Announcers fire type ipr manual. Manual fire detector IPR - purpose, model range

A manual fire detector is mandatory included in any fire alarm system. It is designed to trigger an alarm manually by employees, visitors, or other building personnel in the event of a fire being detected.

The manual fire detector includes a trigger mechanism in its design, it can be a button, lever, or other device. When it is mechanically acted upon, the contacts are activated and an alarm is given. The design of fire detectors must comply with certain parameters. So to turn on the alarm, it is necessary to apply certain efforts to the trigger element, button or lever, more than 15 Newton. This is necessary to reduce the number of accidental clicks.

After a single press, an alarm signal should be transmitted regardless of whether the force is removed from the trigger element. The transfer of the trigger mechanism to its original position occurs using special procedures. According to the rules, detectors are installed at a height close to 1.4 meters in easily accessible places. In places where evacuation routes pass, there are zones of increased fire safety, both inside and outside buildings.

Most detectors are a box, mostly red or white, containing a button or lever. Influencing which includes a signal about the appearance of a fire to the fire department control panel. The signal to the security console is transmitted through special wires, loops.

Top Models

The market for fire alarm systems, including manual call points, is replete with many proposals. In this variety, it is best to opt for the simplest designs. A person in a fire is often in a state of stress, so the process of turning on the alarm should be as simple as possible. Various intricate ways to turn on like puzzles only lead to more panic.

Such alarms have been adopted by the fire departments for many decades. The market offers good products, both domestic and foreign. Among Russian manufacturers, one can single out the companies Rubezh, Arsenal Security, Bolid. Among foreign Satel, Simplex.

1. IPR-55

This detector is presented by Arsenal Security. It is used to manually turn on the alarm signal in fire and security alarms. It is designed for round-the-clock operation as part of the PPC (receiving and control device) of the Signal 20, Signal 42, Granite and similar types.

Electric power is supplied to it by a signal loop from the control panel. When the button is turned on, by moving the lever down, an alarm signal is sent to the control panel. The lever is returned to its original position using a special key or screwdriver.

The device is available in a red or white case. It has a color indication in standby mode, the red LED flickers, after operation it burns brightly and continuously.

Its cost, depending on the modification of the batch size, ranges from 195 to 260 rubles a piece.

2. IPR 513 - 10

Manual fire detector IPR 513-10 is presented by Rubezh. Its purpose is to send a signal "Fire" in manual mode to the contacts of the fire alarm. The signal from the alarm button to the control panel is transmitted by a two-wire loop. The detector operates in the power supply range from 9 to 30 V. To trigger, press the button with a force of 1.5 kg.

After pressing the button remains in the on position. To return to its original position, you will need to press a special pin or screwdriver on the lock through a hole in the button with a diameter of 3 mm.

The cost varies between 200 - 250 rubles per piece, depending on the size of the lot.

3. ROP-100/EU and ROP-101/EU

This product is represented on our market by the Polish company Satel. The manual call points of this company allow you to manually trigger an alarm. They work with CSP-104, CSP-108, CSP-204 and CSP-208 control panels.

To turn on the alarm, push the window in. This process causes the switch contacts to open. This will trigger the fire alarm and the red LED will light up.

To reset you will need a special key. The window in this device is available in two types: glass and plastic. Glass breaks when used. New glass is required to reuse the instrument. Plastic can be reused.

These detectors belong to a more expensive segment, their cost ranges from 1200 - 1600 rubles apiece.

Explosion-proof detector

IP 535 detector GARANT is designed to manually turn on the fire alarm in areas where there is an increased risk of explosion. It is designed for installation both indoors and outdoors. It can be installed in explosive zones of class 0. To connect it, special intrinsically safe connections of the Yakhont-I series are used.

IP 535 GARANT is adapted to work in a wide temperature range from -55 to + 70 ̊С. And at high humidity of about 98%, the maximum positive temperature should not exceed 40 ̊С. IP 535 GARANT is marked with the degree of explosion protection ExiaIIBT6.

To turn on the fire alarm, you need to break the glass, then press the button. An alarm will sound after the button is released.

The cost of such a detector ranges from 4200 to 4950 rubles, depending on the size of the batch.

Criterias of choice

Fire safety will depend on the correct choice of device. And these are human lives, the safety of property and premises.

For the right choice, you should consider some points:

  1. First of all, you need to pay attention to the degree of protection. If standard protection is quite suitable for the office. That for warehouse and industrial premises must be selected individually. Depending on the environmental conditions, you may need a waterproof, intrinsically safe, or explosion-proof design.
  2. Execution of sensors, single operation, or multiple.
  3. Appearance, how they will fit into the design of the room, installation requirements.
  4. Manufacturer and price.

In fact, manual call points are a conventional electrical contact closed with a button or lever. Often, in addition to the button itself, it includes one or two indicator lights, and a small electronic circuit. The circuit serves to convert the button signal into an electronic form that can be understood by the PPC (control panel). The button and the rest of the filling are usually located in a plastic case with an inscription like “Press in case of fire”.

Often, the choice of detector will be provided by the type of installed security and fire alarm. The choice must be made among the buttons that can be paired with the alarm control panel.

The installation method and design of the fire detector plays an important role in the selection. Especially if it is installed in a residential or office space. When planning places for installing manual call points, it should be remembered that they must be accessible to any person, the distance between them should not exceed 61 meters.

When choosing a sensor, you should pay attention to the material. Give preference to made with impact-resistant plastic. This will protect against problems that may arise due to accidental mechanical damage.

It is better to opt for a domestic manufacturer. This will provide better access to the service and save money. Most manufacturers produce their products according to international standards.

The IPR-3SU detector is a structure consisting of a base, an inner cover and an outer cover. The detector has a built-in optical indication of the standby mode (green indicator) and operation (red indicator).

The detector is used for round-the-clock continuous operation with control panels (hereinafter referred to as PPK) such as PPK-2, PPS-3, Raduga, Signal-20 and others. The detector receives and displays the return signal (acknowledgment) when working with the control panel (for example, control panel-2 or PPS-3). The electrical power supply of the detector and the transmission of a fire notification is carried out via a two-wire alarm loop (hereinafter AL). The detector belongs to products with periodic maintenance. The IPR-3SU detector sends an alarm signal to the alarm loop when the drive element (button) of the detector is turned on. After the force is removed, the detector remains in the on state. Switching the detector to standby mode is carried out by returning the button to its original state using the TsFSK.734311.008 extractor, which is included in the delivery set.

Connection options:
. option 1 - imitation of a fire detector (PI) with a normally closed contact (NCC), with acknowledgment;
. option 2 - imitation of active smoke PI;
. option 3 - imitation of PI with NZK for OPS devices;
. option 4 - imitation of PI with NZK with acknowledgment.

Option 1.
When the button is pressed, the detector turns on an additional resistor in the loop, which is perceived by the control panel as an alarm signal. After the response signal of the control panel (acknowledgment signal), the detector turns on a red alarm indicator. After removing the force applied to the button, the detector remains on until the button is returned to its original position using the extractor.

Option 2.
The detector, after pressing the button, generates an alarm signal in the form of an abrupt decrease in internal resistance. In this mode, the detector does not have an internal current limiter and the amount of current in the control panel loop when the detector is triggered is determined only by the characteristics of the output current driver of the control panel or by installing an additional current-limiting resistance in each detector in the AL (+) circuit. At the same time, the alarm red indicator turns on.

Option 3.
An alarm message for the control panel is a break in the AL line when a button is pressed. At the same time, the alarm signaling of the detector (red indicator) is turned on.

Option 4.
After pressing the button, the AL (-) line is blocked by a diode, which serves as an alarm message for the control panel. The control panel responds to the message by changing the polarity of the supply voltage, after which the alarm signaling of the detector is lit (red indicator).

Practice, as well as theoretical calculations, shows that no control and detection system can cover 100% of the area of responsibility and reliably localize the development of damaging factors. This also applies to fire alarm systems.

Therefore, such simple tools as a manual fire detector IPR are necessary to increase the level of reliability and overall efficiency.

IPR fire alarm is a system, first of all, of giving an alarm to start prompt action by other means of fighting fire or a damaging factor.

In practice, it is useful for starting the evacuation of personnel not involved in fire extinguishing from the building, including due to the appearance of a hazard that is not localized inside the premises.

This may be toxic smoke coming from outside from a fire occurring on the ground or in a neighboring building, natural disasters, the danger of collapse of structures.

Advantages and disadvantages

IPR refers to devices of a switching type, reusable.

Its advantages:

  1. responsible personnel or a person who detects the development of a damaging factor that is not recorded by an automatic control system can give a signal;
  2. devices are compact and reliable;
  3. protection against unauthorized or accidental activation of the alarm is easily provided;
  4. the fire detector IPR can be turned off by a special method, by a responsible person.

There are detectors and disadvantages. Most of them relate to design features:

  • some of the devices are built on a switching contact circuit, oxidation of the corresponding structural elements can occur;
  • installation is required according to strict rules;
  • special shutdown schemes, the availability of funds for their use - should be controlled;
  • after an alarm is activated, some structural parts must be replaced;
  • the signal line may be damaged, as a result of which the alarm cannot be activated.

The last drawback neutralizes the fire detector manual radio channel IPR. But it also has disadvantages associated with the principle of operation, in particular, the influence of interference, the possibility of accidental activation by emission of radiation in the frequency band, and a limited range.

IPR design

Any IPR fire detector is an understandable device from an engineering point of view.

It consists of:

  1. corps;
  2. structures of changing the state of the signal circuit;
  3. a safety device, most often a section of glass or a plastic sliding, liftable panel;
  4. mechanism for fixing the state of alarm.

The IPR fire detector may differ in appearance, dimensions, connection scheme (with a normally closed or normally open circuit).

All modern devices of this class are defined by one thing: when looking at them, the usage pattern is clear.

On the outside of the case, short and clear instructions are applied in the form of visual-text symbols.

The person who gives the alarm can do it simply and effectively, and the subsequent measures by which the manual fire detector returns to the state of readiness are set out in the technical passport and must be known to the responsible personnel.

Principle of operation

The manual radio channel fire detector IPR, like other products, operates according to a clear scheme, it does not depend on the type of inclusion in the signal structure.

The idea is to demand elementary actions from the person activating the anxiety.

Therefore, to raise an alarm:

  • the safety device is removed, lifted, leaned back, broken;
  • the alarm button is pressed or the lever is moved (lowered, raised, pressed).

In this case, processes occur in the signal circuit that depend on the class of the device. A simple IPR detector only changes the state of the circuit.

More complex address-type devices interact with the data bus and exchange information with the security console or other processing unit according to the algorithm laid down by the system manufacturer.

After the manual fire detector IPR KSK or another model is activated, the alarm state is recorded by the device. To return the device to rest mode, the responsible personnel are invited to take some actions.

The simplest one is based on a reversible key scheme. They turn the lock, which returns the lever, the activator with the button to the zero position or closes the internal electrical circuit that resets the trigger state in the address devices.

List of IPR detector models

On the modern market, IPR fire detectors of various models are offered that meet the same standards.

In accordance with GOST R 53325 and the requirements of the European SO 7240 - applied inscriptions, symbols and their sizes, their locations on the body are standardized.

The minimum dimensions of safety devices are also subject to a single standard. On the example of typical representatives of the class, it is possible to analyze the principles on which a modern IPR manual detector is built.

Fire detector manual fireman IPR 514-3

Address device representative. When choosing one or another product, it is necessary to make sure that it is compatible with the data bus used in the applied automated system. It has several types of bus status monitoring and indication.

All models of devices comply with standardized industry requirements in terms of dimensions and ratio of functional parts of the case.

They provide for installation according to the approved GOST rules, the height from the floor to the button is from 1.4 to 1.6 meters, at least 750 mm in all dimensions to the nearest object, at a distance of no more than 50 m inside buildings and 150 m outside them - from each other.

Conclusion

Using a simple but effective IPR detector, you can significantly increase the functionality and efficiency of fire protection systems.

These devices can be used both for participation in automated fire suppression structures, and as a means for triggering light and sound alarms about the presence of dangerous factors.
