• We unscrew the bolts that hold the tank on the shelf.

Leak repair

There are two reasons for this, which means that there are two ways to solve the problem.

First option

Consider the first option, in which the water level has risen so much that it goes through the overflow. Therefore, the adjustment must be performed when it is at its peak. This will avoid exceeding the water level in the tank, even if the pressure in the system is maximum.

Second option

Consider the second option, in which the water level in the tank drops. In order for it to rise and the flow to stop, you need to determine the reasons. Often a leak is the result of damage or wear to the pear. Over time, the material may lose elasticity, which will cause a leak.

Everything is solved in this way:

• A temporary solution is to add a load. Multiple nuts may be used. Having made the structure heavier, the pear will press the drain hole of the tank more tightly.
• A more thorough and effective way is to replace the pear. You need to turn off the water, get the pear, and then replace it with a new one. There is one recommendation: you should only go to the store with an old pear, as this will allow you to choose an exact new copy that is 100% suitable for our design.
