals of the Special Forces troops serve, who, among other things, are forced to confirm their qualifications very often.

The Ministry of Defense spent more than 50 million rubles. for the modernization of the Molkino training ground, where, presumably, fighters of private military companies involved in military operations in Syria and Ukraine train. In total, over the past three years, the military department has allocated more than 1 billion rubles for the arrangement of military units located in the immediate vicinity of the training ground.

The Molkino training ground was in the news reports after the start of the Russian Aerospace Forces operation in Syria. As previously reported, in addition to the military personnel of the Russian army, on the side of the government forces of Bashar al-Assad, the IS terrorist group (an organization banned in Russia) is fighting and suffering losses from the fighters of the non-existing de jure private military company (PMC) Wagner.

It is in Molkino that Wagner fighters undergo special training.

As Gazeta.Ru already wrote, under the pseudonym Wagner, 46-year-old reserve lieutenant colonel Dmitry Utkin, who until 2013 commanded the 700th separate special forces detachment of the 2nd separate brigade of the Special Forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, may be hiding. After being transferred to the reserve, he worked for the Russian PMC Moran Security Group, which is engaged in the protection of merchant ships in the waters of Somalia and Nigeria. In 2014, presumably, Utkin created his own unit, which received the code name "Wagner PMC". The fighters of this unofficial unit, according to sources, fought in Donetsk, and recently took part in hostilities in Syria, in particular near Palmyra.

According to the Fontanka publication, the training base for fighters for the Wagner PMC is located in the Krasnodar Territory near the Molkino farm. First, the Wagner fighters were trained before being thrown across the border in the Rostov region, then their base was transferred to Molkino near Krasnodar, Gazeta.ru's interlocutors in the military confirm.

The Molkino farm is located 40 km from Krasnodar, in the Goryacheklyuchevsky district. According to open sources, three military units are stationed in Molkino: the 1st Guards Rocket Brigade (military unit 31853), the 10th separate special-purpose brigade of the GRU of the Ministry of Defense (military unit 51532), as well as the 243rd combined arms training ground (military unit 31853). ch 55485).

Meanwhile, as Gazeta.Ru found out, in early 2015, before the start of the Syrian campaign and the appearance of Wagner PMC fighters in Molkino, the training ground was seriously modernized, and new equipment worth more than 50 million rubles was delivered to the training ground.

Information on the purchase of polygon equipment for Molkino was posted on the website of the "single electronic trading platform" in April 2015. Then the military department allocated 293.9 million rubles. for the supply of technical equipment for five training grounds, including Molkino (on average, 56 million rubles were allocated for each training ground - Gazeta.Ru). The tender itself was declared invalid, and the supply contract was concluded with Garrison JSC, owned by the Ministry of Defense. The company had to re-equip the training ground before the fall of 2015, and from the tender documentation it becomes clear what the fighters were taught in Molkino.

So, according to the tender documentation, 53 unified target installations UMU-S-127 were supposed to be delivered to Molkino, designed to show light and medium targets when shooting at emerging targets.

The documentation also refers to the delivery of 40 sets of the UMU-T1-127 target mount, designed to lift heavy, medium and light (by weight) targets at shooting ranges, headmistresses and firing camps when training troops to shoot at emerging targets: tanks, armored personnel carriers, cars, anti-tank guns.

“With the help of this equipment, fighters are taught how to shoot at night with the help of night vision devices,” says a source in the military department.

In addition, such targets can be fired not only from small arms, but also from heavier weapons.”

In addition to target equipment, five RTK-1 company tactical kits were delivered to the training ground, with the help of which it is possible to control targets during tactical exercises with live firing, using light simulation of shooting and undermining pyrotechnics, in day and night conditions. As well as two sets of PSO-R - radio-controlled portable shooting equipment designed for the operational creation and control of the target situation along the front up to 500 m and in depth up to 1500 m at any time of the year, day and weather conditions.

“With the help of this equipment, fighters are taught not just to shoot, but to interact with each other during an attack or defense,” the expert says.

Meanwhile, according to the State Purchases website, the army command was concerned not only with the technical equipment of the training ground, but also with raising the morale of the students.

Thus, in the fall of 2014, the Federal State Institution “Joint Strategic Command of the Southern Military District” held an auction for the provision of services for artistic and design work and the creation of expositions on the territory of the Ashuluk, Molkino and Prudboy training centers. The winning company for 2 million rubles. was supposed to make and install 12 posters at the training grounds with the inscriptions: “Defending the Fatherland is a sacred duty”, “Difficult in teaching - easy on the march”, “Every shot is on target”, “Armor power”, “There is such a profession - to defend the homeland ". As follows from the terms of reference, under the inscriptions there should have been images “illustrating the life, combat training of a formation, military unit, fragments of exercises and everyday life.”

Also, in addition to funds for the arrangement of the landfill, the Ministry of Defense previously allocated money for the construction of facilities in military units stationed in Molkino. So, in 2013, the department allocated 1.2 billion rubles. for "fulfillment of a full range of works on the facility: Development of the park area and technical territory of military unit 31853, Goryacheklyuchevsky garrison of the Southern Military District."

The contract included the construction of hangars for military equipment, warehouses for weapons and access roads to the facilities.

Meanwhile, training fighters also costs money. Boris Chikin, weapons specialist at Noran Security Group, claims that training costs are kept to a minimum because PMCs recruit people who know how to handle weapons.

“Such structures take trained people,” Chikin explains. - A priori, they know how to perform certain tasks. If you were a machine gunner or a sniper in the army, then you will also be a machine gunner or a sniper here. Skills are checked, adjusted if necessary, and then the combat coordination of the new unit is carried out for a specific task.

According to the specialist, the head of the unit will never take an incomprehensible person. “Everything comes from a certain task. For example, if a group is recruited to escort a convoy, we look at what weapons the customer can provide us. Well, we are recruiting people for this business, - Chikin explains. - Preference is always given to paratroopers, former special forces and marines. Nobody wants to spend extra money.”

Gazeta.ru sent an official request to the Ministry of Defense with a request to comment on the information that fighters of a private military company could be trained at the Molkino training ground to participate in a special operation in Syria. And also explain on what basis and at whose expense they can be trained. However, the military department could not give a prompt comment.

The day of special forces units is celebrated - units known as special forces. This word, which has entered foreign languages, has become a symbol of extremely effective, secretive and highly skillful military power. How did the creation of special forces begin and what are the most important tasks these units solve today?

For 12 years now, Special Forces Day has been an official holiday. Now the country is openly honoring those who used to remain in the shadows. After all, even the name "special forces" was secret. Our "sworn friends" did not even guess about the presence of these units in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

Fight against nuclear danger

After the end of World War II, all reconnaissance and sabotage units were disbanded in the armies and navies of all countries of the anti-Hitler coalition. But by the end of the 1940s, relations between the recent allied countries cooled noticeably. By demonstrating to the whole world the nuclear bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Americans made it clear that the era of nuclear dictatorship was beginning - and the United States would be the dictator. To implement these plans, the Americans developed programs for the use of tactical nuclear weapons. And if stationary launchers (PUs) could be detected and pre-emptive strikes were made against them, then mobile launchers were of particular danger, since they could change the place of the starting positions. Something had to be done to counter this.

Therefore, by directive of the Minister of War of the USSR of October 24, 1950, 46 separate special-purpose companies were created with combined arms and mechanized armies, in the airborne army, as well as in military districts that did not have armies. The overall management of the formation and preparation of companies was entrusted to the 2nd Main Directorate of the General Staff.

One of the main tasks of the new units was the reconnaissance and destruction of operational-tactical means of nuclear attack. In addition, special forces were assigned the task of conducting special reconnaissance of enemy troop concentration areas, his headquarters, communication centers and control centers in the interests of the front headquarters. Also, the special forces were supposed to be engaged in the preparation of the reserve for the formation of reconnaissance and sabotage formations and the deployment of partisan operations behind enemy lines in the event of his invasion of the territory of the USSR.

The commanders of special forces companies were recent participants in the war - carriers of unique combat experience. In the leadership of the special forces were legendary scouts and commanders of partisan formations.

Marshal Zhukov's contribution

In 1953, a significant part of the spetsnaz companies was reduced and only twelve of them remained.

The staff structure of a separate company did not allow organizing full-fledged combat training, as well as training the necessary reserve, due to the fact that the personnel also had the tasks of carrying out internal and guard duty and performing household work. In this regard, the head of operational intelligence, Major General N. V. Sherstnev, turned to the Minister of Defense G. K. Zhukov with a proposal to form three battalions on the regular strength of the remaining companies. Realizing the importance of special intelligence, Georgy Konstantinovich decided to form not three, but five separate battalions, at the same time, he decided to leave three separate companies. Realizing that war veterans are gradually leaving the troops, and special forces require special training, Zhukov also decided to create a second airborne school in Tambov, where special forces officers were to be trained.

However, it ended up costing him the job. The party leadership was frightened by the initiative of the strong-willed marshal and he was accused of preparing units for organizing a military coup in the country and seizing power.

Fortunately, battalions were nevertheless formed in the Northern Group of Forces, the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany, as well as in the Carpathian, Transcaucasian and Turkestan districts of the first strategic echelon. These organizational and staff measures made it possible to improve the quality of combat training and strengthen the capabilities of special intelligence.
